Volume 3, let's goooooooooo! I know it'll get restocked soon but I didn't want to wait haha
This is my first manga haul and start of my collection!
It includes: Tokyo Ghoul Box Set Tokyo Ghoul RE: Box Set Death Note Box Set Berserk Vol 1 CSM Box Set
I recently listed my like-new copies of Mail vol 1 and 2 by Housui Yamazaki for sale on Pango at $30 each, knowing they’re a little hard to find, and they sold immediately. Now I’m second guessing myself, should I have held on to them? Was $30 a fair price for me to sell them at? Now that I’ve sold them, I kind of wish I hadn’t, it’s a pretty neat series, but I’m trying to clear out my shelves. (Hoping this isn’t against the rules; not trying to sell or swap anything on this post, just hoping to ease some sellers remorse lol)
Hey all!
Just moved and finally got my collection to a place I’m really happy with!
I’m looking to expand it though and I’m in need of some recommendations.
My current collection consists of:
All recommendations are much appreciated!
I'm so happy, pretty good condition for secondhand 😁
Does anybody else get extremely bothered by their manga turning yellow? I know it's a natural process that just happens over time to most manga.
Although I have had some that either aged really well, turning just slightly "off white" (and yes technically the pages are more "grey" than white, and ofc there are exceptions depending on the manga title and publisher, etc). Some have surprisingly stayed just about the same over the course of 10+ years!
How do you guys store your manga? I personally keep them away from any natural sunlight, in a cool room with low humidity, and I store them inside manga bags with oxygen absorbers inside each bag for extra measure.
Sure it doesn't look as pretty on a shelf when each volume has plastic around it, but I feel a lot better about my manga being stored in manga bags than out in the open.
My used manga that I've gotten, I tend not to care about yellowing as much, usually they've already yellowed quite a bit. Unless they're already in super good condition or rare, then I bag 'em up.
Got a little something for myself after Christmas shopping for some cousins. Of course it's all bsd cause I am making progress on the series.
