What do y'all think about new HATE SPEECH LAW? In the meantime, KCRCC had to apologize for HIS HATE SPEECH? lol What a circus! https://www.facebook.com/share/v/LeCuEAeWKcWVinLc/
Live in the Magic (Tragic) Valley and there is a fraction of the lawn signs, flags, etc. for Trump this time around. My neighbor across the street even had a giant flag planted on the lawn a few months back and took it down. Have heard that the Mormons may not be as on board this year, so that might be a cause in our neck of the woods...

Hey everyone! My name is Devyn and I'm a research assistant at Rathbone Falvey Research in Boise.
We are conducting research to learn more about the opinions of Idahoans, specifically Treasure Valley and Magic Valley residents, regarding immigration. There are no right or wrong answers; we are just looking for honest thoughts and opinions about the topic.
If you are interested in sharing your opinion, here is the link to our survey: https://www.userinterviews.com/projects/GA7HU3BFuw/apply
Thank you!
Hi everyone,
I have received my ballot for absentee voting and I want to find info on the magistrates but of course the internet is scarce and as I live abroad i am blocked from accessing some state websites. Does anyone have any info they can share on the political inclinations of these people?
Thank you all :)
Good evening fellow Idahoans. I’m trying to inform myself on prop 1 for this coming election and saw this paragraph for the rebuttal to RCV. As a registered independent am I able to vote in the republican primary or do I have to be non registered? And if prop 1 passes what would that change? Thank you
Trump won't have a photo of himself voting at his polling spot in November; Felons can't vote in Florida unless they have completed sentencing requirements in the state they were found guilty.
It's unofficiallly announced, but I heard from a friend who worked to collect signatures that ranked choice voting will be on the ballot.
If you want more choice to vote for third party candidates without throwing your vote away then make sure to spread the word to support RCV!
Did anyone get the story about Megan Blanksma loosing her position in the house? Now she lost her primary race?
While I was verifying my voter registration, I discovered that absentee ballots are allocated based on party affiliation. Which makes sense, until I reviewed this disclosure. Specifically, Republicans receive both Democrat's and Republican's ballots, whereas Democrats only receive Democrat's ballots, along with sort of a mixed bag of ballots from other parties.
I understand that this differentiation is specific to the Primary elections, but it still appears to be an unfair voting practice. One of the major parties can access ballots from both sides, while the other party/parties cannot. Could someone shed light on the rationale behind this approach? I'm genuinely curious to understand the reasoning behind it, regardless of political affiliations.
If you're an Idaho voter living abroad or know someone who is, the deadline to register to vote in the Primary Election is April 26th.
You can request your ballot here: https://www.votefromabroad.org/

Primary elections determine the frontrunners of the major parties for Federal, State and Municipal elections. They provide an opportunity to change the party leadership, among other things. In recent years, expat votes have been the deciding factor in many close elections.
