I saw this in a pawn shop (it’s really a gun store. They don’t sell anything else but guns) while I was getting my Stribog out of pawn. I sold my cousin my Scorpion Micro (in picture) the same day and went back for this.

I had this pistol version before, but I sold it which always hurt, so I was excited to come across another one. This Scorpion came with the Mantis Arms brace, five mags (two were Pmags) and the HBI safety selector. This gun had been sitting, collecting interest since 2020.

I already had a Holosun HS510C and a Timney trigger to put on, so I’m not starting from scratch. I’m looking to SBR as I have an OEM folding stock as well. I’m looking forward to this Scorpion being a year long project.

I have looked through the forums and tried a heat gun, strap wrench, an adjustable pin wrench, channel locks, and for a couple of days I've struggled in trying to get this thing off. This is not the micro or the carbine version.

Some of the holes for the adjustable pin wrench broke. The tube started to unscrew from the cap so I stopped because I didn't want to create a jam nut effect.

I got tired of it and gave it to my local LGS last night that has a smith on site. He just called me saying he broke a suppressor tool and ripped apart a strap wrench. He was obviously frustrated and said he will give it a couple more tries but he's gonna pass it on here if he can't.

What the hell do I do?

Got a new scorpion evo s1, besides a nexus bolt which I cannot afford, I have seen a lot of people talk about preventative maintenance and what not without actually detailing what that means. Can someone please explain what exactly I should be doing after each range trip?

Also, I have a shit ton of Monarch 9mm NATO 124GR FMJ that I use for plinking because I was able to get an insane deal on it a while back.

Is this safe to shoot in my EVO? Or is this considered an "overcharged round"

Hello I am currently looking for an optic to mount on my evo3 a1, looking at the romeo5 gen II elite optics(Tall mount 1.93" and absolute co-witness mount 1.41").

Has anyone mounted these optics on a scorpion? and will the absolute co-witness dot align with the iron sights?

I believe that the absolute co-witness mount will be a better fit for my setup but wanted to check if anyone has tried these optics.

Are there any more, uh affordable options for a replacement bolt to reduce the chances of an OOB? nexus looks absolutely great but it's extremely expensive relative to what I paid for my scorpion. The upper receiver and complete bolt are basically the same price that I paid for the firearm. I saw hyperion but wasn't wowed are those the o ly two options?

Hi! So I've recently got myself a Scorpion Carbine. Mostly to mitigate the risk of the bolt peening, I'm planning on dropping in an Ascalon Arms drop-in trigger. Per regulations here I have to reach 1000g (2.2 lbs). Is it possible to adjust the trigger to a slightly higher trigger weight? Or are the triggers even slightly over the 2 lbs by themselves?

I'm currently running a Griffen Resistance 9 can and it's stupid quiet. I know that a 4" k can is going to be louder but as an unashamed CZ whore I couldn't pass it up. If anyone is running this can I'd like your impressions. If anyone decide to run it on a pistol are there piston and nelson devices available for it?

A guy at the gun shop and a couple of message boards mentioned CZ releasing a 4th gen at SHOT show in January. Anyone know if that’s true? I can’t stand buying something and then a new one comes out right after.

I have the ASR setup on various rifles and like it, but have been using 3 lug on Scorpion Evo and 3+ Micro…wondering if anyone has any issues with the Single Port ASR muzzle brake and their SilencerCo Omega 300 or 9K?

I want to start shooting PCC in USPSA but I only have a Scorpion that has 7.5” barrel.

I have to choose whether or not to buy the 16” carbine version or just upgrade to a 16” barrel like what Nexus offers.

How difficult is it to change the barrel?

I just purchased a scorpion 3 + micro and also a midwest rail. my question is do i need to upgrade the barrel to change out the hand guard?

Anyways I am looking for some fixed sights that 1/3 cowitness with the dot. I am not sure if the ar15 level sights are an absolute cowitness or not. I don’t want absolute cowitness as it’s too busy for me. I will be selling my factory cz scorpion sights once I find a suitable replacement set. Any suggestions?

Looking into triggers, I'm thinking of getting the Ergon trigger pack. To those that have them how do y'all like them? Any other opinions on other triggers? I wanna be sure before I buy

Hello all, Looking for recommendations on a 3 lug to work with my Omega 9k on my evo 3 and/or 3+ micro.

As background, I have bought 3 lugs from a few vendors but have had issues with the Omega 9k seating with some (almost like tolerances are off someplace), or not being able to get suppressor off the tri lug once I have fired 100 rounds due to carbon buildup.

I talked to one of the 3rd party vendors and he said that see this issue with Omega 9K.

Anyone found a good 3 lug that works with their Omega 9k?

I shot mine last weekend and I absofucking love it and cant get enough of this gun. 100 yards with subsonic Ammo it stays flat and bangs Mrs gong every time. Very impressed with this scorpion 3+. Weeks to come in will be doing the timney trigger and nexus Bolt upgrades!
