Especially during the time he spends as Annatar
I know Mairon/Sauron was attracted to his ability to quickly/ efficiently enact his plans but other than that, Melkor was just a big meanie jerkhead and I’m not even sure he cared about Sauron or showed him praise/approval. It didn’t seem like he was nice to anyone.
