I need friends lol. 24 yr old getting back into skating. I used to cruise around campus when I was in college but now I wanna actually get good. I can move around but am working on getting better
Cruising through Dallas just for the night. Anybody know of a skatepark in DFS that’s lit up until at least 9 10 pm?
Looking for good street spots with stairs, ledges, etc. in downtown dallas, ft worth, and Arlington areas. If you know any please lmk!
Asking about the well known dallas spot down the street from pearl street dart station. 15+ years ago I would skate this spot a lot. Occasionally there was security, but most of the time we skated uninterrupted, unless you woke up an angry hobo. Can you still skate there? Or have they beefed up security?
I want to find some banks, hills, anything really but I can't do any tricks yet, so stairs, ledges, and rails are above me.
ISO used skatelite or similar for outdoor skate ramp. If you know of or a contact would appreciate.
anyone know of smaller to med height ledges in Austin? I started skating in quarantine, got my 5050s,noseslides, and tailslides down on smaller curbs, and wanna try to practice on real ledges while also avoiding skateparks (still scared of crowds rn lol)
I have looked around the Pflugerville area and I haven’t found any good beginner spots, I was wondering if anyone knew any good spots?
Does anyone know if 4DWN is open right now? I really wanted to go but the riots might have prevented it...
I would really like to learn how to skate and I was wondering are there any skate shops in the Fort Worth area open during this quarantine for me to buy my first board at?
I started 2 subreddits yesterday and was hoping to have some people mod for me or want to join and be an active member of our (small) community! I have 4 members in one and 2 members in the latter. Please DM me if you are interested! The communities are r/satisfyingskating and r/skateboardingtricks
Anyone know any skate spots in the highland park/university park/ Dallas in general area?? I got a real board a few days ago and I’m just trying to cram everything into my skull
It’s been years since I have seen anything about it. I do remember seeing there was a neighborhood north of Denton that had a mini ramp in the middle of it, much like a community pool. Does anyone else know what I am talking about?
Does anyone remember a skatepark in the Waco area called Wooden Waves? It was open in the late 80s. I think it was in either Thrasher or Transworld mag but I can’t track down the issue.
James Browning a local DFW area rips Lewisville.
