Hi! So I’ve been looking in many places to find people online to play with, not much luck, though I intend to change that here! :) I play a lot of games right now, I’m volunteering and waiting to hear back on an interview I did as well. Though I do have plenty of free time at the moment! I mainly play ghost recon wildlands and insurgency sandstorm right now, though I have many other games as well! I’m really wanting a good friend to spend some time with ideally, and on the side, I’m going to a concert in March, but have no one to go with, it would be great to find someone here to do that with as well! Anywho, if you have any questions or whatnot, don’t hesitate to dm, I’m pretty responsive usually! :D
Friends and I are putting some events together! If interested in being contacted when the discord server is ready, please comment below 🤓
What We're About: New Roots Spokane is a non-affiliated community that hosts events to help people connect and grow their social circles in a fun, low-pressure environment. Ultimately, we want to see people attend these initial events & have the courage to take the next step of planning more one-on-one or smaller hangouts with those they resonated with.
Designed For:
Additional Details: • We primarily cater to 25-38 year olds, with or without kids, looking to build friendships outside of family life. • This is not a dating space, so please respect that to ensure everyone feels safe. • While the age range isn’t strict, we believe it helps create better opportunities for stronger connections. • Events require free to low-cost registration, seats will be limited to about 10-15 people. • Me and a few others are working on putting together the first 3 events, hoping that the first is ready by March.
My Why: I've been organizing events since 2011, from backyard concerts to building my own friend group here in Spokane through group outings, and am excited to help others do the same. Everyone deserves a strong support system and have been noticing the decline of meaningful gatherings. My goal is to create an environment where people can connect, build friendships, and form enriching communities. I don't just want to see you attend these events—I hope everyone eventually branches out with the people they've connected with and enjoys the journey of further building those relationships.
Try to make this short,
I've been jonesing for some nerdy ass friends... Where are you??
I came out to Spokane maybe about a year ago now, and it's been very hard. Finding people with similar interests...because i'm nerdy as fuck.
I have two goofy dogs, i write and play music, i smoke a bunch of weed, and i'm pretty free spirited.
Now that that's done with, what I'd like to find is a group of people who I can spend some time getting to know and potentially invest time in some tabletop rpg's with.
Above that, though, just people to hang out with, maybe people with dogs.... And who like to camp or hike, and who have a good sense of humor because that shit's important.
DM me friends....✌️
Hey all! I'm looking for my fellow Strive players to game with that happen to be local! It'll probably be online first but I plan on making it a weekly meetup thing. All levels and floors are welcome, feel free to DM me :)
I just moved back to town and I’m wondering if there is any local card shops that buy bulk. I have north of 12000 cards 😅
I play locally out in Cheney at a shop called tinker and tamp with a DM. So far it’s just us. Looking for people to join the party and play on Thursday nights 5pm to 8pm. All are welcome!
I'm a local streamer/ musician that is just trynna make it come say hi while I go after animals in woth and give y'all a couple dad jokes to spit your water out at! https://www.twitch.tv/b2quick
I’ve set up a Discord server for PvE games (e.g., Left 4 Dead, Darktide, Helldivers 2), co-op games (e.g., Baldur’s Gate 3, Borderlands), and party games (e.g., Pummel Party, Ultimate Chicken Horse, Speedrunners). I’m new to Discord and still figuring things out, so feel free to share suggestions for improvements!
Does anyone know anywhere in town that sells Bolt Action minis? Thank you!
Long time wargamer, used to do 40k back in the day until I got disgusted by GW prices. I’ve recently got the painting bug, and looking at picking up some ASOIAF mini’s to paint. Just wondering if anyone in Spokane also plays the game on a regular basis.
My gaming calendar has opened up and I'd like to meet some new people. If you're experienced or new, but are interested in playing in an ongoing game at various rotating gaming bars, keep reading!
The game would be Pathfinder v1 (preferred) or 5e. The important part is that I want to run high-level. I want to be able to use powerful monsters, create epic quests, and up the stakes. Totally willing to help run new players through character creation.
The schedule would be most Thursday or Friday evenings, meeting up around 5pm or 6pm and playing until about 10pm.
As for myself, I'm he/him, late 30's, married dad of a 5 year old. I've been gaming since my brother and I bought a Monster Manual from a church yard sale and backwards engineered the rules (incorrectly).
If interested, post below! Let me know if you'd prefer 5e or Pathfinder, Thursday or Friday, and what you'd envision as your ideal lvl16+ character.
Hey gang! I’ll be arriving in the area Nov 7.
I’ve been playing weekly with a group here in Ohio for the last two years and will really miss my regular D&D game. I’m hoping to find something similar in Spokane. Any games looking for players, or places that run regular one shots where I might be able to meet folks?
All the best.
Spogamecon 10/13/24 schedule
The Hive, 2904 E. Sprague Ave. Spokane, WA 99202
We have 4 games scheduled so far! Please tell you friends and get the in the FB group to see what is coming! Games are listed in no particular order
Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game where players are pit against each other in a battle of good and evil in the small town of Ravenswood Bluff. Players will be randomly assigned one of dozens of roles that determine whether they are a good townsfolk/outsider, or an evil minion/demon. As players fall one by one, it will be a race against time for players to gather information between each other and find out who the demon amongst them is before the town is devoured.
D&D Attention all brave adventurers! The local ruler of a town needs your help! A small keep just outside of town has been overrun by a mysterious force. Reports of lights and strange noises have been heard, but no one has been able to make contact. Your goal is simple: find and save any survivors and eliminate the threat. Are you up for the challenge?
This will be for level 6 players (I will have a selection of pre-made, if they don't want to/know how to make characters) for a party size up to 8. This is a homebrew scenario set in D&D 5e.
Warlords Pike and Shotte English Civil War
Up to 4 people will be battling it out for supremacy using 28mm Miniatures fight across a 4x8 table
The Wars that were fought during this time were based around the Parliamentarians and the Royalists support King Charles I the True King of England!
Command and Colours Seven Years War in India
This will be a huge battle across the board with everything including Elephants
This should be a great day of Gaming leading up to our big event in November!
Spogamecon Daze! Stay tuned for more!
