I've always loved writing, I've been passionate about it but life took me in other directions. Suddenly something inside me sparked and I am dying to learn more and take a writing class or two. I can't afford to get a whole degree, and don't want to switch careers, just pursue it as a passion. What are my options for this? All I can find are two years programs or community classes for kids/teens.

My family recently moved here from southern Oregon and are regretting the decision so much. Husband and I are originally from just outside of Baltimore, MD and this place is way too similar for comfort as far as drugs, schools, and safety from what I've seen.
