I have an SAI of -1500, does FAFSA help out with rent for on campus apartments the same way it does with dorms? Anyone have a similar SAI and currently live in a on campus apartment?
That is all.
Or is our geography limiting us? Any talent we have leaves, we have a small stadium we can’t fill because we are isolated. We just raise players to go somewhere bigger. I’m not even sure if there is anything we can do about it unless we physically moved pullman closer to a bigger populations lol.
Hi! I am a potential CS major and I am interested in the honors program but I am worried that there might be a lot of papers/essay writing. I am good with facts-based writing but opinion writing or writing about literature is my kryptonite. Is there a way for a tech-head who isn't the best at that kind of writing to do ok in the honors core or is is just 10 page opinion papers all the time? How much writing are we looking at on average, and how many assignments for the humanities classes? TIA.
There are YouTube channels dedicated to posting police body camera footage from Pullman and all of the videos seem to be WSU students getting caught shoplifting at Walmart. How are WSU students not aware of that if you get caught, you will forever be on YouTube?
Hello,
Myself and some fellow students are conducting a survey for English 402 on the Football Gameday experience at WSU and how it can be improved. If anyone is willing to fill out our short survey regarding improving attendance at games and improving parking at WSU it would be greatly appreciated.
Jake Dickert has announced that defensive coordinator Schmedding has been fired. I would say this should have happened about over a month ago but this should be an interesting bowl game now..
It's a joke, right?
Unbelievable. Our offense has never looked that bad all year in my opinion. Can’t believe that’s how we end the regular season. Unreal…
Had high hopes for this coaching staff after an 8-1 start and now after dropping 3 games to New Mexico, Oregon State, and Wyoming, man I think it’s time for something new. Mateer had a rough second half from what I saw and just offensive play calling in general. The defense actually stepped up and they did all that they could until the end.
Not much else to say until we found who we play for a bowl game, and honestly we don’t deserve the holiday bowl or Alamo bowl after that.
Another coug’d game to a losing team. Couldn't convert turnovers. The defensive coach has got to go. Just have to run the whole game on the outside.
At this point, we deserve what happened to the pac 12, we deserved to be left behind! If we are going to play like this, we shouldn’t be part of the big league.
Anyways, go cougs! I’m gonna go get drunk!
Edit: I’m going to hopefully watch the huskies lose, Go Ducks! (In this only instance).
It’s gameday in Pullman for the last time this year against UW (Wyoming). Let’s how out cougs, I know a lot of you are probably still home for thanksgiving break, but do your best to get to the game/watch it at home. Might be the last time we get to watch a lot of these guys play together sadly.
I’ll post the game thread shortly to have a space to talk about the game, during the game!
Go cougs!
Why would they stay? They’ve shown they can play at a high level, if another school comes calling I think everyone leaves. WSU has a fanbase that doesn’t go to games, no NIL money, an OC that is allegedly leaving, and a DC that should be fired. I think we are about to see an exodus.
Let me be the first to wish you a happy thanksgiving.
Final game of the season this Saturday. Cougs open as 18.5 point favorites but however the line has changed to 17.
Wyoming has had a rough year. 2-9 record with their two wins against (gulp) New Mexico, and Air Force. In that win versus New Mexico, their Qb Svoboda had over 340 yards passing and 3 touchdowns and won by 4 points. Wyoming also kept it close with Boise State last weekend.
In terms of statistics, Wyoming is one of the best third down defenses in the country holding opponents to just 28% conversion rating (5th), and on offense they are honestly not bad at converting on 4th (47th) and have been able to come up with points in the redzone (36th). Based on their stats they look like the way are primarily a rush first team, something to keep an eye out.
As much as I love posting these statistics just to give people an idea of what we are going into, it hasn’t mattered much these past two weeks. The Cougs’ defense (and I can’t stress this enough) needs to come out strong and not let up. I think this team desperately needed a home game to finish out the year and it will come this weekend. We need to get out of long third down situations and convert early and get in the redzone because statistically, they can’t defend in the redzone.
Thoughts? Let’s just fucking win lmao. This team could’ve easily been a 10-11 win team but what can you do. Terrible coaching the past couple weeks, need to clean it up especially if we get a solid bowl game to end the year.
I saw the history of concerts at Beasley and we used to do a lot of them with some big name people. The 90’s had Metallica, Garth Brooks, Motley Crue, etc. The 00’s had Elton John, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Weezer, etc. And even the 10’s had Snoop Dogg and Mac Miller. I know we had Yung Gravy and NLE Choppa recently but it just seems like we had more concerts and better performers in the past.
Maybe I just don’t know the logistics of concert planning but I think the school could do alright financially
