On HWY 3 between Kitsap Lake and Chico Way. Anyone know the source?
My sister’s car has been in Seattle in an auto shop for about a week now. We’re trying to get back to Bremerton so it can be fixed but every towing option we’ve tried has refused to tow it back. Does anyone know of any towing company that provides out of county services that’s willing to tow it back here? UPDATE: thank you all for the suggestions! we ended up paying for the U-Haul dolly since it seems like our best bet here and a hell of a lot cheaper than other options 🙂
Hello, I’m a first-time home buyer moving to Bremerton soon. I will live there a few years and then plan to rent it out until I retire in a decade and can move back into the home. I’m feeling overwhelmed with this process and not sure what factors I need to consider. I found 2 houses I like, one in Navy Yard City almost bordering Charleston and one in Enetai. I understand these areas are outside Bremerton city limits - would that pose problems I may not be aware of? Perhaps more difficult to find renters in these areas, known for flooding, additional expenses, poor access to ____, etc.? Appreciate any insight, as this is all new to me.
I want to buy a Christmas tree but have no interest in cutting one down myself, however, all the places I am finding on Google are "cut yourself" farms. Does anyone know where I can buy one pre-cut in the Bremerton/Silverdale area?
EDIT: Thanks for the advice guys I am off to buy the tree! :)

Anyone know what happened?
Drove by around 5:30-5:40pm and saw several Kitsap Sheriff and Bremerton PD vehicles (about 8 total all around the canopy and blocking the entrances seemingly surrounding a vehicle. It looked like one officer was holding a ballistic shield and another a long gun. It seemed the situation must have been over as they were mostly talking to each other and at relative ease.
Is any one in bremerton looking for baby sitters?
I am looking for close, driveable places in the Olympics to go take Christmas card pictures with the family, does anyone have any suggestions?
I would go to hurricane ridge but their website says the road is closed (and I don't know how far in the closure is)
Thanks
Classic Gorst traffic. Been standstill northbound for an hour.
Wondering if anyone can PM me with contact info for Tankworx or ex employees who might have info. Bought an NFA item over a year ago and they went under before I was able to certify my form 4. I’ve tried contacting the ATF and other local shops for months but nobody knows what happened to the crew. As it stands they’ve stolen $800 from me with no trace or way to contact them.
I was just looking out a window overlooking Port Washington Narrows, and saw a green glow in the sky traveling East to West. Didn't seem like a drone, since it was a glow instead of distinct LEDs. Did anyone else see it?
I frequently have trouble at salons with them giving me a more feminine or basic hairstyle but I’m having a hard time finding a good stylist that does more alternative hair that’s not in Seattle. I’d rather cut my own hair than take the ferry for an appointment. Any recommendations in the Kitsap area?
I’ve had this pile in my front yard for a while now because I just don’t really know where to take it, I have about 2 dumpsters worth of dirt/blackberry bushes/leaves/dog poo and it would need to be 2 separate loads, any recommendations on where to dispose of this? For a reasonable price? Or does anyone know of services where they can come pick it up themselves?
Moving to Bremerton next month to be closer to family, but they're all in the Everett area (Bremerton was the closest I could get due to budget and availability). I grew up in the Everett area, but it's been almost a decade since I left. I know it's a decently long drive regardless, but I'm wondering which route would be less annoying.
This is a picture of the Turkish Angora boys that will be joing us in January....
UberEats, DoorDash, Instakart drivers a Discord channel has been set up to prevent exploitation of drivers.
We are seeking a minimum wage and mileage reimbursement including minimum charges.
I'm new to the area, and an avid runner. I typically like to run a half marathon every Saturday, and at least another five and a ten throughout the week. Im wondering what your recommendations are for a nice loop or out and back trail system I could use to reach these distances. Also I love trail running so lmk whatever trails you know about.
My husband and I will be bringing two Turkish Angora kittens home in January. We're in the Manette area and just moved up ftom SoCal last month. Anyone have recommendations for a good vet?
Hi I'm a 14 year old in need of some money, any advice or jobs would be very much appreciated.
Coming back to Bremerton on the WallaWalla. Gorgeous moonlight!
Hey all! Year-round Bremerton cyclist here reaching out to all my automobile driving neighbors with a brief PSA regarding yielding the right-of-way at intersections.
First of all, I want to say thank you all for mostly being courteous and attentive out there while driving! I have more encounters with cars in this city where I feel seen and accommodated than encounters where I feel invisible and in danger. Cannot stress enough how nice that is.
However, there is one particular type of "seen and accommodated" encounter that actually increases my level of stress as a road user, and that is when cars yield the right-of-way to me where I have a stop sign and they do not, especially on two-lane roads. I run into this most frequently when crossing or turning on Warren/303 at 4th or 5th St, Naval between 6th and 11th, 6th St pretty much anywhere, or Burwell between Naval and Callow. No one ever stops on 11th, lol.
At these intersections, I have a stop sign or crosswalk where I expect to wait for a break in cross-traffic to cross. Frequently, while I am waiting to cross, a car will stop to allow me to cross. This is very generous and, like I said, makes me feel seen and accommodated, which is a great feeling, especially when I'm taking my kids to/from school or daycare in a bike trailer.
However, in this particular case, you are only one of three or four lanes of traffic that need to be clear for me to cross safely. Sometimes, when you stop, it blocks my view of the other lanes of traffic, and it's tough for me to know if it's actually safe for me to cross, despite your thoughtful gesture. Other drivers or road users might not notice what you're doing and blow past you through the crossing that you've yielded to me. I've actually been t-boned while a passenger in a car in exactly this scenario. If you yield the right-of-way to me at one of these crossings, I will wave for you to keep driving.
If I do so, I don't mean to be unappreciative! I just want to be super safe, especially with my kiddos on board, and the best way for me to do that is to wait until I have a clear view of an opening in traffic going both directions. It's worth it to me to wait for it, even in the rain.
Thanks for keeping an eye out for bikes and pedestrians, and see you out there!
Hey Washingtonians what’s a good mechanic shop in the Kitsap area that isn’t too expensive?
hello everyone,
i lost my ring while getting ready for work today around 1 pm in one of the kitsap mall bathrooms.
it is incredibly sentimental to me, if you have seen it or have it please let me know.
thank you so much
Could have the fucking decency to just unscrew it next time?? Fuck you, hope you needed it more than I do you POS.
Fuck you. Wtf did I do to make you feel that was necessary? Was it that I haven't moved my car for three days? My car that was parked in front of my house?? Did you mistake my car for someone else's???
I just came back from a funeral out of town. So fuck you.
Fuck you for everything that it's worth.
Hello Everyone, quick question does anyone know where I can get a value for a wedding ring or where I can sell it where I get a good offer?
I'm desperate and can't get a refill until Tuesday. I know, longshot but hell. Why not try
