Photos of abandoned railway infrastructure, rolling stock, buildings, stuff like that. All photos contain at least one piece of railway infrastructure still in place on a line or track that is no longer used for trains.
Let's see your photos of abandoned railway infrastructure.
Photos should be of abandoned or unused railway tracks, signals, stations, etc. and should either be unusable or is showing it's old age.
Albums welcome
This sub is for unused and abandoned railway infrastructure, it it not for stuff that is just old or historical, nor is it for railroad stuff in general. A fully restored steam locomotive in a museum does not belong here, nor do historic photos of abandoned lines from when they were still in operation. There are other subs for that.
All photos should contain at least one piece of railway infrastructure still in place from a line or track that is no longer used for trains. Usable infrastructure that has not been used in a very long time is ok too as long as it looks abandoned
Actual tracks only, no models, no renders, no drawings/paintings or any other depictions
If possible, please try to link to the direct image or rehost it (with Imgur.com for example) as this makes things a lot easier on our app-using friends. Mainly, please try to avoid sites like Flickr which require the user to click through multiple useless viewing modes just to get the actual picture.

The Hartford CT train station had 2 tracks running through it. One is in use and the other unused and rusting away. Then the rusty rails were gone! 🤔😁

The site of the Minneapolis & St Louis Railway bridge over the Minnesota River in Carver, MN. Originally built in 1871, it was rebuilt in 1917. The narrow spans and frequent river flooding caused frequent logjams and the bridge was dismantled in 2011. You can see the foundation of one of the piers lower left.
