Does anyone have a physical copy of Odyssey Legend of Nemesis

Been looking for a physical copy for years and if you have one you would sell it would make my life. I know 3 are on eBay but I am collecting it for the box art so I wan it in perfect shape which is hard to find.

Baldur's Gate 3 Crashing

I've sent in a support ticket to Larian, but while I wait for a response from them I thought I'd see if anyone had any ideas.

When I have a fresh install, the game will load right up and works just fine. In the Launcher I'll just get a "Play" button. The next time I play, the launcher will have a new option. I'll still get the play button, but under it is a radio selector where I can choose "Rosetta - Intel" or "ARM64". It doesn't matter which one I choose, the game crashes immediately after clicking "Play".

Once that happens my only recourse seems to be to repair game files and get back the original launcher. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a way to use the "ARM64" option? That seems like it would be ideal anyway.

I'm glad that they ported BG3, but it's annoying that it only kind of seems to be supported.

I'm on a m4 mac mini if that matters.

Plays fine

How much storage should I leave for breathing space on my Mac?

I have a base m3 air. I want to install a few games, but with 256 GB, it's not that easy. If I install the ones I want, I'll have 10-20 gigs left. Is this a sufficient amount to keep things running smoothly, or should I just play the games one by one?

Choosing display resolution. Your thoughts? 🤔

Share your choice of display resolution for most actions on Mac (playing, working and etc) consider connecting to external monitor. I’m using odyssey ark 55 and wondering what’s better resolution to use. For now it’s 1920x1080. (the higher resolution the smaller icons on Mac)

Zenless Zone Zero stuttering on crossover 24.0.5

Hey guys, I'm running Zenless Zone Zero on crossover with D3DMetal with MSync on. I've lowered settings to medium/low and I'm playing on 1080p windowed mode, but I'm still experiencing lag/shuttering throughout fights and when walking around the city.

Is there anyway to fix this? I tried playing using Playcover but I find the button mapping really annoying and the mobile textures looking noticeably worse.

Playing on an M2 Pro chip with 16gb of ram using the macos 15.3 Beta.

Need help with 8bitDo controller and Porting Kit

Hi everyone, I’m trying to make it work. I’ve managed to add wine-loader in Input Monitoring and in Wineskin Control Panel the joystick is visible and registering interactions but not in games. Currently I’m trying to get it working with Mass Effect 2 and Skyrim SE. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Enabled Apple metal beta for LoL on new MBP M4 Max 16” and it wasn’t great

Just splurged on a new MacBook Pro 16”.

Specs: 16 core M4 Max 64gb RAM 1TB SSD 40 core GPU

Enabled metal beta for supposed performance increase in League. Performance seemed to take a huge hit—even after reducing resolution and gfx settings. Wondering what I’m doing wrong or if it’s just not the “hack” it used to be.

M2 Macbook Pro MAX - Lies of P (Steam)

I had a question regarding uncapped framerate. For a game that needs proper frame pacing would running locked 60 be better than uncapped? Does this laptop have some kind of freesync/gysync type tech? Thanks.

Battery consumptions while gaming

Hi, I just recently got a MacBook Air M3 15” and sometimes I use it to play LoL. Each game takes out 13% battery, is it normal or a bit high? Should I keep it plugged while gaming? Thanks

Running fortnight on MacBook by streaming--issues with lag?

Hello, I'm new to fortnight and to multiplayer gaming in general. I was trying to get fortnight on my MacBook. Apparently you can't download it because of the M1 chip.

So I log into Xbox cloud gaming on my web browser and pretty much steam fortnight from my browser. I'm using Safari right now. So far it runs decently, I can navigate easily fortnight with my controller and play with no real issues besides lag (I cannot play with my mouse and keyboard--it just doesn't work).

Most of the time it is ok, but I know I could play just a little better if the lag wasn't so bad. Any ways to optimize it... make it run a bit smoother? Is it even possible to attach an ethernet cable to a MacBook?

^((I know in the rules it says to post the specs of my mac but I have no idea what that is...))

Update for old bones!

Good evening to all,

I have two imacs, one from 2006 and one from 2010, and they still function perfectly well for some reason unknown to me. I'm just playing a few games like Diablo 2 on the imac 2006 and UFO:ai 2.5 on the imac 2010.

As I'll need to get a new machine some day, I wonder how to keep playing games like the ones I mentioned. I can keep the old computers of course, but is there any other viable option?

Mac gaming using Vision Pro?

It just suddenly hit me. There’s barely any lag in the stream(from the reviews I’ve seen), and it supports ultra wide. So in theory, games like Death Stranding and Cyberpunk 2077(with upcoming native port) should work with Vision Pro like a charm right?

Idk it’s just something I got really curious about suddenly.

Help - League of Legends problems…

I just moved from a Windows laptop to a M4 Pro Macbook Pro. I mainly switched for work and ecosystem reasons, and I’m happy so far.

The only game I play at the moment is LoL and I read everywhere that it was compatible and runs great. Well, I’m actually so, so disappointed and I’d like to know if some League player or Macbook expert can help me with any of these issues:

  • Mouse sensitivity: as soon as I enter a game, LoL or TFT, mouse sensitivity drops to infinitly low. Tried every in game (vertical sync, mouse sensitivity bar…) and out-of-game setting, the only thing that worked is raising DPI manually from my mouse buttons. Same goes for the scrolling speed that drops so low and can’t be fixed from the mouse itself

  • Zoom? I tried basically every resolution available in the in-game setting (everyone of them is very strange to me, used to a classic 1920x1080), and they all are more zoomed than on a Windows pc. This is a major disadvantage for the gameplay itself

  • Saturation: this is probably the less important and easier to fix (I hope), but everything looks mega saturated, without any in-game setting to fix this

  • Impossible to change settings without quitting the game: on windows I used to press ctrl+esc or ctrl+alt+canc to change settings while in-game (for example to check wi-fi, change a mouse setting and stuff like that). On mac when i try some keybord shortcut like that i instantly get pushed out of the game, and have to reconnect and see the loading screen again. Is there a way to do something else while the game is open? Maybe a keyboard shortcut or some settings like multi desktop (I’m still getting used to this stuff)

These are just the first few things that came into my mind, I wonder how people could say that League runs perfectly and is fully compatible 😭 I hope someone can tell me how to fix this so I don’t have to keep my old laptop just for League

Sorry for my English (not my main language), and thanks for your help!

Baldur’s Gate 3 M4pro vs steamdeck

I’ve heard that BG3 runs decent enough for all but act3. Considering the difficulty of running act3, should I use my MacBook Pro M4 pro or my steamdeck OLED to play BG 3. This question has been asked a few times but I haven’t seen it answered yet.

4k external monitor and scaling performance

I have a MacBook M4 Pro plugged into a 4k HP z27 external monitor. I'm playing r/PlayTheBazaar in windowed mode on my external monitor, but I don't think any of my issues here are relative to this particular game.

Problem

I normally have Displays settings for my monitor one notch left of "More space" to avoid the text being to small. This corresponds to 3360x1890 and shows the warning "Using a scaled resolution may affect performance".

  • If I run the game with these scaled settings, the window is tiny which forces me to set an extremely high resolution (3840x2160) in the game settings for it to occupy just half of my monitor surface. This takes a huge amount of resources of my Mac and makes the game terribly slow.
  • If I change my Displays settings to "More space" (native 4k resolution), the OS text becomes near unreadable, however I can run the game with good performance at 1080p.

After researching for a bit, I understanding that this may be due to MacOS scaled resolutions being rendered in a virtual buffer twice the size.

Question

Right now my workaround is to switch my Displays settings to "More space" (native 4k resolution without scaling) before launching the game, and moving it down one notch after playing, which is not ideal.

Is there a better solution to this? Can I force the window size to be of a different size regardless of the in-game resolution settings?

Thanks!
