Submission Rules

• Submissions must be scenic locations, landmarks, sights, attractions, or vistas of San Francisco City and County.
• Submissions must be still images, albums of still images from the same author in a theme (no vacation or collection dumps), or videos showing the great City and County of San Francisco.
• Submissions should be from an approved source (500px, deviantART, Flickr, Picasa, or Imgur) unless they are from their original source (see below). Submissions that are re-hosting images away from their original source will be removed.
• Your title should be short and descriptive.
• Please use the location of your submission in your title if you know it.
• Please put the resolution of your image in the title in [brackets] if you know it.
• Please mark your original content with [OC].
• NSFW content must be marked as [NSFW].
• If you are not the author of the image, but it is hosted at the original source please mark your submission with [OS].
• No memes, screenshots, advertisements, endorsements, or superimposed text (other than artist credit and watermark).
• Do not submit a shortened link using a URL shortener like tinyurl or bitly.
• Please submit newsworthy, editorial, and political content to one of the other Bay Area subs.
• Do not submit links from Facebook, Twitter, or other social networking sites.

Submissions that violate these rules may be removed without warning or discussion. If you should spot violations of these rules, please report the submission to a moderator.

Comment Rules

• Be polite.
• Please try to be constructive if you must be critical.
• Complaints about submission repition, cliches, or triviality may be removed by a moderator.
• Trolling, harassing, or insulting comments may be removed by a moderator.
• Comments containing personally identifying information will be removed as per Reddit policies.
