The Eversense E3 (180 days) sensor was getting to marked in USA early 2022 and the same summer we got it approved also for use in Europe. The first countries that started implanting with it in Europe were Germany, Italy, Spain, Andorra, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Norway and Sweden.
I enrolled to try it out as part of clinical study so tried it fully free over a 9 months period. But how has it really gone since then? We do not yet have the Eversense 365 model in Europe and I have not yet seen the Eversense being offered at same FOC conditions at the Endo clinic here, as e.g. Medtronic, Abbott or Dexcom sensors.
So just wondering if it is the financing of it that is still holding this back from getting more utilized or what more aspects of this venture that still needs more attention/work before being more available to many?
Any of you who knows if all users going forward now by default will be getting the latest Eversense 365 model or will some still remain with the E3 model offering the 180 days?
