Rules

1. Jurassic Park/World Content Only. We only take dino dung and clever girls here, so keep your unrelated content on some other island. Jurassic Park content includes everything from the movies, games, books, toys, etc. So long as your meme includes Jurassic Park-related elements, our local Dilophosaurus won't blind you with his venomous spit! Note that a meme that simply features dinosaurs, but is otherwise unrelated to Jurassic Park. The exception is during the Prehistoric Park Weekend, where posts must be flaired correctly.

2. Mark all Spoiler Content. Hey we love a good JP meme here, but with new content coming out for Jurassic World (including films, games, books, etc.) we don't want people getting blind by a spoiler like Dilo venom to the eye! So mark all your posts that include spoiler content. By frame of reference, if a film is still in theaters or a game has a plot element that may ruin the experience for others, just mark your post with a spoiler tag. We'll keep an eye out for anything remotely spoilerish. Violaters are subject to ban.

3. No Spammasaurs! Spam is an illegal species on this sub, and we don't have time for these genetic monstrosities. Spam includes multi-posts of the same content, discussion posts that are not memes (you can post that stuff over at r/JurassicPark), or just complete nonsense that doesn't belong on this sub. We hate that spamming crap! If you get caught, be prepared for some sort of ban.

4. If You Pull Up a Dinosaur's Skirt, Mark NSFW. NSFW content that is in compliance with Reddit's NSFW policy is allowed here, but just make sure it's properly marked. This includes anything that may be remotely unsuitable for children 18 years or younger, or something you would not want your grandma seeing over your shoulder. Violations will be reviewed, but if you insist on not keeping compliance, you will be met with a ban.

5. Low Effort Memes. Low effort memes are permitted, but we like OC more here. If you insist on posting a low effort meme, we cannot guarantee it won't be downvoted into extinction.

6. Posts must be memes. This is a meme sub. If your post is simply a picture of a car with the JP logo on it, gameplay-videos, a discussion, a rant (or a rant thinly disguised as a meme) etc., it does not qualify and we recommend to instead post such content either on r/JurassicPark or r/jurassicworldevo. To qualify as a meme there must be at least some attempt at humor.

7. No bait for fanwars. Do not post things that will just start endless fanwars and discussions. So, no memes where you call one movie/show bad, compare quality between movies, make fun of people for liking stuff and so on. This isn’t Star Wars, we’re here to have fun and have fun together. Also don’t post stuff that would start arguments about scientific accuracy. If you want to rant about why you love/hate feathers, go somewhere else.

8. Minimum comment karma. Posts from accounts with 0 comment karma will be automatically removed without warning. This measure is in place to combat repost bots.
