Wildflowers

My wife and I will be in the Tucson area late March. We want to experience the desert wildflowers. We plan a trip up Mt Lemmon. We also plan on a trip to Tombstone. Another place we plan to visit is San Xavier. Does anyone have additional suggestions for scenic loops we could drive to see the wildflowers?

134 years ago today, the Gunfight at the Blevins Cottage occurs in Holbrook, Arizona Territory

134 years ago today, September 4th, 1887, Apache County Sheriff Commodore Perry Owens confronts the stock thief and murderer Andy Cooper (Blevins) at the Blevins' cottage in Holbrook. By the time Owens walks away a few minutes later, three men, including Cooper, are dead or dying, and one is wounded. Owens is unscathed in the altercation.

"Belgian Jennie" Bauter's brothel in Jerome, circa 1900. In fact, this was only one of her places. Fires destroyed three of her buildings. Her last establishment was made of brick, and still stands in Jerome today. Jennie was murdered in the street in Gold Road in 1905, during a domestic quarrel.
