In an attempt to be the ultimate cousin, I’m trying to find a Steam Gift Card in Australia. Do they exist? If not, how else could I gift money for this purpose, short of them opening their account and me putting my credit card number in?
It keeps asking me to relog in
Previously, when you bought multiple games, you could select which ones you want to install from the list.
Latest UI redesign, which happened quite a while ago, REMOVED this option. Now you can either install ALL, or none. 99% of the time I would not want to install all bought games immediately, so the only option left is to hunt one by one the ones you want to install from the library later.
It has been like a year+ since this functionality was removed, and its extremely annoying that its STILL missing, with no sign of Valve returning it...
Is there any way I can transfer my save files to another account? Maybe even games? I used my wife's account for the last six years. I'm already losing my dog and cat, is there a way I can save the hundreds of dollars in games and thousands of hours of progress?
I own the Ace Attorney Trilogy on Steam but want to play from the last case. Do I need to start from the beginning to get to that point or is there any way that I would be able to use a save file from a friend who has completed the game and has all cases unlocked?
Good evening, I managed to find a blister copy in an old store (FNAC).
However, when I enter the key on steam, it tells me that it is invalid.
What can I do?
this post is a copy of my topic on the steam forum of the game, which I post here due to the low attendance of the forum
This particular game is Sleeping dogs: the definitive edition
I don't know if people feel the same. But here it is. I don't want weapon packs shown on featured and recommended tab. Thanks for listening
I recently discovered my drives are dying and I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer my games to the new drive and will the steam verifiy be able to repair and fill in the blank data?
I've been interested in trying to use these two together, but I'm not sure if that's possible. I've been trying to look through the settings if it can be enabled somehow, but so far haven't found an option for it.
This is an honest question because I don’t have knowledge in this area. Why are most great horror games made for windows and not Mac? I’ll buy some games if they’re made for Mac.
anyone have a good profile/background animated with military theme
So I was gifted Farming Simulator 22 as the Xbox disc, and i don't have it on steam. so I was wondering if I can put in a code or something from the disc case so it shows i already own the game, just not on steam. Because Farming Simulator 22 is on both steam and Xbox. Can I do something about this?
What feature(s) would you like to see coming to Steam in the coming months/years?
For instance I love that Valve has integrated soundtracks into it's own portion of the library but I would love for more support in being able to create playlists, particularly across titles, without having to use a different application to mix and match.
What's on your wishlist?
I’ve bought Steam Controller and Steam Link together a long time ago from Valve directly. While I don’t use Steam Link due to it being replaced by “Steam Link App” in the other hand Steam Controller is wonderful and I still use it for emulators
I’m using Dolphin with a custom controller layout that is done inside Steam App so nothing interferes with keyboard commands
I know that if you buy a game on steam from Ubisoft, it will be added to your Ubisoft account. But If I bought a game on Ubisoft, is there a way to add it to my steam library?
In my case I want AC Valhalla on my steam library (for the steam achievements), but I bought it directly from Ubisofts store.
Surprise me with the worst steam game cover art that makes you feel like you can sue them for emotional damages
I currently use the Nintendo Switch Pro controller to play Steam Games, but I don't really like it. I'm considering using a PS4/PS5 controller because I just like the way it feels better. Was curious on what gamepads other people used to play games on Steam.
Earlier this month I ended up claiming a halloween promotional free game called unloved. I didn't expect such a horrific cover art. It looks so odd in the middle of my clean library like a cockroach in the kitchen. It looks so bad I felt like they should have paid me instead to keep this game in my library. Worst thing: I can't even refund it so it stays in my library forever. The only thing I can do is remove it permanently from my account but knowing it is still out there somewhere in my account creeps me out. Don't you think game deveopers should at least make an effort to keep a decent enough clean cover art, like the makers of this game didn't even try. All they did is put something which looks like a screenshot of the game and on top of it they wrote the name of the game plus it looks so dirty like someone spit blood on the cover art 🤮
My TV is a Samsung Q60c, I wanted to play my games on it without having to take the computer out of the room, is there a device I can buy to play through the Steam link? At an acceptable delay? Samsung removed the Steam link app from the store and I tested an Amazon fire tv stick, but the delay is too long, making it difficult to play
I dont know it became a habit of me to just sit there and browse my library and my wishlist and my close friends wishlists and just watching the trailers and community art and screenshots of the games i have rather than playing, i still love gaming and i do play for 3-4 hours daily after my job its just that browsing period that it’s enjoyable and i think its weird , kudos to steam for the community stuff though there are really creative and funny people out there:D
My friend asked me if it was possible to convert my steam wallet funds into real money. I told him it was not possible and then he said "Then it's useless". My question is 'Is it really that important of a feature to be able to use your steam wallet funds outside of steam?'.
Thought steam was banned in china
