Have something in my head that I hope will be able to draw it out. Godzilla being in a snow, coming out of the ground. Staring down at the humans. Hopefully I can get it right. Had to look up how to draw Godzilla to help get it right due me struggling to draw him.
NO YOUR AMERICAN DAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!
I am looking for a very specific type of godzilla fan films, they must have good cinematography and actual destruction kind of like GODZILLA: The oxygen destroyer by DEER MAN Studios on Youtube, Also no monsterverse and not talking monsters, also I already know about APEX. It would be preferible if they are scary.
If we ever do get a new smash game or new platform fighter what video game Kaiju game and what characters would you have in the roster
Man, these bring back memories of Trendmasters' micro playsets. I had both Mechagodzillas, Spacegodzilla, King Ghidorah, and Rodan.
Cool, but way overpriced for me.
It's no secret I'm obsessed with these movies, lol. They're not very good, but they had the potential to be absolutely legendary. So, allow me to try to rewrite them, to see if I can live up to the potential. Disclaimer I am not a professional writer, and I have no idea what a budget is.
Planet of the Monsters: this movie is honestly relatively fine, in my eyes. Just a few changes of things I didn't personally like. For example, there's a scene where Galu-Gu and Metphies are talking, and not so subtly say they both wanted to take over the world. It's incredibly clunky, so here's my take on it
Metphies: and if you had achieved victory? What would you have done with Mechagodzilla after the war? Galu-Gu: what about you? What is your religion's doctrines? A brief silence Metphies: well, I suppose none of our wishes matter now Galu-Gu: yeah… we're all united, in a shared defeat.
The scene of drones surveying the earth should have visuals, and we get to see corpses of kaijus, in reference to the Monster Apocalypse book. Although Godzilla isn't seen before the drone is destroyed. I'm also going to change the time frame from 20,000 years to intentionally ambiguous. Just that a long time has passed. Also, the Godzilla in the movie will look more plant like. I wanted to say it was biollante, but that's too far into fan service, lol. They destroy it, the professor notes that it's changes are strange, and don't match typical evolutionary patterns. Then Godzilla Earth rises from the ground, kicks their asses, and the movie ends.
City on the Edge of Battle: the movie starts with Haruo being tended to by the houtoa. It's revealed that the houtoa can understand and speak human languages, but accented heavily. After meeting with the others, and exploring the Houtoa cave, Haruo finds graves for his parents. It was revealed in the books that they survived, and participated in relocating the mothra egg to Japan, so this makes sense in my head.
I want the interim parts before the battle with Godzilla to have a friendship brew between Haruo, Yuko, and Belu-Be. Give this movie some actual characters. The movie works largely the same until Godzilla starts to go Burning. Instead of just turning himself and the other Bilusaludo into nano metal, Galu-Gu also transforms Mechagodzilla City into a massive monster to battle Godzilla Earth. And show us people getting turned into nano metal, like was mentioned in Planet Eater. Anyway, when Galu-Gu tells the humans and Belu-Be to turn into metal and divebomb Godzilla, Belu-Be is about to, but hesitates when he hears Yuko's agony. When Haruo confronts Galu-Gu, Belu-Be is conflicted, but eventually sides with Haruo, having grown to view him as a close comrade. They kill Galu-Gu, and Godzilla finally destroys Mechagodzilla City, but Yuko is left comatose, Haruo and Belu-Be mourning the loss of a friend
Planet Eater: this one will get controversial, as I'm either not changing much, or changing a lot. I'm okay with a lot of the movie leading up to Ghidorah. But, while Ghidorah is manhandling Godzilla, and Haruo is being seduced by Metphies (seriously, so much gay tension) Maina and Professor Lazzari call upon mothra, and the actually hatches from the egg. The newly born mothra attacks Ghidorah, her brilliant light stunning the watching Metphies, causing Ghidorah to lose his intangibility for a moment, and drop Godzilla. This allows Lazzari to talk to Haruo, telling him what Ghidorah's gimmick is. Haruo concludes that Metphies is doing it. Instead of just breaking Metphies' eye, they engage in a fist fight. Because this movie isn't dumb enough, lol. But, this allows mothra and Godzilla to fight Ghidorah, having a giant Kaiju battle. Eventually, Haruo beats Metphies, shatters his eye, allowing Godzilla and Mothra to finish off Ghidorah.
This is probably the controversial part. The ending. It starts the same, with Lazzari talking about the nano metal, Haruo going to Yuko's chamber, and talking to Miana. However, we never see him actually take the vulture to Godzilla. He looks at Yuko, looks at Miana, and clenches his fists. The movie ends there, leaving his decision ambiguous.
My son, under 10, loves Godzilla. He’s seen all the recent Godzilla/Kong movies, and a few classics. Has several vinyl figures and funko pops, keychain kind of things, and two different Godzilla Halloween costumes. Any other things you have, or know about, that you think a younger Godzilla fan would like? Thanks for any help

I'm looking for a way to purchase this watch in the tweet but haven't had any luck finding it with the link provided. Could any one help?
Title
Does anyone know if this double feature of the last two Heisei movies has the Japanese audio with English subtitles? For some reason, Amazon doesn’t have them in Japanese.
Thanks, G-Fans!
One of my favorite Godzilla movies, and for this exact reason.
Decided to ask now, while we got fresh attention on the new announcement, so anyways:
I was pleasantly surprised when they showed, straight up, "yes, we were allied with the fucking nazis," in context, in Japanese media, let alone in a film that'd be so front and center in international media. Usually, you may see an allusion or a gag, like the nazi in Jojo, knockoff Hitlers in, say, Bionic Commando, or Shin Megami Tensei/Persona, and I think he was in Full Metal Alchemist, Dragon Ball GT, & I'm sure many more.
Concerning Minus One, I like to read is as Toho saying "Yeah, that was a mistake." Cuz on a few WWII/Hiroshima documentaries and stuff online, in the comments section (I know, I know, bear with me) I do sometimes see what I loosely call "Imperialist Apologists," often saying similar lines to what the wannabe Confederate MAGA types bullshit about (racist dog whistles, apologetics and denialism, ect). I often ask them about what they know about Hitler's racial plans if the won, if they can 'tell the difference' between, say, an "aryan" and a jew, if they thought they'd qualify as "aryan," and to finish: "You were allied with Hitler. What was the plan?"
To get to my question: I was curious as to any other movies and medias where the studio called out how Imperial Japan was, in fact, allied with a bunch of assholes?
I am arguing with someone about this and he makes this claim, but nothing, not even the movie itself, says Godzilla Filius did this. Am I missing something a director said?
I decided to re-watch GVK since it's been months since I watched it and thought it was really good, here are my thoughts.
The Plota were good and done well but it's not mindblowing but it overall has a good but simple plots. I didn't think it was disjointed or filled with too many different plots like there is only a Plot A and B and I thought they executed the plot pretty well al though but it's nothing special and very simple7.5/10.
The Characters, I am mixed on the characters because the Kong Human characters are really interesting, Jia and Kongs Chemistry is super heart-warming. (But that's just me thinking that a good majority of the Kong Human Characters are better than 75% of the Godzilla Human characters)
But on the other hand the Godzilla Human characters are just mid, they're not poorly written or do poor deciscions they're just ok, they someones do some cheesy/corny jokes but I don't think that devestates the quality, they're again just cogs to progress through the story like 75% of Godzilla Human characters and nothing really anything bad or special. I do have a problem with the villains, the villains almost had no presence and are completely wasted even though they had so much potential within the 2nd act of the movie, only showing up at the beginning and at the very end. 6/10
The Monsters, I really love how they potrayed the monsters in this movie, Godzilla even with a lot less screen time felt like a genuine threat against Kong and humanity, for example when he appeared in Florida or was fighting Kong in both Tasman Sea and Hong Kong, Also when Godzilla used his beam to dig through the Hollow Earth that was amazing.
And for Kong, another hot take is that I firmly believe that Kong as a character is more well written and has way more depth than any Godzilla incarnations have ever been, but besides that I thought they did Kong incredibly well within the Movie. My only problem is that Mecha-Godzilla almost had Zero build up within the Movie it felt like he just appeared out of nowhere. 8.5/10
The Pacing, there's not a ton of things I could say about the pacing other that it's done well but nothing special. 7/10
Tone: I don't see how this movie is really considered completely silly this movie sometimes was pretty serious, even if there are some comic relief especially on plot b, but I do enjoy the tone of it 6.5/10
The other stuff Visually the film is absolute eye candy they did the CGI so incredibly well most of the time even if they're some things that look off. 9.5/10
The Fights, they fights are absolutely amazing Hong Kong and Tasman sea till this day are the best Kaiju Fights ever the only reason why it isn't a 10/10 is because the fight between Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla and Godzilla and Kong against MechaGodzilla was somewhat underwhelming but still great. 9.5/10
The Soundtrack is just ok there are some tracks that I liked like Godzilla's Theme, Mega, Tasman Sea but overall it's a massive downgrade to Kotm 5.5/10
Overall I really liked this movie it's an 8.5/10 for me if thats a hot take or not. I don't know if it's too high or not.
(Side Note: I've seen a ton of divisive opinions on GVK and I gotta say I don't really understand or see the intense hate for it, not like saying it's not a good movie but saying that it's apparently one of the worst films in the Godzilla Franchiss even though the movie is receivied well, I'm not saying the movie is absolute perfection and people are wrong it's just that I'm confused because I didn't think the film was that bad or the problems were enough to completely make it horrible)
On October 29, officers from Miyagi Prefectural Police Headquarters and Tome Police Station arrested three men on suspicion of violating copyright law. CODA says the men are suspected of transcribing the details of two or more films and then reusing that content without obtaining permission from rightsholders.
Between January 2023 and February 2024, the men transcribed detailed information about the entire story, including the names of characters, lines, actions, scenes, and scene developments depicted in the film Godzilla 1.0,” CODA reveals.
