    Donation Today

This artifact was donated to the Central Interior Railway and Forest Industry Museum today. It appears to be some sort of headlight that was powered by liquid gas. Does anyone know what it is or whst piece of equipment it was attached to?

    Great Northern Railway

Hello, I'm trying to find any pictures of locomotives that ran through to Coal Creek, BC or Fernie, BC in Canada. This will be for a headstone for my grandfather that was a Forman for one of the rail maintenance crews. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Inside 2102s cab looking across the cab from Fireman’s seat.

The wood interior is a recent addition since her most recent restoration. The old phone style radio from years ago is gone, so are the PRR cabs signals. Originally behind the Engineers seat there was a locker. The only Reading T1 with the locker is 2124 but it’s been removed from the cab and rests in her tender.

Robert Fulton's last invention was the world's first steam-powered warship, the Demologos. Built for the War of 1812, it was launched in 1815, right as the war ended. It was renamed the Fulton the First in honor of Fulton's passing.
