This subreddit is exclusively for pictures of infrastructure. Paved roads and other public transit, agriculture, freight, waste management, and water systems are all things we could live without but we really don't want to (and they look cool too!). The tunnels pictured are 700 metres long and cut through a wide section of karst. There is a flatter, easier route 2km to the northwest, but planners elected for this route to avoid intruding upon the protected heritage area.
