People keep saying that they are great with refunds, but I've refunded two games on GOG and both times they tried to give me the run around. First time was with cyberpunk and I had to file a complaint with paypal and now with Stalker 2.
My account lists as
But my pricing is coming in as
Is there a way to fix this?
Hello,
Recently, I joined the platform and bought a few discounted games for Black Friday. However, since I play on Linux, I (expectedly) ran into some issues with some of them and wanted to return them. I really hoped that I could get that resolved sooner rather than later, but it has now been a week and I have neither heard back from support nor gotten any response if and why it would be taking so long for what supposedly shouldn't have taken more than 24 hours-- I chose to get a return to my GOG wallet.
Has anyone here ever had this experience? What should/could I do besides wait? I really wanted to exchange some of the games while the sale was on...
Hey everybody,
There is any possibilities to stop Ad vitam aeternam the sync with other laucher ?

I get Error messages when trying to connect Origin, PSN, Steam and Ubisoft. None of them work. Is there any way to fix them?
Hi, I got Wolfentsein New order on GOG but when i try to play it display on the wrong monitor. The option to select screen only detect 1 monitor. I have tried the several fixes i find online but it didn't work. I have a laptop wuth an external monitor so i can't just unplug the monitor i don't want. Do you know a solution ?
I never could get into RTS games as a kid and I see soo many on sale now. Which ones would be the most simple and least overwhelming?
I bought a bunch on sale that seemed interesting, if these are not simple than which one(s) would you recommend?
- Cossacks 1-3
- American Conquest 1&2
- Tropico 1&2
- Mob Rule
- Warcraft 1
- Dungeon Keeper 1&2
Greetings, I'm currently using Windows 11. I've been a gog account holder for nearly 15 years with over 130 games in my library. I've always tried to avoid gog galaxy in the past due to multiple problems with it over the years and lately have not revisited gog due to my gaming on other platforms. However recently I wanted to revisit some good-old-games and used gog galaxy (unfortunately) to install. Now I am getting annoying, time-consuming pop-ups of the application, request to write reviews and cloud syncing (which I do NOT want) every time I launch a game. I tried looking in galaxy app settings (where the options should be but cannot find), internet searches, and tried task manager, etc but found no successful information on how to disable these unwanted and intrusive "features".
For Windows 11 does anyone have any idea on:
In short, when I launch a game, I wish ONLY the game to launch, not to be spammed by gog galaxy -- I only want it to run invisibly in the background and update my games when necessary.
I do appreciate the admirable legacy of gog to offer, preserve, restore and update classic old games.
I do not appreciate the intrusive gog galaxy app with features that always pop-up and wish to know how to permanently have that app run and update in the background, and only get launched when I choose to launch it.
Thank you kindly for any information that can successfully address these multiple gog galaxy issues.
Was one of the first people to support GOG when it came out. As an older pc gamer. I’ve mostly used steam to this point. Being busy over this holiday I’ve only just read the news from blizzard pulling the og versions of Warcraft.
This makes me sad and it almost seems like companies are trying to punish their customers.
I am not a big spender on games outside of steam so I barely used other platforms. But after I got prime gaming on November I saw they were giving away a lot of good games on GOG so I decided to finally give this platform a chance. Honestly I'm really impressed. Epic was a huge let down so seeing so many gems here DRM free and permanently on my library was an eye opener. The experience is so simple yet smooth. Really fast server speeds and simple installation. Honestly this just might be my new favourite platform now. Only thing that makes me a little hesitant is the pricing. If GOG gets regional pricing similar to steam on a global market I'm sure a lot of gamers would switch to here. Drop a comment on why you think GOG is awesome!
So, I bought Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. Something about the order seemed a bit weird though - first I got an error message, then it worked. The old order was still in my order list, so I removed it.
However, I didn't get a confirmation mail and it took several hours for the game to appear in GOG Galaxy.
I'm a bit worried now that something's been messed up, don't know whether to wait some hours or refund the game and try it again.
What should I do?
First when I was logged in the application It keeps saiying that I was Offline, even if I was already connected to internet.
Then, I tried reinstalling GOG Galaxy, but now I can't login in! it says "Oops something went wrong"
Is something that only happen to me or everyone else?
EDIT SOLVED:
I change my DNS and GOG Galaxy actually works now!
https://youtu.be/r3BZlC1jtyw
I even went to GOG website and clicked the download button from there, which gave me an EXE file, but that only launches Galaxy and takes me to the Humans vs Orcs page. No Install, no download, no play. Nothing.
EDIT : The 2 games are not under "Owned Games" even though under Order History it shows I purchased them. Also they are under My Collection.
Basically I found some good deals on GOG and I like the application structure, never really used Steam as this is more or less my first time PC gaming.
Saw Cyberpunk on GOG and wanted to buy it but I tend to play video games on my mobile phone at night time right before bed via Xcloud and now Steam Link, does GOG have this option? Is it easy to set up? Thank you.
Hi, I just redeemed some games from Prime but they're not showing in the Galaxy program, what should I do, they're showing in the library in the web browser and in the Galaxy program but can't download them from the program.
Hear me out, I know that there is a Xbox DLC mod for the maps and the heroes. But it would be really nice if we were able to get those maps and Heroes (Kit Fisto & Asajj Ventress) natively in the game, giving players easy access to playing those maps in multiplayer. They did add in the Jabbas Palace map for BF1 2004 when it released on Steam/GOG.
The Classic Collection is pretty dead on PC and the OG BF games are now on sale for the first time since the CC was announced. More and more players are playing the OG games and I feel that it is crucial that the DLC gets added in via update (like they tried doing in February 2021).
I'm trying to install Fallout 4, which I just bought on GOG Galaxy. I also have Fallout 4 installed through Steam. I'm doing this so I can have a second instance of Fallout 4, through which to play Fallout London.
Anyway, does anyone know if this is possible? I can't seem to find any way of installing it through GOG Galaxy. There's no install button, and all I can find is a button to Link Executable. Tips or suggestions please, thanks!

I'm coming late to the game. As it were.
Including free games and things I won in online sweepstakes over the course of 10+ years, I have like 13,000 Steam games. The required play time is more than the life I have left in my husk of a person and my wife combined. It's stupid. I like options. Variety. Whatever.
I want to 'switch' to GoG for the rest of the games I buy. I recognize that I can have both, and I will - I just want the majority of my games to be on GoG, now, for obvious reasons (I at least want to be able to play the games I've bought during long periods of going offline).
This likely means that I'll re-purchase a ton, which is fine - with 13k games, I can't and don't care about most of them, anyway, and the ones I do care about are pretty cheap (and I expect will go on sale very soon if they aren't already), so I'm fine with that. Heck, I even still have some of these favorites in-box and don't need to repurchase - I'd just need to find a way to install and play them readily-enough without too much tweaking (Quest for Glory and other Sierra classics, Wing Commander, Blake Stone, Commander Keen, Deus Ex, etc, etc...).
Once upon a time, there was something that enabled us to carry over games from other platforms like Steam (in particular, I think) at a discount or for free. As far as Google tells me, this no longer exists. Fine.
To keep it brief, what are my best options - outside of setting sail - for carrying over or re-purchasing the games I have on Steam/EA/Epic/whatever, to GoG so I don't have to worry about DRM/being perpetually-online?
I just got a code for Overcooked 2 from Twitch Prime, but when I submitted the code into my account, it turned out to be a @#$%ing nightmare.
First I was met with an error. The game didn't show up in my client, but it did in my browser account. So I tried installing the game thinking it'll install on my client, but it couldn't because I had to close GOG (wut?). So I closed it, but it still kept saying I had to close it (so it was lying?).
So I restarted my computer, and then I tried installing the game only to find that it tried installing GOG even though I already had it on my PC. Basically nothing happened after that, so I went back to my download folder to try and install Overcooked 2 again (which I got from my browser), but all it does now is take me to Overcooked 2 in the GOG client, but there's no install or play button, but instead a View In Store button. So basically the game is in this weird state where I both own, and don't own the game at the same time, like they expect me to buy it despite getting a code for it.
So my only question is: WTF?!
As the title says
Hello all,
I tried redeeming a batch of codes from Amazon prime and every single one is giving me an error:
"Something went wrong
We are very, very confused. Please try again. If the problem persists please let us know.
Is anybody else getting this?
After a long time I decided to download some games and then I remembered that gog has nice feature of managing other platform games so I downloaded gog galaxy 2.0 and suddenly after login this error shows up :
I did some research and someone there advised that we can remove "GOG.com" folder from the local but in my case the app gets stuck in this form:
If anyone have any knowledge of how to resolve his error please comment and no sarcastic memes or comment please !!
(These are only our GOG codes, there is a little more)

So many LEGO games are missing on GOG that are still easily available for purchase on Steam. The LEGO games on GOG are also overpriced at all times for no reason even when on sale. Humble Bundle usually bundles like half of them for $10 numerous times throughout each year for Steam. Three of them were given away for free via Amazon Prime but why can't we have a nice bundle of them for GOG and why are there so many of them missing ? I purchased all of the TT Games ones on Steam, and I would love to do the same on GOG.
Hello GOG Community and gamers all over the world.
We have some heart-breaking news to share: Warcraft: Orcs and Humans and Warcraft II will be leaving the GOG store on December 13th, 2024.
As many of you know, at GOG, we believe that games should live forever. It’s not just about preserving them—it’s about making sure these timeless classics remain accessible, updated, and playable on modern systems. That’s exactly what the GOG Preservation Program was created for. But, even with our best efforts and dedication to game preservation, sometimes things don’t go as we’d hoped.
Seeing these masterpieces leave our store is tough, but it also serves as another reminder of why our mission at GOG is so important. With that in mind, we’ve decided to update one aspect of the GOG Preservation Program’s policy:
Going forward, even if a game is no longer available for sale on GOG, as part of the GOG Preservation Program, it will continue to be maintained and updated by us, ensuring it remains compatible with modern and future systems.
We're incredibly proud of our work on both Warcraft: Orcs and Humans and Warcraft II, bringing them back to life after decades of unavailability and introducing several improvements to ensure the best possible experience, as close to the original as possible.
Although we’ll soon no longer be able to offer these games in our store, anyone who purchased them before they were removed will still enjoy the most compatible, high-quality versions, guaranteed by the GOG Preservation Program.
And because GOG is DRM-free, you’ll have lifetime access to your Offline Installers. That means, even though these games are being delisted, you’ll still have them safely stored in your library forever, ready to play whenever you want. This is what these titles—and you as gamers—deserve.
Warcraft I & II Bundle: https://bit.ly/Warcraft_Bundle
To all of you who support our mission of preserving video game history—thank you. It’s not just about the games themselves; it’s about the journey we’ve all shared as gamers. We’re honored to continue this journey with you.
With appreciation,
The GOG Team 💜
