Looking for a place that sells fruits and veggies by the flat/large bag. All I’ve come across is Belfair Fruit, but have seen conflicting reviews that it’s actually not that much cheaper than a Winco. Any ideas on where to go? Willing to travel outside of Kitsap for the right bulk discount.
I have new construction going on and I wish for not one penny of my hard earned money going to trump supporters. Is anyone keeping track?
Hello!
I teach a women's self defense class once a week, Tuesdays at 715pm. It's $10/month (it was free, but the Rec Center gave us nice floors and a sweet space and the $10 they charge covers that and our insurance - I don't get paid except in occasional salsa donations).
Well it's the start of the year, and time for my annual "spread the word" campaign . I have 18 spots in the class, about half of which are full of regulars that have been with me for a while (some of these ladies have gotten REAL scary). If you or a lady you know wants to learn how to defend themselves and/or kill men with their hands, look us up!
It's not enough exercise class - we don't run laps or work out. Having said that, you will be very tired at the end of each class. It's practical application and learning, and a great community. Ages 16 - 60 (younger requires parental permission, older requires a meeting with me). No physical prerequisites aside from basic mobility.
Link attached, and thanks for checking us out.

I’m looking to take up a new hobby or some kind of class to take don’t know where to start or go. I live around Bremerton and silverdale so places around there would be good. Any info is appreciated
I’ve done many hikes around here. Many mostly just through the dense forests which is nice, but w the recent clear weather and snowy mountain tops it be nice to get a great view of the Olympics!I feel like green mountain via gold creek trail is one of the best &closest ones I can remember.
Big thank you to the tree cutting guy who popped out of his truck in the Silverdale Safeway parking lot while some guy was walking up to my window and I wasn’t paying attention to anything but my phone (with my doors unlocked). I owe you, and if you see this I really appreciate it.
Hey everyone,
I’ve got to make a run into Seattle tomorrow, do you think my bike would be ok if I left it chained up at the ferry terminal in Bremerton all day? I’ve got a pretty hefty bike chain and lock, but we all know that doesn’t really mean a lot. Thanks!
I'm looking for individual piano or keyboard lessons for an adult beginner. I live in Port Orchard so ideally someone close-ish. I googled but there are so many options, I'm hoping some of you have personal recommendations to help me narrow it down. Thanks!
I recently turned 65 and am arranging a transition from Medical Advantage with Kaiser (MA) to Original Medicare (OM) with Medigap (MG). Since Kaiser won't accept me after the transition, I want to make an appointment with a doctor who accepts OM.
I've heard from others that PCPs on the Kitsap peninsula have particularly long wait times to see new patients. I'm posting here to get information as to whether the wait times are any better in nearby counties, such as Pierce, Thurston, and South King etc.
I live (rent) fairly far north on the peninsula, so if access to doctors, whether PCPs or specialists is significantly better in Tacoma and environs than near Pousbo/Silverdale, I would seriously consider moving. One factor here is that a fatigue condition makes the drive from my location to Tacoma onerous. Hence the need for me to live reasonably close to my providers.
Come on out to Rimbert Illustration in Bremerton this Friday night for three hours of dancing!
The fun begins from 7 pm to 8 pm with a one hour Salsa lesson followed by two hours of dancing to curated music. Light refreshments will be available as well.
Only $10 in advance or $15 at the door for all 3 hours of dancing!

I have an old fishing pole that was my grandpa’s I would love to be able to use, but one of the spots it goes together at doesn’t fit right anymore. Does anyone know of a place or person who does repairs?
My wife, who’s African American, moved to Bremerton after we got married a couple years ago and has struggled to find someone in the area to do her hair. It’s kind of a pain to keep driving to Tacoma and Kent where she’s lived before and knows where to go. Is there anyone or any salons in the area that do black womens hair?
Anyone else? Their website is down as well.
My partner and I are planning to move to the area. Before the move later this year, we’re heading to the Silverdale/Bremerton/Poulsbo area to explore neighborhoods and get a feel for the vibes. I’m hoping to gather two things from the awesome r/Kitsap community:
Thanks in advance, everyone!

I’m a 24 year old guy and I’m looking for places to meet people around my age without dating apps. Any info would be helpful.
I want to take my girlfriend out for dinner this valentines day and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a good restaurant in the bremerton/silverdale/port orchard area that i could take her to? I want it to be romantic and nice and maybe a little fancy. I dont make a lot of money so budget is a bit tight but hopefully i can find something.
Has anyone heard of or been to the wax artist in kitsap mall? It’s relatively new and wondered if it was a fun spot.
Hey y'all. I just bought a home by the PO waterfront and my water smells/tastes awful. I am on city water. I've had three plumbers out and all of them say my water seems normal. One of them flushed my tankless and it didn't solve the issue.
Is it normal for the city water here to have a slightly sulfuric/metallic odor?
Is it just me or is there a severe lack in basic car maintenance and understanding. The amount of folks who drive around with their high beams on because of a burnt out headlamp, or have brake lights but no tail running lights. Or drive around at night with no headlights at all. It’s staggering to me.
Do the police not hand out repair and report fines/tickets here?
I also can’t stand everyone seems to want to own silver or grey cars here and then don’t turn their lights on in inclement weather. I can’t see you, you disappear into the fog/rain.
That’s it, rant over. Thanks for stopping by.
Howdy - I'm temporarily on Washington's Apple Health and using Coordinated Care while I navigate some tough life circumstances. In the mean time I need to find a good psychiatrist that works with those plans the list on the coordinated care site is long. Was hoping to narrow it down based on feedback. 🙏
Hey everyone, I am new to the Kingston area looking to purchase WiFi. There is a waitlist for Starlink and we were looking at Hughesnet.
Does anyone use them and what kind of speeds are you getting?
Thank you!

Hi -- does anyone have any experience with McCormick 'village' in Port Orchard, or any other subdivisions built by Lennar? The photos look great and the prices look good for western Washington, but I know the devil's in the details.
Hello everyone, I've been searching on Indeed and Ziprecruiter for some beginners jobs and have only been getting shown ones in Seattle. I'm 25 and only have basic hotel experience :(
