日本のテレビ番組を共有する場。
/r/JTV is a place to find and share Japanese TV content and resources to easier follow Japanese TV shows regardless of where you live, and to share and find new interesting content to watch.
If you don't know any Japanese there might be occasional posts of interest here, but they can be hard to find. You will likely find more content of interest at /r/JapaneseGameShows.
/r/JTV assumes that subscribers can read and understand Japanese, so subtitled content is rare.
If you like Japanese TV and know enough Japanese to follow along, you are likely to find content of interest here.
/r/JTV is not a place to introduce Japanese TV to people who don't understand Japanese.
※ Content can be for example variety shows, comedy shows, manzai, rakugo, news, information shows, documentaries, interviews, talk shows, music shows, quiz shows, game shows, promotion for a drama/movie, sporting events, reality shows, etc..
◯ Japanese should be the only language required to understand the content.
◯ Content should be produced with the intention of airing on Japanese TV.
◯ Web content produced for a Japanese audience (by more or less professional producers) is also allowed as long as it's interesting and similar enough to TV content.
◯ Look at what other people are sharing, use your judgement, and ask if you are unsure.
◯ Subtitled content is allowed, but a raw source is preferred when possible, especially if the subtitled content is translating and covering original onscreen Japanese text.
× Avoid any dubbed or subbed content that was not originally produced for a Japanese audience.
× Avoid any non-Japanese content that was not originally produced for a Japanese audience.
× Avoid movies, drama shows, anime, concerts and music videos. These are not in scope for /r/JTV, and most of them have their own subreddits.

Anyway to stream local Okinawan television? I want to keep up with local news.
It's there any at x without the subtitles?
I've been trying to find a J drama I watched almost 10 years or so ago, it's about women/mothers that live in the same apartment building. One is very wealthy, one is a hostess, I want to say there were 4 of them but I could be wrong. And that's all I can really remember. If anyone has any idea what show that might be please let me know or give me shows that are similar? Please and thank you!!
My MujiTV subscription was up, so tried to renew a recharge code, and it linked to some payment service called sendowl that said the “product is sold out.”
Anyone have similar issues recently. Or switched to another service or app that works.
Live overseas and really want it for NHK E and some other basic channels for the kids programs. Other streaming sites I’ve found don’t seem to offer NHK E.
Any help or recommendations appreciated! Use a fire stick 4K, so looking for something that works on that.
Hiii!! Im looking for a kntv source! I try accessing the web feed with a vpn also but I get a cloudflare error when i try to create an account on all of my devices.
As in title. A good service, maybe with a trial of TS or reencode stream of AT-X live with softsub would be appreciated.
Coming to the end of my 1 month subscription. Don’t plan to extend..
Buffering takes forever. Channels load slow. The past week or so has been disastrous. Watch for 30 seconds, buffer for 5 minutes. That is if the channel loads at all.
Kansai or Kanto channels. Japan or US Servers. Very fast internet at home and no issues with anything else streaming or otherwise. This is not a “me” issue.
Looking for the next option - though honestly reading through the sub, nothing seems to be all that great…
I stbled across a video on Facebook about Quiz! Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Don, and I would just like to ask if anyone knows the name of this female Japanese celebrity?
Anyone know if KaeriTV allows you to stream on multiple devices simultaneously on the same account or do they restrict to one IP at a time?
I’m new to this website, so I’m not sure if it’s legitimate or a scam. However, I tried to watch some content, and it’s impossible to play anything because the video page is completely covered by ads.
I understand the need for ads, but the video never starts, even for a second, as the ads won’t disappear. I’ve tried several browsers, with and without an ad blocker, and persistently attempted to close or remove the ads, but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hello!
I am trying to find a way to find a stream link for Disney Channel Japan.
I heard about this channel through bumpers and clips of my favorite shows.
I got a IPTV Player on my phone.
If you have any links for Disney Channel Japan, please send them! It will be helpful!
I'm learning Japanese. I want entertaining Japanese shows (I saw clips of Yobidashi Sensei Tanaka and loved it) on my Fire TV with English subtitles. I thought this would be simple- it is not. Any help is appreciated!!
Any help appreciated. I was able to install the FOD app but any time I open it, it just prompts me to update and takes me to the app store (but I can't download the app organically since I'm American)
I’m interested in watching NHK Educational TV through IPTV from abroad. Does anyone know of any reliable sources or streams that provide access to this channel? Most of the one I found are lagging really bad.
Thank you!
Im looking for a replay for fuji tv that was on live this morning december 31, 2024 at 7am.. do you know a way for me to view that replay? I missed that segment but really want to view it. Thank you
Anyone know of any Owarai specials running for NYE this year? I used to love the Gaki No Tsukai Batsu Game, but that is definitely not running this year, so looking for something else funny to pass the time. Does anyone know of anything?
Do streaming services such as Nozomi work on 1) iOS and 2) a Smart TV? Or do they all need to be watched on a computer?
I'm looking for sites that i can watch Japanese tv shows i have tver but they don't have a lot of eps for some shows
MISAMO (from TWICE) recently made an appearance on "Gyoretsuno Dekiru Horitsu Sodanjo" but I can't seem to find a website that either has it with Eng Sub or has it at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
A friend of mine had a VHS copy of some old game shows and one of them had Japanese tourists in the US where they would have to ask someone “Where are you going?” and then follow them to wherever they were going to. The ultimate goal was to get to the finish line. I have no idea what it’s called, and I wish I could remember more about it, but it was in 1999-2001 so I don’t remember much else. Please help! Also sorry if this is the wrong sub to be posting this in….

I've tried aqstream and a few of the other well-known japanese tv sites, but since I'm learning I wouldn't mind throwing some cash for an upgrade, something with more channels preferably. What comes to mind guys?
My annual subscription to Jstarkan just expired and I'm looking to renew for another year.
I'm leaning towards KaeriTV but would love to hear your suggestions for a stable, decent quality (1080P min), 1 month playback service?
I’ve been looking high and low for some old professional wrestling (Zero-One) segments that aired on the channel SamuraiTV in the year 2002 and before, and I just can’t find a solid answer. I know my chances of finding what I want are extremely slim but I’m making this post just in case someone sees it who knows more about this than I do. The specific show I’m looking for is a SamuraiTV video package that corresponded with the Zero-One Truth Creation pay-per-view. It would’ve aired around the middle of December 2002. Having said that, any information on this helps. Thank you.
