It's easy to setup a PNWRiders meetup! Figure out what you want to do at least a week in advance and people will show up.

Hey guys hope everyone is riding safe.
Im from Texas and was on a submarine up here in Washington while I was in I got my BRC and ARC and then about 2 years later I got out of the navy here in Washington. I got caught up in all the things you have to do as a veteran when transitiong to civilian life.
I let my Texas drivers license and motorcycle endorsment expire and that was about 3 months ago. The people at the drivers license office said d have to redo my BRC before they can put a motorcycle endorsement on my bike. Ive been riding for almost 5 years now and I feel so frustrated.
Mostly with myself for getting caught up and letting my license expire but would they not accept my BRC or ARC at all? Is there no other option then to pay a few hundred dollars to redo everything?
TLDR: i took a BRC and then a ARC, ARC was completed 08/27/2021, texas license expired. DMV lady says I need to redo everything.

Hey you relatively local riders (pnw)! I’ve been riding adventure bikes for some years now with some pretty versatile 50/50 treads. I just got a new bike that I plan to only roll on road, and I want to ride all year as I always do. What style and brand would you recommend? I plan to put a lot of miles on em. My main concern is the amount of rain we get. Seeing as I’ve ridden on sub optimal blocky tread tires pretty much exclusively, on and a lot off road, I have no idea where to start for road going, long distance, and wet rides.
Hi everyone, for the past two weeks I have been practicing wheelies every day. This has been a dream of mine for years and my goal is to ride the balance point by the end of the year. But because I'm in my forties and a coward it has been a slow and some times painful process. I'm fortunate that I have multiple bikes that allow me to progress with less risk than some other people. I started practicing manuals and wheelies on my mountain bike, then my son's ttr110 pit bike, next is my wr250r dual sport, and my final stage will be on my Streetfighter V2.
I am able to practice because this is the first time since I started riding that I have this much free time. I recently lost my job and finding a new one has been rough. Instead of working for someone else again, I would like to own my own business. There are several wheelie training machines that are very expensive that have given me the idea of opening a wheelie school. Assuming you could learn to wheelie in a single day with one of these machines, what would you be reasonably willing to pay for the opportunity? How much would you pay to use your bike on the machine? How much would you pay to use someone else's bike?
Tl;dr: How much would you pay to learn how to wheelie your motorcycle without risk of injury or damage to your bike on a wheelie training machine in a single day? How much would you pay to learn how to wheelie safely on someone else’s motorcycle?

Rider down black sports bike in lacey near rich road
My best friend is riding up from PDX on Saturday to meet me in Winlock, WA. We are then heading west over to the beach on Hwy 6. Staying at a friends house at Lk Quinault Saturday night and riding around 101, back south along the Hood Canal into Tacoma for the second night. Took Monday off so we could ride up over Hwy 410 and enjoy some mountain roads before ending our weekend together. I want to leave RIGHT NOW, the wait is killing me and the weather is going to be perfect. He has never been out that way so let me know if there is anything on your must see list that is off of the 101 we should stop for.
Looking for riders that want to take shorts rides around an hour or two between points of interest no 5-hour 6-hour rides.
if you're in the Tri-Cities message me. have a Road King
I’m headed out today near Centralia and Lacey area. Im out in a black Ducati say what’s up if u see me
Went to their "mystery ride" last weekend. It was chill, and a lot bigger than they planned for, so there was a lot of intersection blocking which made me cringe, but whatever, we all share the roads. I was a little disappointed by the lack of airheads, only 3 showed up.
We essentially took the back roads (kinda/sorta) to Sultan and back via highway 522.
Anyway, they're doing another ride on Oct 19.
Free. Donuts before, bbq after (I think, I peeled off).
There were about 80 riders of all makes.
Anybody riding adventure/enduro want to ride in baker lake area?

I just got my permit and purchased a used rebel, but I live on a hill in a busy neighborhood in Tacoma. I’m still a little anxious about riding on the roads. Does anyone in Tacoma, Wa have any recommendations for secluded areas that would be good to practice around? I appreciate any suggestions!
So I just got my first motorcycle '24 Honda NX500. All of my gear should be here before the weekend and I am looking for a longer ride to go on. I'm in the Seattle area, and uncomfortable with the idea of riding highways in the area. Surface streets are fine, and highways outside the city are also fine.
I'm thinking of either taking the Edmunds ferry and riding up to hurricane ridge (or Cape Flattery if the park entrance line is terrible) OR riding out to Leavenworth and back.
What are y'all thoughts on those rides? Too long? Too short? Too hard?
I'm comfortable riding a bicycle for 3-4 hours fwiw.
Thanks!
I want to learn how to ride my scrambler at speed down unimproved and dirt roads. Do you guys have any recommendations for schools or programs that teach off-road or ADV skills?
So I am currently torn between these two bikes. This is going to be my first bike and I would like to make it my daily commuter. My commute is only 6mi with the option of going on the freeway for an exit or taking side streets. In terms of weight I like the feel of both these bikes and I feel confident sitting on both. So beyond that I need help figuring out what is right for me. If you own either what do you love/hate about it? Which would you choose?
I’m 31 and live in the Beaverton area/Portland metro area and am looking for riding buddies around my age. I ride a 22’ Kawasaki Z650RS. Looking for someone or a group of people to ride/grab drinks with/ food and general entertainment. Lemme know if anyone’s around 🤙
