No distro/beast tools: We do not not support the use of tools such as UniBeast and Multibeast as well as distros such as iAtkos, Niresh, Olarila and such. The reason for this is that these tools do more damage than good as they neither teach you what you're doing and can also damage macOS itself with unneeded framework changes.
The Dortania guide provides ways to install macOS without a Mac device with macOS sourced from Apple directly.
No self-promotion: Please keep all paid services and advertisements off the subreddit. This community does not wish to be affiliated with such sources so all paid work and such should be kept private
No Mac or VM posts: Regardless of what methods were used for installing, we are a subreddit focused on PC hardware running macOS. Please keep macOS specific, virtual machines and Mac hardware posts to their respective subreddits.
Don't distribute EFIs: Do not share your EFI folders, instead point users to the subreddit's vanilla guides. If you would like to share your work, document the specific items required to build your Hackintosh that were not covered in the guide instead. Pre-baked EFI posts will be removed as they are not guaranteed to work and they spread a low-effort sentiment in the Hackintosh community.
Note: You can share your EFI in order to ask for help, but you cannot send EFIs to the requester as a way of helping.

Alpha/Beta Software releases are unsupported: Because alpha/beta software is full of bugs, supporting beta software makes it difficult to troubleshoot issues. Please avoid posting about beta software help until it has reached GM.
Success posts of these softwares are welcomed with proper documentation and [IT BOOTS! (WIP)] flair. Help and question posts will be removed.

What is a Hackintosh?
A Hackintosh is a non-Apple computer that runs macOS.
macOS INSTALLERS NOTE: This sub is dedicated to legally obtained copies of macOS. Please do not ask, or post, about things like iAtkos, Niresh, or any other modified macOS installer that may have malicious code in it!
Pre-Built EFI NOTE: We provide minimal to no support for Pre-Built EFIs from GitHub, Hackintosher and such due to generally being heavily outdated, poorly made and users not knowing what their hackintoshes are doing. You may still ask for help but please be prepared to remake your EFI from scratch following the OpenCore Vanilla Guide
UniBeast and Multibeast NOTE: Unfortunately we do not support the use of beast tools due to being closed sourced, can modify MacOS files and users generally not know what these tools are doing(more info here). You will be requested to restart your installation following the OpenCore Vanilla guide to properly learn hackintoshing or face public humiliation and be stuck with your broken Hackintosh
Check out the brand-new FAQ! Don't ask before you read it fully, twice.
Make sure you post your Hackintosh's specifications when you ask questions. (Posting guidelines in the FAQ or further down the sidebar)

Hi, Recently, I wanted to try installing Mac OS Sequoia on a Lenovo AMD.
Specifications: CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3250U GPU: AMD Radeon Graphics RAM: 8 GB
Do you think I can install it, or is it not supported?
I have installed Ryzentosh on my computer and want my WiFi adapter to work on 15.1. But the latest driver version is only for 10.15 Catalina. Do you know any ways to make it work?

Hello,
ASUS VivoBook X507UF
CPU: Intel Core i7-8550U
RAM: 16GB DDR4
Wifi+BT: Intel AC-8265
SSD: 256GB
I installed macOS Ventura using this OC EFI and it works great using Airportltlwm. I recently updated to Sonoma but USB and Wifi died with the update so I had to reinstall everything from zero. I want to update it to Sonoma or Sequoia, but I don´t know what kexts must be updated or replaced to make it work.
Thanks!
Does anybody have an idea of why I’m getting stuck here?

Hi all,
I've been on this journey with my two laptops (Lenovo W530 and Fujitsu 729u Lifebook) for some time now, starting with High-Sierra and Catalina (W530) before jumpiing to Ventura (Fujitsu) and the BT mice always worked on both.
On both tese machine, i run Intel AX210 wifi+BT (of course, on the W530 its one of those mpcie/210 cards that you can get from Amazon, etc). On the Fujitsu its the "real" m.2 210 card.
I upgraded the W530 to Sonoma and BT still works nicely. When i did the same on the Fujitsu, BT failed to connect (but it could detect the mouse).
This evening i took the Fujitsu up to Sequioa and BT is still not working (i'm on the latest kexts from acidanthera, etc). I don't really dare yet to take the W530 up to the latest as it is working rather nicely on Sonoma (but maybe one of these days i will...).
Of course, i read about other persons having this exact same issue with Sonoma/Sequioa and BT and i see that some ppl have had success installing forks of the BT kexts (i've tried lots of them - makes no difference).
And so, i maybe asking a daft question here of course, but is there a way that has prooven more successful than any other way to get BT workig on hacks... and what might that be?
So after days of struggling. I successfully installed Ventura on my t460s (i7-6600U) So far most of things works (wifi, bluetooth, trackpad, hotkeys, audio, ethernet) However, i tried to add touchscreen kexts from simpercicchiani's github and boot the system, after i type the password, the laptop hangs on the picture above!
Hi everyone! I will try to attach logs and config.plist when I can, I'm writing in a hurry.
After selecting the flash drive, it gets stuck on the same screen.
I ran Sierra on this laptop a couple years ago (10.12) on Clover and it was a success (almost everything worked except the SD reader and it ran many times faster than its native Windows 7).
did everything according to dortania guide troubleshooting doesn't help, but I think I built the EFI/config.plist incorrectly. I would also like to know if High Sierra with hardware acceleration is even possible on this device.
I will try to attach the necessary files as soon as possible

I'm trying to install sonoma on Dell inspiron 3593 And when i tried to boot it with bootsble usb which i created by balena or rufus both(seprate times) I'm not able to see usb in bios boot option.
I have tried several times with diff ISO file, also i have tried with windows media creation tool it's working fine but with macos iso it just doesn't shows up in bios boot option.
Hi everyone,
I'm having issues with my Hackintosh after an OpenCore update. Here’s the situation:
After updating OpenCore, I started experiencing login problems. I get to the login screen with my username, enter my password, and then it freezes with a spinning wheel. Sometimes it manages to boot, but most times it doesn’t. I haven’t been able to pinpoint a pattern.
A few things I've noticed:
Here’s my setup:
I can access the recovery partition and confirm that my user account seems intact. However, when I try to mount the EFI partitions from Terminal in recovery mode, I’m unable to access the files in the EFI directory.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Any suggestions on what steps to try next would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Its been a bit since I've used Hackintosh I'm using VMware Pro 17.6.1 build-24319023.
Where can I get the most stable / latest running version?

I would like to install on my intel nuc seqoia or ventura but I don't know which guide to choose, I once did a random one and it worked but only with usb. I always have a problem with configuring opencore and EFI. I would need a good guide for INTEL NUC 8i3BEK. Please help. I tried to do tonymacx86 but opencore doesn't want to turn on when I boot usb. Maybe I should change plan: Which the simplest way to install it? Maybe first macos and after windows
Might be reposted due to lack of details so there it is. Had to playing around with several pre-config EFI folders and then installing MacOS High Sierra because this is the version that Nvidia Pascal GPU are acceptable. Realtek LAN device is working and audio also working as well. Also, had to dual-boot with Windows 11 which installed on HDD (not SSD) for configuring the Hackintosh in case something wrong happened.
I'm also have made my old Macbook Pro 13' 2009 model to boot MacOS Monterey so this will be posted later on.
Here are my specs:
What working: Mostly of devices
What broken:
SD Card reader
Wifi/Bluetooth
Hey,
I managed to get my Hac setup with ease but I'm having an issue with the AMD drivers, ,y specs are as follows:
CPU: i3-9100F (Being replaced by i7-9700)
GPU: AMD Vega 56
Memory: 16GB
The issue I'm having is when connecting to my machine using Parsec, I get an error that the host system is only sending audio and not video. When I connect using regular VNC connections through screen sharing, everything works correctly.
I've not really found any solutions online besides the standard "reinstall and update drivers" both of which aren't applicable to Mac.
Has anyone successfully got Parsec to work on their hackintosh that can give a little guidance?
Is there any way to enable it? Spoof or Native?
specs if needed:
Hi guys,
In the last few days, I've been encountering the B0 error as soon as I turn on my PC.
I'm using Ventura as the operating system.
Something very strange happens: for example, if I turn on the PC for the first time during the day, I get the B0 error. If I disconnect the RAM sticks, even just one, and reconnect it randomly, it works.
Then, if I turn off the PC for a few minutes and turn it back on, it works, but if I wait for a few hours, I need to repeat the process again to avoid the B0 error.
What could be causing this?
I tried isolating one RAM stick at a time for days, but it happens with all of them. Sometimes, it was enough to turn the PC on horizontally instead of vertically.
Can anyone help me?
I have the latest version of macos on my hackintosh. When installing a Fenvi t919 card will Airdrop work?
I also own a Z590 Aorus motherboard.
Thanks.
Hi hackintoshers, been using ryzentosh for the past two weeks. Is it required to patch adobe apps or other apps that caused stability issues in past (discord, matlab etc..,). And how is ur stability ?
I'm mainly using it for full stack development (flutter, react, django springboot)
Specs CPU : 5700X GPU : RX 6650XT RAM : 16Gb
TIA
I chose to post in this subreddit because the clover bootloader doesn't have it's own subreddit.
I have a wyse 3040 and want to run windows XP on it. sadly I have been cursed with a thinOS one with no CSM.
On the builtin emmc I have installed chromeOS flex, and I wish to keep it as an option.
On a 32gb usb3 drive constantly plugged in the front, i have a half-gig clover partition and the rest is empty space for windows XP to install on.
I want to choose between chromeOS and XP with a boot menu whenever the USB is plugged in.
I have set the usb above the emmc in the boot priority and I have a physical (burned) XP install disk.
I have built cloverleaf with the macOS ./buildme script and copied it over.
I can see the usb as bootable, but booting from it gives me a black screen. this screen turns off instantly.
Do I need to change my config.plist? help?
this took awhile to get working but i had amazing luck
so i wanted to make a hackintosh eariler and the thought hit my mind about maybe some how getting the 1060 or any 10 series card to work on anything above high sierra so i went and thought i'd try ventura. i did my reserch and only saw 2-3 posts about it ''maybe being possiable'' and in the comments some saying unless they show how they did it. its fake... so i went and tried and by using open core legacy patcher's post install/root patches + some simple boot flags telling macos to use the nvidia drivers it worked instantly. with full acceleration. however there is really only one issue that can be a, no go for others or some might just not care.
as it was never supported above high sierra offically there is no metal support for it 'as of yet' so some things do not work
including what i've seen is just right now gb and imovie other wise i was able to get this fully working with the help of a friend. tried a few games on macos and was able to get up to 500+ fps in minecraft and without proper acceleration that would not be possiable
so what you need is
open core legacy patcher
a 10 serie's gpu or 7 series depending on'
some custom bootflags
and thats legit all there is too it. thank god for open core
