Selling the fun run and wondered if there are any fans here who would like first dibs?

The prelude came out in July 1, 2020 and the creation date of this sub is Aug 4, 2015.

What gives? Was Kirkman and/or Samnee teasing this series for years?

Did Kirkman spent 5 years creating the plot of "Fire Power" before even starting the comic?

I'm confused, whoever made this sub.... please enlighten me.

This comic book is gonna be ending soon this December.

As someone who got into the series last year in August, I expected the ongoing comic to last for years similar to the "Invincible" comic series.

I was wrong.

Man... I'm gonna miss this series.

I love the story and the characters, especially Owen and Doug.

And Wei Lun is awesome too! Pretty much the majority of the main cast are cool.

This is gonna be a bittersweet end.

Let’s talk about the latest issue!

So back in late September 2022, my brother finally started reading this comic book after I recommended it to him.

He liked it due to its compelling beginning (the Wei Lun vs. Owen fight scene)

But as he was reading, he thought that Owen and Ling Zan were a gay couple. He thought that Ling Zang is a dude. Then, he tells me that he stopped reading the comic and why he stopped.

I then tell him that Ling Zan is actually a girl. And then my brother tells me that he thought that she was a dude because she’s bald. I then tell him that the reason she’s bald is because she’s a monk.

And then he finally realized, it all started to make sense to him.

And I don’t blame him, I thought that Ling Zan was a dude too when I saw her for the first time. LOL 😂

“I would never let my wife be bald”, he said.

Haha 😂

Oh man! This guy almost stopped reading due to a misunderstanding.

Shit happens…

Is fire power over? Or when there be new season?

Title pretty much sums it up.

I’ve never been a completionist type but figured it was something fun I could do and support my LCS a bit more when the series started (and I really have been having fun with Fire Power).

It’s been a bit more of a challenge with the influx of variants this past volume. I’m hoping it doesn’t get too out of control.

That said, the most challenging issues were the two released by CVL. One of those I had to snag off eBay.

I’m hoping to eventually get a sketch card from Chris Samnee. That’d be the real icing on the cake for me.

So, anyone else? Just me?
