Best remote campground in the pine barrens?

Hello, i just moved to the area so i don’t know much about the rules and regulations. We are currently at bass river campground and it is too family friendly for what we are looking for. We are looking for something more remote and room to run dogs. Any good spots to recommend?

Cat groomer recommendations?

Does anyone have a trusted cat groomer that they recommend? I have a very fluffy Persian rescue who needs routine grooming (tummy shave, sanitary shave etc) to prevent matting!

We prefer a cat-only groomer but the few we’ve found so far aren’t taking new clients.

Ty!!

dysautonomia support groups

hi all! I'm nervous- my first time posting here. I'm 23F in cumberland county and am dealing a wide range of dysautonomia and other related issues. POTS, hEDS, MCAS, VS, OI, chronic fatigue, you name it I have it! Now that I'm out of college its alot harder to find people similar to me, my life, and my struggles. I've been looking online and it seems the only support groups in NJ are far north or far west in PA, which are too far for me. Im local to cumberland and gloucester county, but could tolerate about an hour commute any way if need be. Do any fellow zebras or autoimmune folks happen to know if there's local support groups that didn't make it to the Google search? Life is hard sometimes, and I'd love to complain to someone who gets it for once hehe :) any thoughts are appreciated, just reaching out!

feel free to dm if you're local/close in age and have similar struggles. life is tough when you're passing out/dying all the time, and we could all benefit from leaning on someone else every now and then :)

I'm back in town for a few days, and haven't been home since the 90s. I need a fantastic hoagie,a great pizza, and some awesome chinese takeout. Where do I go?

Looking for recommendations

Our nonprofit organization just purchased property in EHT and the house needs electrical work. I’m not sure of the details but it probably needs to be completely rewired. We’re a charity and have a strict budget to adhere to so please no high cost people! Thanks in advance.

Just a gentle reminder

Don't forget to use your vote on Nov 5th to get Jeff Van Drew out of office. He's nothing but a turncoat traitor who thought he smelled money when Trump won, but it turned out to be shit. He doesn't share our interests, and is only serving big business. Let's give him the boot.

Any MTG Players?

Good afternoon! I'm making this post with the hope of finding people who also play magic: the gathering, primarily commander/edh format. Me and a friend meet up at Top Deck Games in Cherry Hill every Saturday and would love some more people in our pod! We're open to beginners and have plenty of decks to go around!

Amma's (Indian) Maple Shade?

So, I've heard so many good things about Amma's, and learned they have a to-go only location on Rt. 73 in Maple Shade.

But when I go to the website, it's not listed as a location (only Voorhees and Philly), and the online ordering seems to only apply to Voorhess.

Is the Maple Shade location actually open? And do they not have online ordering, despite being listed as "to-go only"?

Confused.

Edit: the "contact form" on the website appears to be a mailing list signup only; it asks for your name and email and phone, but there is no field to actually enter a message to them.

Phillies/Mets

All right people. DO NOT sell your Phillies tickets to Mets fans. I know I know they are idiots and will give you triple the price. Don’t do it. That is all. Go Phils.

I have never seen a clearer image showing South Jersey versus North Jersey

Here is it: The dividing line between Phillies fans and Yankees fans. It's so crisp. Also, it shows why Central Jersey isn't real.

If you want to see for yourself, here's the full map from The New York Times: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/04/24/upshot/facebook-baseball-map.html

How much is the average water/sewer bill?

I just moved into an apartment where residents pay their water and sewage bills. I’ve never paid this kind of bill in my life and I’m very worried about how much it will be. In New York it was always included in the rent.

So for those of you who pay these fees, how much do they charge? Is it yearly? Quarterly?

Thanks!

Particularly near Washington Township, where can I find a real authentic Italian bakery that has Italian pastries not just Italian cookies or 1 sfoliagtelle.. full array of pastry.. (No Liscios or Aversa or Casica, those don’t have the quality/choices I’m seeking)

Any sports leagues for a beginner?

Like baseball, pickleball, tennis, etc? I’ve been itching to play baseball especially but I haven’t played since I was a kid and I would like to play it but I’ll probably be so ass but I’ll still have fun lmao

Do y’all see south jersey becoming more like north jersey in the future.

With the expansion of the college and overall fast development it’s starting to really remind me of the rest of the state it won’t be long until it’s one big urban sprawl from Delaware to Connecticut

Supermarket Activity

With the port strike in effect, has anyone seen any extra buying from supermarkets in South Jersey? Just checking if anyone's seen anything different in the stores.

A friend told me there was a Brazilian buffet in one of the shopping centers in Rio Grande. He said it was $24.99 for the buffet. I can't find anything online about it.

Cheapest tire shops in SJ?

Where I came from I had a tire shop who would patch a tire for $20 or give u a new one for $60 and have it installed in like 20 or less minutes. Gave them the cash and you dip. Was looking to see if there were any equivalents? I’m in maple shade. Not to opposed to a drive. I go to school in Camden so stuff should be on the way

Breweries

What's your go to? I have been pleasantly suprised with the variety in So. Jersey and will usually find a couple of tasty brews at each place I visit. My latest was Somers Point Brewery and thoroughly enjoyed all their offerings. So what's a brewery and what beer of their's is your favorite?

Can healthcare workers in NJ smoke weed?

I’ve been transitioning to the healthcare field and have been avoiding weed so I can pass a drug test. Just saw a post made earlier about cooper not testing for THC. Do any of the other major hospitals or labs test for THC anymore? Virtua, labcorp, Jefferson, quest?

That also includes, where you can purchase fall themed refreshments or any food. Preferably near Cumberland county. Maybe even if theirs a cash bar for adults.
