I'm looking to get rid of Prime, Hulu, Paramount+, and Peacock. Would YouTube TV give me options for TV shows found of these platform? I understand I wouldn't get original programming, but I mean my kids shows like Bluey and Paw Patrol - would they be able to access them on You Tube TV?

Anyone else’s preview pane not showing the content when rewinding or fast forwarding? It’s just a gray screen.

Kind of defeats the purpose.

What are your must-have channels?

1. Local channels - ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC

2. ESPN (all of them)

3. Food Network

CourtTV shows are again not being saved in the library properly. This is in Los Angeles. Live shows (all with the same name) are aired all day. There are no repeats. Although show indicates it is recording, it is not in the library, and this show has. No “extras”.

Youtubetv, Please get this issue fixed for good!

I have Autoplay on Start set to OFF.

Samsung TV, When power off the tv and turn it on later, the app plays a buffered (maybe 2-3 hours worth) stream. If I go to Live and hit the channel in the guide, it goes to the live Live.

How can I just get it to go to live Live?

I may be using an incorrect term, but until this week I would start a program and switch to my email; the show would appear in a smaller window. Not any longer; the audio continues, but no video unless I return to the app.

EDIT: i should have restarted my iPhone before reporting the issue.

I was watching today's Knicks game and I got the "This program's blocked in your area." at the very last minute after watching the entire half. Could someone please help explain this? I do not live in or anywhere near Houston or New York.

SoCal local and I am missing my all important Kcal channel 9. It’s on the app on my phone but not showing up on firestick. I checked and it shows up on my channel live guide on the phone but nothing on firestick. Any suggestions. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled with no fixes.

I saw a post about a week ago about getting 7 minute adds while trying to watch live tv. I’ve been having a similar issue primarily with prerecorded shows for about the past 2 weeks. Almost every time I go to watch a prerecorded show I’m getting 10+ minutes of unskippsble ads. It makes me not even watch the show due to having to sit through that many ads. It’s getting quite frustrating given the recent price increases. Has anyone else been experiencing this recently or know if this going to be normal going forward?

Anyone else get the unofficial YTTV background play enabled? It's great because I use YTTV to listen to the news driving home and now I can lock my screen. Wish it was permanent, maybe this time.

Any community managers still monitoring this? My YouTube TV app crashes a few times a day. I have gone through all the usual troubleshooting steps with Google support. Make sure app is updated, reinstall it, TV unplugged for 1 min, reboot my router, update my TV OS, do a Speedtest etc, delete all running apps, turn off QuickStart.

I’ve uploaded logs almost 30-40 times via the app, never heard back from Google.

Is this even a supported platform anymore? No other app ever crashes - Disney, Netflix, Amazon, peacock, ESPN all work beautifully. Only YouTube TV crashes.

To add some hilarity to this, support asked me to record the app crashing. I asked how do I do that? Was told to record the TV on my phone. I asked, you want me to point my phone to my TV 24/7 to capture these sporadic crashes? Silence

I have max added to my youtubetv account, for years I could watch it through youtubetv or the app on my tv. (Samsung smart tv) Now when I go to watch on app it tells me to sign in with my youtubetv info and I do the qr code with my phone and it connects app loads and then within 15 seconds it starts all over again and blows me out and wants me to login again. How can I fix this?

AMC Stories is playing the same Mad Men episode on repeat. I think it’s on the third time now. Anyone else getting this? Just when I got invested, it starts messing up.

Will YouTube TV ever add it on again? My dad told me they had it but removed it almost 2 years ago so I just wondering if they will add it back again before the MLB season starts.

Show in progress not showing in library and when I select show from live I can only rewind to what has happened since I turned it on. Any ideas?

What's the most data that anyone has used? We presently have Directv and Roku for streaming. My wife is a hard core TV watcher, and the TV is in use at least 14 hours a day. She will often watch one thing while recording another, and then she will fast forward through much of the recorded programs. Our internet is through Comcast, and it has a 1.2 TB cap. We presently use between 400-800 MB a month. I'm afraid if we go to YTTV, that we will reach the data cap in just a few weeks.

I am thinking of going back to yttv bc Fubo has such bad video quality. Any promo coming up for returning customer in the works?

hey, ive had this TV for almost 3 years and rhis never happened before, it actually started last week, i woke up, and my Youtube TV was logged out, i didnt think much of it and logged in again, the next day simular issue, except i wasnt logged out, i just had to select one of the profiles on my google account, the next day i was logged out again, this has been happening all week, today is sunday so lets say on monday, wednesday, friday and sunday, i was fully logged out, but on tuesday, thursday and saturday, i was still logged in but had to choose youtube account, what can be causing it? and should i just reinstall the app or factory reset the entire tv?

The YTTV app on my tv is missing things in the library that the app on my phone has. On my phone I got to library and click on the show I want to watch and it has a “recent” tab and shows everything it recorded, new and old releases. On my tv, in the same show, it is only showing new recordings and is missing reruns. I can’t find them anywhere under the tab. The tab only has most recent new listings, then a “view more” button that just list new recordings in chronological order. All rerun type recordings are nowhere to be found. This is a sport, NASCAR racing, not a sitcom.

All of a sudden, tonight, the icon previews for episodes of show in my library don’t show a picture from the episode. They’re all blurred out. Why?

TLDR I live in Michigan and my own android app has the correct location on my samsung phone.

When I log in to the browser version by requesting the desktop site it will quickly change it to LA.

Initially, I thought it was an issue with my ISP, but from every GEO tester I could find it gives me a location of michigan.

I do have two TVs one Roku and Hisense and they both report a location of LA.

When I go through the re enrollment process of the app while using my phone, my phone correctly says a michigan location while both tvs say LA.

I've power cycled my ISPs modem along with all network equipment. I did see an earlier issue posted in this sub about the app not loading on Rokus and Hisense's is this related?

Edit solved: I reached out to youtube tv and they walked me through re establishing the correct location. One of the comments I seen mentioned maybe this was due to my dual isps. It's working that's all I care about at this point. Thank you all for the help, you wonderful strangers!

When scrolling the TV Guide the channel logos on the left side are all grey. It would be easier to identify channels when scrolling if the logos were in color. Channel logos in color stand out more and are more recognizable because that it how they are usual shown.

Just wondering if I should switch to Youtube TV and switch off verizon. I have verizon internet and cable. Wondering if it’s better to stop verizon cable and switch to YouTube tv?

So I am subscribed to the Entertainment Plus package for $29.99/mo, which: "Includes Max, Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, and STARZ"

Except that I don't get any of the Paramount+ shows, and when I try to log into the Paramount+ website via "Connect Provider" I get rejected?

The last 2 or 3 recordings of different shows ended early where I missed the last couple of minutes of the show. I've never noticed this before. Anyone else experience this?

Last night while watching TV I started to get messages that my free trial had expired and YT was encouraging me to sign up for a subscription...but I have a subscription, and have been a subscriber for years. I confirmed this on my subscription page, and confirmed that I'm using the same account on my devices.

It is happening on every device in my family now.

Any suggestions?

I have 3 users in my family plan, we all have our own TVs and record our own shows and we also have a living room tv. Right now if we're all in the living room we can switch users in a few clicks of a remote to get to whomever has a show we're watching. But it would be convenient if in regards to the DVR if they were linked together so you could pull shows over.
