I'm using Airpods Pros 2 listening to YTM on my Samsung.
All tracks played from Samsung Music Player are loud on max volume. But when I listen to the same tracks on YTM, even at 100%, its just like 70% volume.
How come that the songs i downloaded on my local files are louder than YTM or Spotify in my experience?
The default app on CarPlay is terrible. With a poor cell connection, my music takes forever to load, I can’t individually select songs from a downloaded playlist, and there isn’t a shuffle button from the start. That means I need to hit play, and then press shuffle, and then skip the song.
Is there a better alternative app to use? I know Spotify has some non-official alternatives.
I remember maybe a year ago, the Audio had one Codec and the video had a differente one, I know that OPUS 774 for videos is new, but the YTM Audio in High Quality i remember it wasn't OPUS 774, what codec was before and when did that change? Useless question i know but i just wanted to know
Spotify has "video podcasts" that are repackaged Tiktok and YouTube content - I'm wanting to limit access to these videos for my children - would YTM be a better option?
I have recently migrated from spotify and the only thing I miss is some good playlists that update weekly with good new release albums. The particular spotify user shares my tastes so it's not just a case of pulling all new releases or something.
Is there a tool that can pull that playlist on a regular basis as it updates?
I.e. not just migrate it once, but automate keeping it updated as the spotify user I like updates their playlist.

These are all WhatsApp audio messages that for some strange reason, are saved in my YT music app.
why tho???
Hello, I use an older version of youtube music before the low volume issue and different volume issue happened. Works flawless! So there is a newer version which was released some days ago. Did they fix the issue so I can finally update the app or is this issue still there?
Since yesterday or the day before, I can't find any of the personalized mixtapes anywhere now. Was there an update that removed them?
Is there a way to do this, or something im misunderstanding about radios or a setting I can change in my phone or anything?
I didn't noted that button until yesterday, is that new?
My Discover playlist used to be a good mix of things I like but now every song is a sad breakup song.
Admittedly I did like and save quite a few at first cause they’re good but now it’s too much.
Has anyone else dealt with this? I skip songs but feel bad thumbing them down, the artists don’t deserve that just cause YouTube’s algorithm is screwy.
So I need to find some obscure covers of Hell's Coming With Me by Poor Man's Poison. im putting together a playlist to confuse my friend. I've found 23 covers so far. Wondering if there's more out there
Recently, the number of likes on this song, which I've been listening to for a year, has changed sharply. There were 13K, and now 157, and it's not just in YouTube music.
Is it possible to change my personal account to a student account? I am enrolled at a university.
This is happening a while ago in the browser version, idk but it looks really strange keeping in mind that some months or maybe years ago it was not like this.
Anyone is experiencing this also?
If you look at some artist's pages, you can see that albums that were released after ~2022 are missing from their discography.
Is this a label issue? Is it some geo restriction?
Examples:
Mac Miller (Baloonerism missing)
Green Day (Saviors missing)
The Chemical Brothers (For That Beautiful Feeling missing)
Bring Me the Horizon (Nex Gen missing)
The page rejects my payment to YouTube music premium for students, I have tried everything but it continues to reject the payment, it does not tell me exactly the problem.
I absolutely HATE this. Can it be bypassed somehow?!
I recently reset (cleared all data) the YM app on my Pixel.
After the reset it works fine except that podcasts always start from the beginning. Whereas previously YM would remember where I was and pick up that point, now they always start from the beginning.
I cannot see a setting to control this.
Has anyone got the same problem?
Ik last.fm works on Android but....
