Bounty Hunters (PvP and PvE):

We have a contract system for players seeking aid in various legal activities to offer. These activities include but are certainly not limited to traders seeking protection from greedy pirates, one of our allied Powers seeking bounty vouchers for a select faction, and even an allied squadron placing a bounty on an infamous commander guilty of various crimes. These contracts can be negotiated and accepted by 1-3 commanders.

We will also host community events where participants could need protection and those who provide that protection will be rewarded.

Explorers and Xenobiologists:

We are looking for explorers and xenobiologists to help uncover the mysteries of the Guardian race as well as expand on the technological secrets they hold. With this research, we aim to create new hybrid modules, weapons to better defend humanity, and hybrid ships to traverse this vast galaxy with.

Simultaneously, we are on a Witch Hunt. With rumors of Salvation transferring his consciousness to a guardian device, we are investigating any leads in the hopes of bringing him to justice for his crimes against humanity and thargoids.

Defenders of Humanity (AXIN, XSTF, AEGIS, IDA):

Salvation’s hubris has brought the thargoids to the Bubble and now peace is no longer an option. Our goal is to protect humanity, rescuing those trapped in the Titans and expelling thargoids from the Bubble.

Are you guys a part of or know of any discord communities where pilots like us can offer our expertise up for hire? Recently fallen on hard times and am looking for work so my children won't go hungry another day. Preferably a community that doesn't want you to join their squadron in order to participate, cause I already got a couple letters next to my name I'm not looking to change. Simple escorts for miners or traders is fine. More bounty hunting communities preferred, but I'm not picky. Just trying to find a fun community to RP as a hired gun while helping keep other commanders safe during their own preferred activities.

I know I can always go to CG systems, or find out where the hot mining locations or current PTN stuff is going down, but a lot of people don't show up there in open. This is more about finding a cool community to have fun with.

Alternatively, wondering if the members of this sub are at all interested in starting a discord (I've never seen one linked anywhere). Maybe there is enough interest in starting a service similar to the fuel rats or hull seals but for security 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have a mk3 kitted for bounty hunting that I love. Now I recently accepted that the mk4 isn't as terrible as reddit made me believe. But why would I choose to fly it over my beloved mk3? It's slower and less less maneuverable. Maybe it's only virtue I can see is it has more internals so can be tankier/fit more utilities. Plus it looks slightly cooler imo.

Are there any groups for bounty hunting? Just looking for people to hunt with.

Simple. I go out on foot, commit crimes against humanity in a few settlements and stack a giant bounty by doing the same in space and then i get in a Sidewinder and give myself out for grabs. It's basically a free money generator.

Hi I am new to fixed weapons and recently got APAs. I tried running a Mamba with 2 frags, 2 APAs ang 1 Beam but even with TV It's was running too hot. So what builds do you guys run? I prefer shields and hull but lean more towards hull since I don't have prismatics If you want to post a link, I prefer Coriolis Thanks in advance! Hello! I've been engeniering my chieftain (which has been giving my much fun playing with) and I think I may have made some mistakes with my armor...

I'm still to finish the lasers engineering and the shield boosters (the build that follows has the end result desired for the boosters)

Should I reengineer my armor/hull reenforcements?

I know with carriers you have to take a very active role to make money but why dont NPCs that land pay any refuel/rearm tax/fee like the CMDRs do? I am not saying you have to make tons of cash but some credits would do some good and add to realism - could hinge it on active sessions(CMDR would need to me online) and system population.

Does the bounty turn in bonus from ALD, and Yuri apply to you turning in your claims on your carrier if its in their system?

Secondly, does the 20% bounty payout (for controlled systems) stack with her payout bonus for being a certain rating as a pledge?

I have couple of questions.

Kill Warrant Scans; is it worth to scan npc pirates ? Or the ones generated are only local thugs?

Do you use the FSD scanner to track a target?; range is so short and once I get to there system destination, then what ? Is there no way to realy track a target or tail them ?

UpLink scanner; the one to scan all modules of a ship. Let's say I target the thrusters, I will have a Hitpoint gauge of the part. Will my gimbal / turret focus that specific part (vs the entire ship)?

Currently roaming a chieftain and having a blast. Miniguns in large Hardpoint, beam laser in others.

How in solo play, as a BH, can I support powerplay that don't have comba ethos ? Currently supporting thorgal (the Queen that eats babies for breakfast), how can I contribute as a Bounty Hunter?

I was wondering what the best bounty hunting ship is.

Looking a build that i can aim towards.

Currently in a Chieftain

Money, powerplay and engineering no problem. It is a goal aftet all.

My current build

I'd like to farm mats while doing some BH in CNB/High RES sites.

I know I need some engineering to do. That's why i'd like to have it in a priority list to be able to manage better.

What and how'd you change in the build?
I was using pulse instead of beams before. Just changed them.

I just downloaded the game yesterday and started playing it today. I absolutely cannot figure out how to do assassination missions. I eventually find the target, fight him, he gets to 30-40% hull or so then FSS's away. I installed a high wake scanner for this, but it just gives me a random system location. I tried to jump to it, but a planet was in the way so I supercruised around it only to be notified that the dude was apparently back. I went to him again and he had full hull again. I repeated that cycle of pain three times over before just rage quitting and coming here because I must be missing something. P.S. Richardson (bounty target name), I WILL find you, and I WILL ensure there's not enough of you left to send to your home planet for a funeral.
