r/POTUSWatch is dedicated to following and documenting, discussing,all actions and statements of the current President of the United States and his administration (the federal executive branch). As well as countering the insane amount of misinformation. (mod log)
Our Rules
Rule 1: Address the Argument, Not the Person. Practice civility just as you would in public. Voice your opinions just as you would in public. Do not attack or harass other redditors. Do not post content that encourages, glorifies, incites, or calls for violence or physical harm against an individual or a group of people. There may be reasons to post violent content (eg newsworthy, satire, documentary), but context must be provided.
Rule 2: No Low-Effort Content.
Rule 3: Submissions
- News articles and other kinds of reporting on the actions and statements of the President and his administration.
- Direct communication (tweets, videos, official statements, etc) from the President and his administration.
- Good faith genuine questions about the actions and statements of the President and his administration.
- Meta posts about the subreddit itself.
- Articles, official government links, and CSPAN videos related to policy of involving house and senate committees
Rule 4: Submissions can be good faith editorial content that further clarifies the actions of the current administration in an attempt to provide broader context and understanding.
Rule 5: Submissions shall not be news or statements older than 30 days.
Rule 6: Submissions shall not be fake news. News articles relying on or quoting anonymous sources does not amount to "fake news."
Rule 7: Tweets or videos must be from the President his Administration or from house and senate comittees related to policy and law making.
Rule 8: In titling submissions, use the original title from submission itself. Do not editorialize or sensationalize submission titles. Submission titles should not contain all caps.
Rule 9: Keep it civil - Do not personally insult other Redditors, or post discriminatory content.
Rule 10: No Anti Vaxxers No Covid Deniers.
Appeals: If you feel that a member of the moderation team has removed a post or comment of yours in error please send us a link to your comment and an explanation of why you believe that your comment does not break the rules. A different member of the moderation team will review your appeal and decide whether to reinstate your post or comment. If your appeal is denied the moderator in charge of your appeal will message you back with the results of your appeal. Comments that seek to appeal a mod's decision in a thread will be removed at the discretion of the moderation team for off-topic discussions or subreddit meta discussions in non-meta threads.

@Potus- Big Pharma has been used to getting its way for too long – suppressing competition to keep prices high. It says it needs that extra revenue to develop cutting-edge drugs. But studies show Big Pharma lately spent more on stock buybacks and executive pay than on research.

@Potus- You shouldn’t pay the highest prices in the world for drugs that your tax dollars helped create. From now on, the part of the federal government that responds to public health emergencies will make “fair pricing” a standard part of its contract negotiations with drugmakers.

@Potus- Trickle-down economics has let Big Pharma rake in big profits for too long while millions struggled to afford the medicines they need. Not anymore. We finally beat Big Pharma when I signed the Inflation Reduction Act to get American seniors and taxpayers a better deal.
