Invincible is an Image Comics and Amazon TV series named for its superhero, "Invincible" ("Mark Grayson"). Created by writer Robert Kirkman with artists Cory Walker & Ryan Ottley. S1 & S2 are out now and S3 is on the way!

Question about the story
I’ve bought the first compendium but instead of reading it (and the other two) I just really want to know. Will Mark fight Evil mark at any stage? In the show I believe this gets hinted at

Hardcover compendiums or ultimate editions?
I wanna get rid of my soft back compendiums and get one of these
I heard ultimate collection has a lot more side goodies? What do they entail?
Those seems to be the coolest but even with a nice discount on instock trades that’s around $300 which is a hefty price. I can get the hardcover compendiums 1 and 3 right now for around $120 total which is 2/3rds of the series
Which did you collect or which do you suggest?
Also do you think the ultimate collection volumes will be in print for a long while? If hate to collect some of them and then random volumes go OOPb

Do you think they will expand this scene (Issue 46)
!Just because if Rex is going to die this season and he feels guilt about how he treated people before the lizard league fight. Do you think maybe he may be a bit more emotional over seeing Kate alive, maybe some tears some and cursing himself saying it was his fault and how sorry he is.!<
!It would make sense for him to want to try and patch things because I think after being nearly killed he doesn't want the last thing people think of him is that he was jerk to everyone.!<

What are your favourite hidden details or easter eggs in the series?
So I just read the 3 compendiums in 3 days and feel like there was so much info to take in I need to go re-read them lmao.
I laughed at his note at the end about wondering how many of us thought it would end in doom and gloom bc 100% I did. From about #90 on it started feeling like a slog to read bc my guy can't catch a BREAK. But I loved the ending & I'm so so glad it went in that direction.
What are your favourite easter eggs or hidden details you've found on a re-read?

Paralyzed Atom Eve had the worse fate in Invincible...
My girl is still alive just chilling in some horrible universe, totally paralyzed. Quite probably getting r4ped by Evil Mark every few days when he takes a break from murdering her friends and enslaving her planet.
That whole intro scene was painful to watch but this moment here was completely twisted and made me sick. Eve is such a wonderful strong willed character and Mark did her so dirty.
I still think about her and the other people he practiced on quite often. It may not be the main universe we follow but this version of her really out there suffering through this terrible fate.
Death would have been so much better. I kinda hope Mark or Robot, or someone from the main universe visits her and ends her suffering somehow.

If there was an invincible game and it had what-if stories,what alternate scenarios would you like to see?
An invincible game,whether that be a fighting game,open world(or hell,maybe a kind of mixture of both),in the future is inevitable,but whenever it does come out,I kind of hope that one thing it does is what-if scenarios.
Like for example:what if Omni man actually went through with killing mark and continued to take over earth?
Hell,they could easily have us play as some of the alternate marks and let us play through the stories of how they became evil and how they took over their earths.

How do you guys think they’re going to handle mark and eves relationship this season?
Since they’ve already deviated quite a bit from the comics on how their relationship started (ex. Mark and amber already breaking up, so they’re skipping the cheating plot line.) how will they handle it in the show, how do you guys think they’re going to develop their relationship?
