Should Alleged Former Cocaine Trafficker and Former Idaho Senator Bob Nonini Be Allowed to Run Again?

It was deeply disappointing to see Bob Nonini on the ballot on November 5th. It's time for Idahoans to demand higher standards from our politicians and hold our leaders to account for their actions, both past and present.

Drug trafficking is a federal crime with significant consequences, not only for the individuals involved but for the community at large. What is more disturbing is that Bob Nonini declared women who seek abortions should be sentenced to the death penalty.

While there is no legal barrier preventing his candidacy, the moral and ethical implications of his past activities deserve careful consideration. Do you agree?

I wonder if the people who put up these signs know California doesn't even have statewide RCV. They should really reference Alaska but I guess that doesn't fit their message

Anybody else notice enthusiasm for Trump is a fraction of what it was in 2020, or is it just my area?

Live in the Magic (Tragic) Valley and there is a fraction of the lawn signs, flags, etc. for Trump this time around. My neighbor across the street even had a giant flag planted on the lawn a few months back and took it down. Have heard that the Mormons may not be as on board this year, so that might be a cause in our neck of the woods...

Register to vote, and vote in the 2024 elections!

On November 5th, Idaho will vote not just for President, but for Congress, and for state and local offices. Register and vote so you'll have a say in what kind of country America will be!

In Idaho, you must register by October 11th if you wish to register in advance. You can register here: https://voteidaho.gov/voter-registration/

If you miss this deadline, you can also register at your polling place during early voting or on Election Day, November 5th.

##Voting in person

Idaho offers early voting from October 21st-November 1st. Find your early voting location at your County Clerk's website.

If you prefer, you can vote at your polling place on Election Day, November 5th.

When voting in person, be sure to bring an accepted form of identification.

##Voting by mail

Any voter in Idaho may choose to vote by mail. Apply for a mail ballot here.

Ballots must be received by November 5th, so mail your ballot back promptly. You can also return your ballot in person to your County Clerk's office.

If you mail your ballot, you can track it here.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hey everyone! My name is Devyn and I'm a research assistant at Rathbone Falvey Research in Boise.

We are conducting research to learn more about the opinions of Idahoans, specifically Treasure Valley and Magic Valley residents, regarding immigration. There are no right or wrong answers; we are just looking for honest thoughts and opinions about the topic.

If you are interested in sharing your opinion, here is the link to our survey: https://www.userinterviews.com/projects/GA7HU3BFuw/apply

Fourth Judicial District Court

Hi everyone,

I have received my ballot for absentee voting and I want to find info on the magistrates but of course the internet is scarce and as I live abroad i am blocked from accessing some state websites. Does anyone have any info they can share on the political inclinations of these people?

Thank you all :)

Question about Prop 1

Good evening fellow Idahoans. I’m trying to inform myself on prop 1 for this coming election and saw this paragraph for the rebuttal to RCV. As a registered independent am I able to vote in the republican primary or do I have to be non registered? And if prop 1 passes what would that change? Thank you

Felons can't vote

Trump won't have a photo of himself voting at his polling spot in November; Felons can't vote in Florida unless they have completed sentencing requirements in the state they were found guilty.

Learned that RCV is going to be on Idaho's ballot this fall!

It's unofficiallly announced, but I heard from a friend who worked to collect signatures that ranked choice voting will be on the ballot.

If you want more choice to vote for third party candidates without throwing your vote away then make sure to spread the word to support RCV!

Primary Ballot

While I was verifying my voter registration, I discovered that absentee ballots are allocated based on party affiliation. Which makes sense, until I reviewed this disclosure. Specifically, Republicans receive both Democrat's and Republican's ballots, whereas Democrats only receive Democrat's ballots, along with sort of a mixed bag of ballots from other parties.

I understand that this differentiation is specific to the Primary elections, but it still appears to be an unfair voting practice. One of the major parties can access ballots from both sides, while the other party/parties cannot. Could someone shed light on the rationale behind this approach? I'm genuinely curious to understand the reasoning behind it, regardless of political affiliations.
