Hey guys, I'm a triple Elite CMDR and i want to know what are the best current methods of making money trough trading or combat. I'm a bit lost, i stopped playing soon after the space legs update. I don't even know how engineers work currently, is there a good guide?

I'm a VR player, so i really like to stay inside my ship most of the time.

Salve, con l'inizio di settembre una nuova campagna one life è iniziata.

Cos'è one life? one life è un roleplay game, ci sarà un capitano (temporaneamente io) che guiderà una squadra di valorosi guerrieri/commercianti/taxisti/esploratori o quello che deciderà lui.

Il capitano PAGA la sua squadra (la paga la decide lui cmq di solito è tutti i soldi guadagnati nella missione).
Il capitano tiene un registro delle missioni.
Il capitano se siete nuovi e poveracci vi darà i soldi necessari per avere una nave giusta per la missione (tranquilli la detrarra dalle vostre paghe).

Se un membro della sua squadra muore viene rimosso permanentemente e non potrà più giocare con il capitano .

La morte è intesa solo quando si è in wing insieme in sessione.
Le morti con i "fighter" non vale come morte perchè sono guidati da remoto
È vietato uccidere volutamente un membro del wing o peggio ancora il capitano.

La sfida è riuscire a fare più missioni possibili e non morire, la squadra ha come priorità proteggere il capitano a tutti i costi.

Se il capitano muore la squadra ha perso.

Hello everybody! Im returning to elite after two years, and slowing getting back into it, especially with the new odyssey. I’ve always wanted to do AX, but guides on YouTube always seemed like they assumed you know some things. What do I need to start? I have about 47 MIL in credits, but am willing to sell a ship worth about 120M. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

So I have seen the news Shinrarta Dezhra under Thargoid attack and it got me wondering for the sake of all us noob's, what is the criteria to be able to join this defence, I am currently only flying a cobra 3 and have been practicing and trying to build some cash by "helping" the security forces take out criminals at resource belts and wondered if I can get involved (even if just to build a little cash whilst hiding behind you veterans 🤔😋)

I went to a non-human signal to collect thargoid sensor fragments, and was only able to relog once and collect the fragments. After that the entire site disappeared for me.

I tried relog/full game exit/exiting system and reentering system, and the entire site is just not there anymore.

Hi CMDR’s! I have about 1000 hours in-game and done almost everything I like to do. I’ve explored in and around the bubble, went to Colonia as a tourist on a fleet carrier (most fun thing I have done!), done exobiology (felt like a grind) to get money fast, ranked up on fed-rank to get into Sol and buy a dropship. Tried to get involved in the war by using the dropship to do evacuation and logistics missions and I do some occasional mining.

I don’t know if I like combat, every time I try I get vaporized in seconds.

Now I’m at a point where I have seen most things. I plan to go to the Guardian sites and I’m waiting to see what Powerplay 2.0 brings. Other than that I’m farming materials for engineering, but I want to take a break from it. Can you CMDR help me out with some fresh ideas to keep the game fun?

I played for 30mins and I got 4 crashes: Three times no connection to adjucation server and one time to matchmaking server?

I know that ED is not as popular anymore but damn, at least keep the servers running wtf?

Please tell me I'm not the only one having crashing issues since the shinrarta update went live. I can't play for more than 3 minutes without either getting a cobra code or completely black screening and having to task manage out. I know it's 100% not my system or internet connection, I've been playing every day for the past week with 0 issues. Anyone else dealing with this as well?

Shinrata Dezhra is under attack by Thargoids. I'm just about to hit elite so I can go to Jameson. Damn it.

So just got back to Jameson Memorial, how the hell do I access all 12 of my ships if I can't access the shipyard?...

A Thargoid fleet has bypassed humanity's front line and launched a direct invasion of Shinrata Dezhra.

Thargoids have disabled most ports within the system and a rallying point has been established at Jameson Memorial which has suffered considerable damage and is currently under attack.

Hi all, UK CMNDR here. I've been playing Elite since the early 90s, Elite Dangerous since it came out on consoles.

Moved on to PC when Odyssey got good, for the legs and VR gameplay.

I did have a few friends who played, but they have since drifted off from the game, and now I find myself in the lonely blackness of the cosmos without anyone to space fly with.

I have had some outings with CMNDR Quillmonkey who helped me get a Krait up to Titan knacking standard and took my on my first Titan runs, for which I am eternally grateful. But I still find myself logging in for 30 minutes before I find myself feeling a bit lonesome and in need of mates.

So I'm asking for squadron recommendations so I can get out there more regularly with other CMDRs!

I enjoy dabbling in most aspects of the game, I'll happily trade, mine or do CZs. I haven't done any AX combat apart from Titan runs, and would like to experience taking down some interceptors. But basically I just want to be able to hang out and do whatever is going on.

Any help appreciated!

I guess there's been some kind of big update, as now my laptop can't run ED - not enough vram.

I don't really see the point in playing on PS5, as it's essentially been abandoned.

The weird thing is, my laptop used to be able to run it, but now is constantly crashing at the planet system generation phase.

It's been a lot of fun, CMDRS, hopefully I'll get a new computer one day - one with an actual graphics card.

Hey guys, I have haven't played in years i think just after odyssey came out. I want to get your guys opinion if I should continue my old character or just start a whole new one?

I saw snoofoxes post a pic of his Dark Wheel novelette, and had to see if I could find mine. I did! It was hiding inside the original box with all these other goodies. 🙂

Every week the servers go offline to allow the Galaxy's persistent data to update:

• Star System & Station/Outpost ruling minor factions, alignment, and available commodities & services
• Powerplay Control/Exploited Systems - see the Powerplay subreddits
• Addition of new Community Goals - see the EliteCG subreddit

This update usually takes between 30 and 60 minutes, during which time you cannot login to the Milky Way.

Do I start the trek to Sag A or head to Soul Nebula?

I kinda wanna see what's in the Nebula, but I want the Achievement after this long playing for reaching Sag A

I need a little help. I have returned to the game after about 5 years. I'm currently doing exo to make cash quick. Is there anything else which is less mind numbing that exo to make quick cash?

500 hours in. Wondering if the market prices simulation is even remotely dynamic and global, or is it just FD setting prices. For example, if 2000 players simultaneously mined and sold tritium in a large number of systems until demand is zero, will we see global tritium prices fall?

I understand this amazing group of human beings does it out of the pleasure of serving, but can we donate to them to help them do their thing? Sorry if this is a repetitive question.

So I started this game and I was following a guide because I was so lost I didn't know what to do. The thing is that this guide basically said I should scan a lot of planets looking for bio signals and also collecting data (not sure about this one). Doing this is extremely boring and I dropped the game for a while since I didn't find it funny, but I see so many people posting things about their ships that it makes me want to play it again. I would like to do some mining or just hunting pirates or something like that (not very interested in landing on planets, I wanna buy a ship and upgrade it, and get bigger ships). What do you recommend me to do? Follow this beginner guide or what?
