Come on in, have a seat! This subreddit is a warm resting place for all weary travelers who are fond of Tolkien and his works. We welcome all Tolkien related content! Grab a pint, a long pipe, and relax.
The sub is changed: I feel it in OC, I feel it in the comments, I smell it the upvotes... Much that once was OC, is lost, none now live who repost it.
Welcome to /r/lotrmemes, the place to shitpost all you want about Lord of the Rings, The hobbit, The Silmarillion and all other Tolkien related stuff. Here, we do not discriminate against memes, we accept them with open arms.

Just last night, I saw King théoden heroecly die for all his people and all the beings of middle earth.
The curtains drew closed on this masterful wonderful Art piece and unbeknownst to me the curtains drew closed to one of the best actors in cinema. The timing could not be worse, or better depending on your perspective.
The thought that king théoden was alive just last night, and that perhaps as I watched him die, he shared the same fate in our world is trully sobering. I really don't know what to say.
Expect,
HAIL THE VICTORIOUS DEAD!!!
The King is dead. Long live the King!
He was to good for us and gone to soon.
Genuinely made me cry a little ( A lot )
RIP Bernard Hill 😔
