How does it compare with the 1st ever Skull Island?
What if the crew and Jack failed to even reach Ann again? If it was just her and Kong. Crazy question but in the monsterverse, it happened in a way different way with a male and different story which was still cool. If she also got rescued in a similar way.
There’s 2 extras that require an internet code. Does anyone know what they were? I can’t find them online anywhere.
It's been over two years since it was announced, and we haven't heard a peep.
Kong has some fun with the v rex while kicking its ass.
!In the middle of the movie, there’s a scene where Kong fights a group of dinosaurs with just one arm because he’s using the other to keep Ann safe. That’s why the title has ‘single-handedly’ to it.!<
I'm collecting these old big monster movies and I was on the fence about this one.
I imagine that most of us aren’t too keen on the idea of yet another remake of the original (1, because 2005 is probably as good as it’s going to get, and 2, it would just be getting stale at that point), so what would you want to see if we got another Kong film that isn’t connected to the MonsterVerse?
Here’s some of my ideas.
A tamer Skull Island: Not too tame, like the dinosaurs and stuff aren’t gonna be pushed around and petted, but I just don’t want them to be vicious, bloodthirsty, evil monsters that try to eat humans the moment an opportunity presents itself. Dinosaurs were animals, I’d like to see a movie treat them as such.
People trying to exploit animals other than Kong: Come on, you have a choice of capturing living dinosaurs and you’re going to choose the oversized gorilla? I get it, Kong is cool, but you can’t convince me that there wouldn’t be more people lined up to see a living Brontosaurus over ‘monke but bigg’, a greedy person would realize that and try to exploit it. Even better, have the human antagonist try to exploit all of Skull Island’s creatures, including Kong.
Anyway, that’s just my take on it, what would you guys like to see?
Back in 2005, I got my first cellphone. Cheap Virgin Mobile phone. I bought a few ringtones, two of which were official King Kong ringtones. One was a Love theme, I think, but totally different from the James Newton Howard score. I cannot find this ringtone now due to it being the most disposable media imaginable, but I’ve wondered if it was an interpretation of Howard Shore’s rejected score.
Anyone else have info on this? It’s been driving me crazy for years.
