Useless to say that this iconic album is the one that allowed me to know Rome. It was always in my mind since I started collecting wax. Really happy to spin one of the most coveted Hip-Hop records of the last years.
Oddisee-The Iceberg, Oddisee-The Good Fight, Bill Withers-Greatest Hits
Playing my favorite Magic album (Magic 3 goes hard too tho) that dropped on Christmas of 2021 as a best christmas present. Album signed by Nas during a concert in Vienna. Favorite songs - Speechless, 40-16 Building, Wave Gods. What's yours?
Just picked up a haul of early 2000s hip hop and r&b, this is was just to show the female greats 🥰
This album is my contender for best of the year. Anyone else feeling this one? I saw a lot of hype about it prior to the release, but it’s been kind of quiet since dropping. Red
Playing Nas' comeback/rebirth album signed by himself during a recent concert in Vienna. Love the 2024 that he did there with the autograph. Favorite songs - Stillmatic (The Intro), Got Ur Self A Gun, 2nd Childhood. What's yours?
Vinyldigital RE 2017. 180g Gatefold.
hx on the original: Lost & Found: Hip Hop Underground Soul Classics was double-disc album containing previously shelved albums Center of Attention, by InI, and The Original Baby Pa, by Deda.
Released on October 27, 2003 on BBE Records. Both albums were recorded in 1995 and produced entirely by Pete Rock, except for five overall tracks produced either by Grap Luva or Spunk Bigga. Neither album had been officially released until the compilation came out.-wiki
My collection is mostly hip hop beats and jazz. Just added this recently. Really enjoying the mix of samples and avant garde jazz influences.
I got HH4 , I need COTI 2 and 3. Hopefully he does physicals for HH5.
Playing the second classic signed by Nas during a concert in Vienna. Favorite songs - Take It In Blood, I Gave You Power, Shootouts. What's yours?
I got these in the mail today✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼. The vinyl on the bottom is Lighter Shade of Brown’s single “On a Sunday Afternoon”
Vince really loves his stark album covers. Other highlights are recent pickups of Conway’s Reject on Steroids mixtape, and a copy of Anderson Paak and the Free Nationals’ recently pressed Tiny Desk performance
Newest additions. Two different sort of masterpieces. Though there is some sort of manic energy to both albums that I enjoy.
Playing this classic signed last week in Vienna by Nas himself during a concert. Favorite songs - The World Is Yours, Memory Lane (Sittin' in da Park), Represent What's yours?
I find myself running into so many dead ends while looking for 90’s albums that are just too damn hard to find, or that the prices of these albums are astronomically high (Discogs, eBay, HHV Records/90’s Tapes). I just want to be educated on why that is. Does the artist(s) or their record labels find it not worth it? Do they feel like people won’t buy their albums if they wanted to release a nice batch of represses or reissues? I’m about 2 years into the vinyl game and I don’t know the logistics of any of this. Thanks in advance.
Power in Numbers is the third studio album by American hip hop group Jurassic 5, released on October 8, 2002 by Interscope Records.
