The Four Rules of Handling a Firearm
1. Always treat every gun as if it were loaded.
2. Always point the muzzle in a safe direction.
3. Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
4. Always be sure of your target and beyond.

Hey guys so I’m thinking of purchasing a modern replica of this muzzle loader. However, would I need to submit to a background check to purchase such a rifle, and could I just simply order such a rifle online to have shipped to my doorstep? Thank you!
Any thoughts?
With the current laws in effect, what is the legal status of a folder installed on an AR either non-stamped or stamped? If I have one and don’t want it anymore, can I unload it locally?
I turn 25 next year and get to inherit most of my dad’s stuff from my uncle and maybe his guns too.
Hey all,
I'll be moving to Washington in the next few months from Florida and I was curious how the magazine limit works with the pistols I already own. Is it considered an import if I bring my 10+ round mags with me?
Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!
Hey firearm family! Looking at the sub2k configured in 9mm with 10rnd mag.. does that fall under the awb? If so can you help me understand why? TIA!
I want this lever gun. Sportsman's website says there are restrictions. Tell me what they are, please.
What is restricted on this model? From what I am seeing, there is NOTHING WRONG HERE
A few years ago I bought an M&P Shield and got my concealed pistol license. I’m pretty small and boney so I never found a comfortable way to carry it without printing like crazy so I just left it hidden but assessable in my car. I still wanted to have something when out and about so recently I got a smaller gun, a Ruger LCP Max. Women’s jeans don’t have enough pocket space for even that but it fits well into my vest’s inner pocket, not ideal but I don’t print and it doesn’t become painful after 30 minutes.
Anyways, I was planning to pawn off my M&P Shield but I have a long commute and usually take off my vest while driving. I’m also more accurate with the Shield so I was thinking of keeping it as a car gun. If I do this I’ll have two loaded handguns with me while in the car and I don’t know if that’s legal. Is there a limit to how many loaded handguns you can carry simultaneously?
Bonus:
I’ve got a weird fascination with small guns and love the NAA 22lr revolver so I was thinking of getting it with the belt buckle holster. I guess that’s technically open carry but the damn thing is so small it looks more like a fancy regular carved metal belt buckle. Concealed carry in plain sight? It’s so small that it’s almost pointless for self defense, so I’d always carry my LCP with it. Then I’d always be carrying 2 guns and be carrying 3 when in the car…
my friend passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago and i am wondering if it is legal to inherit his pre ban legal ar15 even tho im not a direct family member or on a will?
In the middle section after the clothing and just before the Christmas gifts.
^What the title says.
Really enjoy shooting shotgun and want to learn tactical, but I am still kinda new and am not finding any places that even let you shoot shotguns let alone train. (I know Tacoma Sportsmen's has a range for clays, but that's all from what they've told me)
Any suggestions?
I was wondering if there is a way to get the flat dark earth colored Canik mc9 12+1 (wa only allows 10) in Washington state?
Bullseye in Tacoma and West Side Armory in Bellevue will transfer. Anybody see them in stock at their FFL? Preferably Central WA
Hey everybody, title says it all, Happy Halloween!
So I know I can take my 15 round mags to Florida but for the trip back to Washington will it be a problem??
Curious if anyone has experience with weapons being seized by LE (or the state) after a use-of-force incident.
Were they seized immediately? Did you provide them voluntarily?
If they were secured in a safe, did you voluntarily open it? If no, did they destroy the safe to gain access?
If they were secured in your vehicle, did they secure a warrant to secure your firearm, or...?
If a weapon was seized that is legal to possess but unlaw to purchase, was it returned to you after the legal proceedings, or was it forfeit (and you directed to receive compensation via a Tort form)?
Hey there,
I'm window shopping for a rifle and it's kind of hard with all the restrictions here in WA. I'm pretty new to guns so I was hoping you guys might have some good ideas. So far the Mini-14 Ranch is the only option that's caught my eye.
Edit: use will primarily be hobby/fun/range.
I'm kicking off a job search and would like to find an employer that is friendly towards people who believe the second amendment is a right.
Obviously, firearm, firearm accessory and retailers are largely on the list. Is there a list of 2A friendly employers? I'd like to work at a place where I don't have to hide that I protect my family with firearms.
Edit: Personally, I'm looking for a white collar job (I work in tech), but I'm sure I'm not the only one looking for a job so feel free to post other lines of work.
I'm getting a divorce, part of the process is a division of assets, to do that I need to establish the value of my firearms and accessories. My STBX is going delusional on the millions I must have hidden there from her. I'm looking for someone to provide me with an estimate on the value I have here and seal it with some sort of estimator stamp/name. Preferably someone in the Bellevue-Everett corridor.
Brief inventory:
2x AR, 22lr lever action, 22lr bolt, Glock 34, CZ Shadow 2, TX22, pot metal 22LR revolver, bags, bipods, reloading press, few tools, a bit of ammo (mostly 22lr) and what not of accessories.
Please shoot me any contacts or places you'd recommend (DJ's loan is unfortunately no more...)
This is my short story on making a non compliant gun compliant for import. Plus you can still get on a pretty good deal at Sig for a $100 tango LVPO and a free P365 with the purchase of a MCX Regulator until pumpkin day. There are other places selling it for $1399 besides PSA. I would have gone for the $1700 conversion kit with a Romeo 4 if Sig would send to our state and use on one of my already AWs.
In Basic Steps:
Find a local FFL who will is willing to transfer a compliant gun. This was a little bit of a pain, because my usually considers it an AR-15 form, even though there are no AW features on the lower or the gun as it came or that the lower will work with AR-15 uppers (no buffer tube). FFLs exist who understand the law as written even with Bob & Bloomberg's ambiguity (just like a Keltec feature).
Find a middleman FFL who is willing to make the rifle compliant. I sent parts out so he can make it compliant. This service cost me $75+shipping.
(for the promo) get pictures of receipts and gun to Sig for the free 365 and a $100 LVPO. The only thing I need is the $100 buffer adapter.
The regulate will get a 22 LR upper that is length compliant that comes form a lower that wasn't length compliant because of the folding stock. Vicious compliance lol.
So I recently bought a gun online and it looks like its actually going to arrive at the FFL tomorrow, however I recently just renewed my license so the characteristic problem I face is that the ID in my current possession has a hole punched in it but by date it is not yet expired, they gave me a piece of paper that has a barcode and all the information that will be on my new license but it has no picture on it.
So to do the transfer paperwork and show proof of ID am I going to have to wait for my new hard copy?
UPDATE: They are making me wait for a hard copy of my new license lol
I'm new to guns, and have only shot once (police community academy), but I think I want to pursue a career in Law Enforcement. Preferably I would like to have some experience before entering that realm. I understand renting can be quite expensive, which is why I'm wanting to get my own. From what I can gather, a 19 year old cannot purchase guns, but someone in my household can transfer theirs to me. Purchasing for someone is illegal, so I'm unsure where the loophole is. I would like a handgun/pistol, preferably one common in Law Enforcement but legal for 21+ to purchase. If you have any recommendations for a beginner (with smaller hands) and/or can answer this, I would really appreciate it.
I purchased a pistol from someone in Utah, they sent it to my ffl. I went to my ffl to do paperwork and start the background check process and they told me I would need an invoice of the purchase and that on the invoice it would have to show I paid Utah tax with the purchase.
This was a little strange as it’s a private sale. Has anyone dealt with this before and have recommendations?
This is the appeal to the WA Supreme Court after we won in the district superior court. I just noticed they set a date for oral arguments. I guess at least the hearing is set for January 2025 and not later in the year.

Just a question here: is 50 BMG used by any hunters when it comes to extremely large or dangerous game? I’ve been reading on the concept of an elephant gun, and it struck me as curious why it isn’t used
So with this upcoming election I was curious on what you thought on a few things. Seeing the history of our current AG who unfortunately will likely be our next governor, do you think gun ownership will drastically change for the worse in our state? Also what do you think might happen if we have a D governor and an R AG if that would ever even happen? My main concern is with the AWB and the possibility that many of the wordings for that and the mag ban will turn to crack downs on possession as well. What do you all think? Don’t forget to go out and vote!
I'm thinking of getting a henry single shot 357 rifle, and want to know if I can use it for hunting purposes or just as a range toy. I know .24 is the minimum for hunting deer but don't know if 357 is a good round for hunting large game in washington.
Is this knife legal in WA state? Seems to be spring loaded.
