Popped my 50AE Cherry yesterday. Woo!
I rented and fired a Desert Eagle 50 action Express for the first time yesterday. Holy shit The recoil is crazy. I fucking love it. On top of my regular Port time which was $25 renting the deagle and just five rounds was an additional $50 ð€£ð€£ð€£ð€£ well worth it. I know we all know there's no practicality for this firearm. I don't care. I fucking want one and I've already committed anyway because I bought the 50 AE barrel and magazine set. Oh we're doing this.

First .50!
Im in love with it. Only thing is i cant figure out the sight picture. Magnumresearch says theyre zeroed at 25 yards with a 6 o'clock hold but when i shoot from 20-30 yards using 6 o'clock and lolipopping the target im hitting the dirt like 2-3 feet low. Anyone know why it would shoot so low? I thought maybe i was flinching but if i aim over the target i get on paper.

L5 Desert Eagle in 50AE, some questions/concerns
I've wanted a desert eagle forever but one is now in a pawn shop near me, they're asking 2000$ for it and I think it's a L5.
Does the L5 have caliber conversions like the XIX?
Being cambered 50AE and having the shorter barrel makes me unsure if I would even enjoy this gun to shoot for fun as I am a smaller guy. Should I just try to man up and get it or look for another one that's either full size or a different caliber

Ammo questions
So I just got a Desert Eagle in Tungsten with the 50ae. Have you all had any issues with the ammo that you use? Do you stay strictly with what the manufacturer recommends or does it even matter? I have read a lot of conflicting statements. Thank you!

Removing grips
Hi I have the DE XIX 50 AE. I cannot figure out how to remove the stock grips. This is a brand new and has the molded grips. I removed the two screws. But the new ones dont have a pin. I tried Google and YouTube but they are all for the older version. Help please!
