Texan-Appalachian Flag

OC drawn ethnic cultural flag of Texans that are descended from the Anglo Scots-Irish Appalachians. It is identical to the official state flag of Texas but with the white star replaced with the Rhododendron flower quilt star and two saltire’s one above as well as below the star.

Left side: Single white star with red background, right side: alternating blue and white lines

Saw the flag described in the title and I'm having trouble finding it anywhere. The left ~third of the flag was a red rectangle with a single white star inside, and the right ~two-thirds was alternating horizontal blue and white lines (I believe 13 lines total, but not entirely sure). Seen today while driving on I-5 north of Seattle. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

(Fanmade) Flag of an Island Nation

https://preview.redd.it/2d1vgvdonb4e1.png?width=366&format=png&auto=webp&s=8478f0b2304e4a6927b3bc0fd16a870eb7851530

Hey everyone! A while back, my high school project was to create my own nation and go as in-depth as I could. I got really invested... oops :)

So this is the flag of an island cluster in the middle of the Atlantic. It was British-owned (we had to describe its history), so I modeled it off of one of the crosses. I added a little symbol in the middle.

Opinions? Improvements? I like the color palette, but is it too simplistic or overly complicated? Sorry, I'm new here.

Royal Standard of the King of Romania (1922-1947)

A purple field with blue-yellow triangle-patterned border overall is set a yellow fimbriated blue fleury cross and over it the Romanian eagle from the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Romania (1921-1947) in the middle.

What’s this flag in Zürich?

Have seen this flag at least twice in Zürich over the weekend (though it appears to be permanent in both locations). Red with a snake and what appears to be tools (hammer, etc).

Flag for the unified practice of science

Howdy everyone, here’s a flag I made today. It was made quite quickly so the quality may be a little reduced, symbolism:

Science, to me, is one of 2 human purposes, next to art. Science is the practice of knowledge, and you can leave it at that. Here’s some symbolism,

Shape: 4 triangular quadrants (I forgot the vexillogical name) middle two quadrants connected. Arranged in the shape of an hourglass, this is meant to represent time. The top part of the hourglass is grey and the bottom blue. The blue half, also arranged in an arrow pointed upwards, is meant to symbolize time progressing, bringing scientific advancement with it, with blue symbolizing scientific progress. The grey half pointed downwards is meant to symbolize regulation over progress, to ensure that progress doesn’t move too fast, and that progress is done safely. The two blue lines surrounding the top half are to symbolize how progress and regulation work in tandem. The green left quadrant is meant to represent the study of life (biology and the related studies) and the right to represent the physical sciences (physics and the related studies).

I hope you guys can enjoy and discuss this flag, and give me some recommendations on improvements. Thanks!

Looking to identify if this is actually a flag from a country or not. From my son's green army men toys.

So this is puzzling me. Google image search is not working well. He's got flags of USA, Germany, Great Britain, etc. But this one is confusing.

Since green army men are typically WWII or Vietman era, could it of been a country that no longer exists?

I appreciate any help. I just discovered this sub, and I'm enjoying it so far.

Help with identifying a flag

I'm on a quest to find a flag based off of a list of characteristics a friend has provided to me. Why not ask the friend? Well, they want me to find it by myself, but after browsing dozens of flags I thought of making a post to see if anyone knew of any flags that checked the characteristics.

This is what i know: it is a really niche flag, not sexuality-related or country-related. It has 6 colors in horizontal stripes following the pattern 1-2-3-4-3-5-6, no symbols, and one of the colors is blue. Possible topics are fetish, sub-culture or personality flags.

If anyone knows of any flags like this, please let me know. You'll make my day. TY for reading!
