I deleted my ps4 account off my PlayStation 5 not thinking I’d ever need/have to use it again.

Is there anyway to find out what email is associated with the account? I know the gamertag that’s about it

I've done everything from checking settings to restarting in safe mode to rebuilding the database. I can receive message notifications, and notifications for when certain people go online, but invitations are entirely busted. Game invitations, and party invites, if anyone could help it'd be awesome

the device is imputting on the triggers while even when i dont use it at all (also share is stuck)

So there is no controlers that Will connect to my ps4 no matter which cable I use or controller it Wong even let it charge Can somebody help?

Hey community. I am indeed very rustic and new to having a PS4. My last one was a PS2 and PSP then I became old.

So my cousin from the US sent me his preloved PS4, 1 am currently in Argentina. I don't want to mess it up and I need to know if I can directly plug it without using a transformer. I've Googled it and said that PS4 has a built-in transformer utilizing both 110v and 220v. But again, I just want to make sure that it is a plug and play situation. I also have an intelligent tension protector that I plan to use because electricity here tend to just cut off and on destroying appliances.

2nd question, can I just borrow cd games and install it and/ or also buy a game online? I thank anyone who would answer my ridiculous questions.

Hey peeps, so there may have been this posted before but I can’t seem to find anything.

I’m from England but live in California, my whole account was made in England so obviously for ps plus and even for games with dlc codes they have to be from the uk, what I want to know is why can’t I change all my account over to being American? I can change location time/date etc but not everything completely so I can add my US bank account, will it be something Sony finally sorts out one day or will it be a case of making sure when my ps plus always comes to renews to just making sure I’ve got money in my English bank account 😂

My brothers ps5 randomly freezes and lags but the thing is it doesn’t really freeze the controller becomes unresponsive for a couple of seconds I’ve tried with my controllers which ik have no issues bc I use them but it still happened like I tried on Fortnite and would spam moving side to side and then after a while it just starts moving to the opposite side for a while how can I fix it

Hello everyone :) I have a question regarding glitches on playstation. It happened to me that rarely, a game or DLC bought on PSN store would glitch out, and I resolved this by restoring licenses, or by turning off the console (or other ways). I just purchased GOW on disc and it has some DLCs and stuff on a voucher 12 digits code. I redeemed the code and got that content. My question is: do I have to keep the code in case the content glitches and i need to redeem it again? Or is it the same as a DLC purchased on PS store? If for some reason that content glitches, do I need to contact sony support in the future for solving my problem and so I have to keep the code? Or is it the same exact thing that can be resolved the same as purchased DLCs or games (so restoring license, turning off the console ecc.)?

I know for sure that purchasing a DLC and redeeming a code is the same thing, but if for some reason the code content glitches, will I fix it the same way I can fix a purchased dlc? Or i have to do something different?

i got my ps5 controller back from being repaired and the sticks replaced with halls affect and when i tried to connect it to my ps5 on the bluetooth section via the "connect" option it does nothing and even when plugged in with the original cable it only flashes yellow and wont turn on .

ive checked it on my dads ps5 aswell and its definitely the controller thats not working.

ive tried multiple solutions mentioned on here but they wont work.

For starters I am an avid gamer. But I woke up and turned on my ps5. And I hit a glitch. It drifts right. With both of my controllers. And even when I try to restart it. It plays the drift sound infinity in a loop before I even log in to my ps5. I have tried all the things and I got 2 controllers and I treat my things nice. How can can I fix this ?

I'm playing through stories untold, a throwback to the text adventures I lived on my Spectrum. One hitch is that the phone rings and nothing happens. I see pc walkthroughs and they use the keyboard to type where we so not have that feature. We rely on the L1 button but this feature isn't there when it happens. It's intended for keyboard and looks like a bug in the game.

Anyone seen a fix?

Few months ago I inserted a dvd into my ps4. Disc got stuck and i tried manually ejecting disc never came out. I plugged it back in the first time it worked. I tried manually ejecting a second time it didnt work but when i plugged it back in, the power cable made a buzz noise and my apartment had a power cut. Tried a second time and it caused another power cut. Is there a way i can get it to turn on again so i can back up my data?

Is something going on with PlayStation servers? Because every time I hop into a game it’s always lagging and freezing and my WiFi is good I’m not sure if this is a PlayStation issue or game issue or the console

As you can see in this screenshot, my account has been randomly locked out of about half of the games I have on my ps5 (standard version)

I can’t seem to find a way to gain access to the games, the ‘play game’ button has been replaced with the ‘view product’ button even though I have the games installed.

Any help to resolve this issue would be heavily appreciated :)

Have all the setting turned on (on my phone and PS5) and I still can’t hear it

I was playing dead by daylight with a mate and there was a thunderstorm I thought it was fine to continue playing during it because I usually do and it’s completely fine. But this time a lightning strike struck awfully close to my house and caused my power to flicker on and off. I had my ps5 connected with a LAN cable to my modem and it cooked my modem which wasn’t working and my ps5 was not turning on… any hope for my ps5 to get fixed 💀

So I've got this controller and it is constantly inputting up on the D-pad I've taken it apart and cleaned all the contacts on the motherboard that relate to the D-pad, X, Square, Triangle and Circle, I've taken off the rubber membrane and made sure it is clean. I've also taken out the buttons and given them a wipe off and removed any gunk that was around the buttons, I did that on both sides just while I was there (might aswell right) but even after all of that I'm still getting the phantom input of up on the D-pad. I'm just a bit lost on what to do, I'm broke and can't really afford to get another controller (it's my second one since getting the console and I treat my controllers really well) just looking for any possible fixes that anyone might know of, I've tried resetting my controller and updating it too (no updates avaliable as it was on the latest software) Any help would be appreciated, advice on troubleshooting to figure out which component could possibly be failing, thank you for reading

Hi, i bought a Samsung 990 PRO in order to expand the memory of my PS5. I didn't know that is required to buy and SSD with the heat sink, so my Samsung 990 doesn't have it. I played for a month without noticing any over heating, but now that i have discovered that an heat sink is recommended, i'm scared for my PS5 safety. I've read that i can buy a compatibile heat sink and install it on my SSD (i thought to purchase that one from Sabrent)... If i install it on my SSD, could this external heat sink solve my problems?

PlayStation account recovery has done nothing for me they keep telling me due to security reasons we can’t help the first time this happened to me they asked for card information my PlayStation serial number and proof of an purchase I got my account back that same day they made me a new email and password with 2fa and somehow 6 days later it all happened again but this time they won’t help at all.

Hey guys, for about the last month I've been having some issues with my ps5 and selectively choosing what works when online.

For example, I can play online games, use streaming services and I can download things.

However where it gets weird is I cant see anything under the ps store menu, or the ps plus menu, as both simply say something went wrong. I also cant see my friends, it just says "someone went online" and my own online status is stuck at unknown.

Furthermore if a game has to pull up a window for anything (recent example being marvel rivals on account creation) then im just S.O.L. because it just wont load.

I have done the following to various degrees of TEMPORARY success :

• turning ps5 off and on
• Router off and on
• clearing ps5 cache
• defragmenting ps5 but cant think of the right term at the moment.
• changing dns servers to the typical 8.8.8.8 and 8844
• turning off internet when in rest mode
• Tried signing out to sign back in, but most of the account options just wont load

And now Im at a loss. Each time something seems to work, it just proves otherwise a little bit later. Anything you guys can suggest would be great

So my playstation4 wont connect to my tv when i turn it on the light will be blue for a second then immediately turns white and nothing shows on the screen i tried using a different hdmi cord and still nothing even took the ps4 apart and dusted it all but still nothing and it was working perfectly fine not even 24 hours ago i just dont understand what to do or how to fix it i cant afford to just upgrade to a whole new system.

Okay so for context: i bought a cod mw2 japanese version, i made a new psn account (japanese) to play it and my controller isnt working inside of cod but it works fine on my other account (i tried all, hard reset, blow on it, smack it, connect it directly, disconnect dual shock 4 while inside game) and it isnt working, please help

it'll play a few seconds of a song before pausing but only if im on call on my phone. if im not on call it plays completely normally. i don't know why. ive logged out of both and logged back in, ive kept spotify open and it still pauses, nothing seems to work unless i end the call. why does spotify have mad beef with me calling my boyfriend i don't get it.
