My husband and I were in a long line waiting almost 10 minutes before we decided to turn right onto the blvd.

Can someone please explain to me why there is a dedicated bike path at the oceanfront. We were there walking late yesterday afternoon and were almost run over by a biker riding on the pedestrian side. I would say that approximately 98% of individuals riding bikes were not using the bike path. We would probably have been safer walking on the bike path as it was practically unused.

Does anyone know if Vance is gone…. because I take care of the elderly and cannot be late to work for this BS! Thanks!

Here are some areas I need input/ advice:

1. Virginia Beach? Schools, Safety, and Entertainment? (I hear Norfolk has a high crime rate and is 25mins away from Virginia Beach)

2. Prince George VA? Great housing, How is this area?

3. Richmond VA? (I hear the city life is fair but houses are not so good in appearance, size, price, and quality).

4. Any Northern VA areas that’s great to raise a family and relocate to? Alexandria, Arlington, etc.

5. If you suggest the DMV area my husband and I are definitely open to exploring that option as well, which part(s) and why?

We’d like an area to buy a nice home 3-4bdrm. Raise our kiddos, with nice public schools (I’ll be working as a teacher), in a Safe low-crime area, that’s not too far from fun city events. Which areas would you suggest?

Hey everyone! Looking to see if anyone here has any recommendations for a good electrician that also won’t break the bank. I’m having an issue with my GFCI outlet in one of my bathrooms. While they are there I may have them give the others a look as well.

Does not have to be a large company as I know many tradesman work for themselves as well!

I had a recall on my mower and it's taking DeWalt very long to send a replacement. I need my back and front mowed, but most lawn companies want you to have more than one or two cuts. Like a year of service, or 6 services. I don't need that much. Anyone know of single cut companies in VB?

Is it not taught in drivers ed that when traffic lights are out that intersections are treated like a 4-way stop?

London Bridge Rd lights are out and I hadn’t seen a single person stop, the number of incompetent/distracted drivers in his area astounds me.

We have a toddler that we want to take trick-or-treating around here, but not sure where to go? We live in an apartment complex, and last year there was no action here. Really want to get her used to and excited for this time of year. :)

Does anyone know of any neighborhoods that still do Halloween/Trick-or-Treating right? Lots of people walking around, lots of lights/decorations, lots of houses giving out candy? We ended up going to the neighborhood near Wesleyan Avenue last year, which was okay. But, I was hoping for more excitement & people walking around!

Attention renters: is the property management company using Conservice to bill your utilities? If so, please keep a close eye on your bills. I just printed invoices since 2020 and they have vastly over charged me and other renters. The city lists the sewer fee at $32.37 per home. CONservice just charged me $100. For sewer fees!

hi whenever i'm interested in going somewhere and want to go to the place i'm interested in i always search it up to see if it's in the area.. the problem is it's always either in northern virginia, washington d.c., or in other states.. so i feel made a list where places that i think should come to virginia beach!

first is kura revolving sushi bar.. i was so excited to see revolving sushi conveyor belts making their way to the united states! only problem is.. i look it up and the closest one is in northern virginia :(.. so this is the first on my list that i feel like should come to virginia beach! i don't think it'll happen though sadly because one just recently opened up in northern virginia so them to open a second store in virginia this early doesn't seem that realistic right now.. but hopefully in the future

second is round1.. this is another store that i'd like to see open up in virginia beach.. but sadly the closest is also in nothern virginia.. i really hope they open one down here that'd be nice but it's not really that important as kura revolving sushi because we have arcades all over virginia beach.. but what makes it cool is that round1 is from japan and they brought over some of their crane games from there and stuff.. so them coming down to virginia beach would be cool

third is urban air.. the closest one is in newport news which is great! but it's not open yet.. maybe in the future they can add urban air to virginia beach too because going over that bridge can be pretty trafficy! thankfully they're making a new bridge but there's still a long way! i really hope they open up in virginia beach one day too!

fourth is 7 eleven evolution.. the closest one i believe is near richmond on a highway but i don't know if that one is still open and i don't know if they are still building more of those.. if they are i hope they build one here.. i know we have a bunch of 7 elevens here already but this ones bigger and cooler! it has a restaurant connecting right to it and you don't need to go outside to go to it (well the one is richmond u don't) it's really cool! :D

so those are all the places i can think of right now that i think should come to virginia beach.. i hope to hear each of your opinions and what you think of the list! and of course you can also even add more in the replys! thank u :D

Recently relocated to VB and I am not familiar with some of the furniture stores here. I am looking for a good quality dining room set without breaking the bank.

I checked out Value City Furniture and liked set there but am concerned about the quality in the long run.

Any recommendations on places to check out in the VB and surrounding areas would be greatly appreciated!
