The only fix is for me to clear my cache and resign in for nearly every service I access on the internet.
Only realised yesterday when i went to sign in on steam deck that I had put my email in wrong when I signed up missed two numbers so now can’t sign in cause it wants a code sent to an email I can’t access is there anyway around this?
Is there a way to secretly buy a game without it appearing in your libary?
Every month, we see several posts offering GOG game codes and discount codes that people do not intend to use themselves. To make this easier and more organized, we ask that you share your code(s) as top-level comments on this post.
Ex:
Game code giveaway for Game Name:
YEC8U25J3A**FEF0C3
** = 32-15
Or
Discount code giveaway for Game Name:

To be extra sure your code goes to a fellow GOG gamer and not a bot, list the game(s) you have keys for and ask Redditors to DM you to claim them. In this case, please make it very clear whether your codes are game codes or discount codes.
You're also welcome to use RedditRaffler or KeyShare.

Some of us prefer playing DOS games on real hardware using retro PCs. I love GOG for having a lot of older DOS games, but a lot of these GOG games have files added to them, such as DOSBOX, ScummVM, or GOG installation files.
My idea is if somebody made a software utility to remove "GOG" files from older DOS games. Additionally it would be great to rename long file names (LFNs) to something shorter for DOS. I know this can be done manually, but it can be tedious if you have 100+ GOG games like this.
Any wind of this game getting on to GoG?
Remember playing it and really liking it.
I ask since GoG just released Dino Crisis 1-2.
My keyboard (Wooting 60HE+) was being seen as a controller. I verified this by going to the Set up USB game controllers app on Windows 11 and could see my Xbox controller and my Wooting keyboard being listed. I switched to a different cheap Redragon keyboard I had lying around, rebooted my PC, and instantly the controller started working for me.
I then was able to go into my Wooting settings and turn off Gamepad mode, that way I won't have to switch keyboards every time I want to play TW3. I hope this helps someone!
I've been developing this particular taste for games after playing VTMB a few years back and I was starstruck by the ambience, the depth, the overall 2000s graphics, the mechanics, the music the design pretty much everything.
I started dipping into these kind of games more now that I'm a bit more financially free (And also compeltely disappointed with how most AAA games have been in the past years) and I've played games like Pathologic, Deus Ex, Thief and it's overall been a binge in this old but not-so-old 2000s era of gaming where every game had its own charm.
The 2000s where my infancy and i Remember that period fondly, I guess that playing these games is making me feel at home, back when i first discovered how technology worked and started playing games with raunchy 3D graphics on my big old CRT computer.
There are so many games i misses out on at that time and as i grew up i followed how gaming was evolving, leaving behind "old" games in a sense.
While I managed to replay the console classics as i grew up, PC gaming remained a hole in my gaming history and I want to get back to it now that I can.
So what I'm asking is, any recommendations that follow this theme? I really REALLY cannot get enough of these types of games, GOG was a life saver for me and my list has games like System shock and Morrowind on it and i want to expand it further.
I'll add any recommendations thrown my way, no matter how obscure the game is as long as it fits these criterias It'll be perfect, thanks to anyone in advance!
This is in reference to my fav game of all time No One Lives Forever 1 and 2 . We all know its in rights hell where nobody knows who have the rights. Nightdive studio is trying to revive but no updates on that front. Its like in top 5 of dreamlist . So is there any indication from past experiences that gog will actually try to get it or i should not get my hopes up.

there are so many games most iconic a few i actually wanted to buy and i saw many that i actually had and thankfully enough, nothing that would rack me with guilt (missing linux builds as a windows user for example) but how can WE help fight this with gog? make them all come back and fix their games? unlike other popular sites we cant vote with our money this time as just not buying the game is what led to this i think. is there anything we can do?
Does anyone know if the GOG version of RE2 works with mods such as Seamless HD Project or the Randomizer?
I've been wanting to play vanilla Skyrim on PC how I did a long time ago however windows XP no longer supports steam. I'm wondering if GOG ever had Skyrim (vanilla) on the store at some point if so then I do think it'll be possible for me to hunt down a offline installer somewhere on the Internet but if Skyrim was simply added to the gog store to late in the game then I would prefer to not go on a wild goose chase if I don't have to. If anyone knows I would gladly appreciate the help.
I have a slow internet connection soo I would want it to be offline and keep it so I can use it in far future, updates would be useful but I don't know how to auto-update else than Galaxy. I hope you understand it, I may not explained it in the best way soo sorry about that.
I got a new laptop (Hp onmibook x) trying to Heroes of might and magic 3 complete, and it wont work at all.
-On the newest version of gog galaxy i press play and nothing happens,
-so I got the old version of gog same thing i press play nothing happens
- next I got the damn game on ubisoft connect same thing wont launch
- so last resort i downloaded the game offline from gog without the launcher, shows me my system cant run the app
Im so confused, I tried changing administration settings, made sure onedrive was logged in etc.
I assume it has something to to with the system itself? I really have no plan of computers tbh i just wanna play homm3
a/n i got the steam version (the hd one steam doesnt have the complete version) and that works, all games from steam seem to be working smoothly
I can't seem to open up my item menu using my xbox one controller... . Any help?

Virus total for a couple of years now has been listing the GOG launcher and most of its files as malicious I was reading a few post from 2022 to 2024 where the subject is discussed in different forums and most users came to the conclusion that each of the alerts are "false positives" Today 02/01/2024 I uploaded several files .exe to virus total and most of the results after the scan were 3 to 4 marked alleged malicious files The files were .exe downloaded from the official GOG website Analyze the following games:
*Bioshock remastered *Dredge Are there really any malicious files in GoG or are they just false positives like most claim they are?
Hello gang
I own Jade Empire on steam. it doesn't run. so I bought it on GoG. however, whenever I click 'install" on GoG it installs the steam version, and therefore doesn't run.
So, how to I install the Gog version so that I can get the version that {presumably} runs?
GOG, for some reason, deleted this game from my library. I had to add it back as a non-gog game even though it is a purchase I made through GOG. I was supposed to play the new update with friends tonight, but alas I am unable to update since the game is now untethered to any platform (isn't that crazy?). Anyone ever encounter this; where a game was randomly removed from your library and GOG is telling you you never purchased it through them?
I heard from someone in a Linux subreddit that I can buy Far Cry from GOG by just putting in the CD Key from my physical copy of the game. Can I ask where that option is, because I can't find it.
Maybe I’m late to the party on this particular problem, but I bought this on GOG because I was feeling nostalgic. Now it’s a mess. Won’t even try to launch when I click it. First had it installed through galaxy, which was laggy and glitchy and not hardly working at all, it couldn’t launch the game worth a damn. So I uninstalled and installed it Manually. That just doesn’t do anything. Little blue circle by the cursor for a second, but that’s it. Google search shows that there’s clearly an issue with this game, but is there a fix? I haven’t found one yet. Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. r/ubisoft blocked my post…

Thank you.
GOG started a big thing! We can show all people how much we want your old games and want to keep them forever playable! Please vote for all old games never got any online releases, delisted on Steam or their own launchers (EA, Ubisoft, Gameforge, Battle.net, etc) and also for any console game never seen a real PC release like (Nintendo, Sony/PS, Xbox, Sega, Atari, etc) to show developers we care about accessibility and playability of all old games!
Hopefully we will get some soon on GOG as official releases!
There's more these are just the main ones I want.
How to link Amazon games(the launcher of Amazon) with gog galaxy?
I need my games on one launcher
so today i logged in on galaxy to continue downloading various games and saw that i have oblivion game of the year deluxe edition twice, and they are different as on is installed and the other isn't any chance it replaced another game?
So I saw multiple games there that don't even have a PC port. Can I add something that never had an English translation?
