Honestly just wondering I keep finding old pics and wonder if there’s any left LMAO

Every year on this date I’m reminded of his bizarre answer to the Rapid City Journal’s “What Are You Thankful For?” question
We're visiting RC this week and if you want a great deal, check out On the Border restaurant! 6 stars for great tacos, drinks and service. Chix tacos were $2, shrimp tacos $4, free chips and salsa. Total bill for 3 of us $60.. Also, check out Canon Lake Park, so many geese and beautiful walk. Having a great time here, love the friendly people as well.

Evening everyone
Gonna be in town for a few weeks for work. Coming in from the west coast and was just looking for outing ideas. I understand options might be limited for the season but I’m not too picky. Anything based around outdoors, dive bars, live music scene, or even just some decent scenic areas will do. Looking forward to exploring and meeting new people.
Yall have a good night.
Howdy dudes, where have yall gone to take your own pictures? Where is a good backdrop of trees and hills?
Anywhere that currently has snow on the ground in the hills?
Not looking for a photographer, just a location.
im over by the post office, i can hear fireworks being shot off somewhere northeast i think. anyone know whats up lmao?
21M moving from California in a few months. Always been an enjoyer of the outdoors, but was wondering how the music scene was or what is going on a typical weekend. Thanks !
I’ve already got my lease signed and moving up here next weekend.
Want to try skiing and snowboarding while I get the chance, the company I’m with rarely ever takes jobs anywhere that it snows, so I’ve got a year to make the most of it on weekends that I’m off
Any tips or places to go? I’ve never done anything with the snow besides make a snowman the one time it snowed when I was growing up
Two shows at Catalyst Theater this Saturday, should be a good time!
Hello! I am having a medical procedure done in December and want to have my shit together as a “just in case”. Does anyone have recommendations a good attorney that can assist me with a will?

So I'm moving into my new apartment this weekend and need to put utilities in my name. They go through West River Electric and when I went to go look into starting service, it says I have to put in an application and pay a deposit??
I've never used their services before and Black Hills Energy was so much easier to start service with... do they really require a deposit, credit check, and a whole application? I've just never used a utility service that requires that and has a "membership"...
Anyone know what’s going on at the power station at Cambell and Elk Vale? The power keeps surging so I assume they are testing for something, is everything okay? There’s a fire truck parked outside too.
I’m curious as to where are some good rock climbing spots in the Black Hills area in general, and also does Rapid City have an indoor climbing gym or is there one nearby?
Hey r/RapidCity,
I just accepted a new position based in Rapid City and I'm absolutely astounded by the cost of housing in the area. I'm moving from Minneapolis MN and the cost of housing is insane with a fraction of the choices, so it's either a studio or find roommates.
Anyway, I'm wondering if any of you have had success finding roommates in the area and if so, what website/social media you found them through. I think I'll shoot my shot with Facebook on the rapid City housing group but the amount of HVAC solicitation makes me feel like no one even looks at that group.
I've heard of roomie.com but have no experience using it.
Any advice/feedback would be appreciated. I'm starting the job the first week of February.
Edit: it's a government job that will pay off in the long run. I'm going up in grade with another promotion after 1 year, but due to the locality pay, I'll be taking home 18% less than I currently make since rapid City does not have a specific locality increase.
Might just eat into my savings for the first year and find a cheap studio.
I also should have mentioned I have a pet.
Thanks for all the replies!
The new diner off the food court at the mall is pretty good. They serve breakfast all day and I had pancakes, eggs and hash browns. My wife had a burger. It was all very tasty and had big portions. The service was also very good. Someone else here reviewed them which is why I remembered they were there. They were not very busy so go give them some of your business if you are looking for a sit down place to eat.
I didn’t see a rule against it, but I’ve become an unexpected owner of a rabbit, and I need to find someone/somewhere who can provide it a great quality of life.
So I'm 27M currently working at Ellsworth AFB and wanted to know what you all do for fun and how you all make friends, I'm new here and was wondering what you all to make friends and what some fun things to do with it being off season i guess and getting cold!
Hey, yall. I’m 18M moving to Rapid City area next week and I was just looking to get to know some people in the area.
Edit: I’m an aspiring firefighter and I’ll be working as an electrician out in SD. I love working on cars and trucks, guns, gaming, etc. I’m an easy going guy and if you pay me in food I’ll fix your car for ya anytime.
looking for affordable body shop suggestions in the Black Hills
Hello! I’m traveling from Puerto Rico to Rapid City the week of December 10 and was wondering what to do with my Dog. Any Pet-Friendly recommendations are appreciated!
Hello! I’ve seen most apartment complexes here have a pet restriction, which I’m assuming includes size/breed. He’s a 105 pound German Shepherd who is also house broken. I’ve had him for 6 years and don’t want to rehome him, are there places here that allow large animals? Just checking some options. Thanks!
Tried fairmont diner 2 last week. Food was small portiones and very much frozen dineresq. Bland at best. The service was good or so i thought until i reviewed my card statement and my $8 tip was magically an $18 tip. This is for 2 lunches and 2 sodas. With the tip it came out to $79.54 . Thos is not sa place you want to go if youre looking for value. This is what a bill at a nicer place would be for a decent dinner. Anyhow for us fairmont diner 2 is a bust.
