I work for UPS and I have recently lost my home in Asheville so I packed what was left of my car and have nowhere to go so I transferred here. I have found that they are very strict about sleeping in your car. Are the any safe places where I won’t get bothered by cops and crime?

Like the title says.. looking to buy some today to throw on the grill. Most meat markets I see are closed today. Anyone seen any in grocery stores around town ?

Preferably in VB, but I haven't been able to find anything in the area that makes or sells Balkan groceries, more specifically Serbian foods. I'm dying to find a restaurant, but I'm okay with trying to make some things myself if I can get some ingredients.

I've searched, but searches mostly turn up Turkish and Mediterranean places.. I've tried the international groceries but that's mostly Asian and Mexican foods. Is there anything in the area?

I served at Texas Roadhouse for about 9 months I have management experience in many different industries I’m a people person and would really like to work somewhere that I can interact with people.

Is there any info out there about plans to extend Nimmo Parkway west of the Veterans care center? I look at satellite imagery and it looks like a right-of-way exists to eventually build this, but the only literature I can find online is for the extension to Sandbridge.

My SIL purchased an SUV and is going to get it registered. She went online to calculate the DMV fees and they seem very high just to register and for plates. Its saying DMV fees would be $700 for a $15k car. Does that seem high to pay when registering or is that normal? I dont think Ive ever paid that much when Ive gone to the DMV to renew my car.

I am in the military and recently received an order to NAS Oceana. We have never been to Virginia. My family and I are looking into living in the Little Creek area. How is the drive in the morning from Little Creek, more specifically Bayside area to Oceana? Hello, I'm looking for information on the local culture. I have narrowed down a few cities off the east coast that seem to offer a similar cost of living to Louisville KY. We are two dads and our toddler son. I was curious if VB might be a good fit? I have a background in teacher education and education consulting. My husband is a nurse practitioner. Any Marines with boats in the area? 10 Nov will be a pretty nice day to head out on the Lynnhaven River to do some fishing and celebrating the Corps’ birthday. The sand bar is a nice place to rendezvous! Low tide 8:38 Am and high at 2:54 PM.
