Streptocarpus Little Khan and a primulina in the foreground.
Reminiscing on warmer days as the winter sets in here in the Northern Hemisphere.
Pictured: Partially open bloom, dabbled with dew, on an especially vivacious rose bush. Likely a hybrid tea garden cultivar based upon coloring and fragrance.
My photo doesn’t do it justice, but this beautiful Lilly Pilly had the most amazing hot pink new growth leaves, and incredibly vibrant red berries.
It looks like I have enhanced the colour, but I haven’t. If anything, it was brighter in real life.
Genus is Syzygium, but I’m not sure of this one’s exact species.
Australian native tree and the berries are traditional bush tucker.
