The City of Chesapeake Virginia.
Chesapeake is a diverse city with few urban areas as well as many square miles of protected farmland, forests, and wetlands, including a substantial portion of the Great Dismal Swamp. Extending all the way from the rural border with North Carolina to the harbor area of Hampton Roads adjacent to the cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth, Chesapeake is located on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway and has miles of waterfront industrial, commercial and residential property.

Could anyone help me or point me in the right direction to get some dog food & toilet paper
Would love to connect to an organization that puts on shows in the area. Haven’t done theater since 2011 but would love to try to get back into it.
Hello, I’m hoping someone could help me. I’m trying to locate my sibling, I think he’s incarcerated in a Chesapeake jail. I looked it up online and found some information on him but not exactly sure how to get ahold of someone incarcerated. I’m in another state and trying to find him.
Do any local shops buy used tires or should I go through something like FB Marketplace or Offer Up.
I love dollar tree stores and I heard Chesapeake has some good ones. Which one would you recommend I go to?
I could sit here & tell you all the reasons why you should join our server (we're fun, we're silly, we've all made a lot of IRL friends, etc.), but just come see for yourself! This is a 21+ server, so no youngins (sorry, kiddos).
We know there are specific Discords for different cities, regions, etc. for VA, but this is a state wide server designed to make actual friends from all over the state!
How does Chesapeake plan to accommodate all the new students that are gonna come once the whole Scenic Heights project is done with? I am a student at Grassfield High School and it’s already overcrowded as it is, now just add 800+ more homes and apartments and somehow our school is gonna be able to hold all the people. Not gonna happen. It’s the same deal with the elementary schools too. My little sister’s school bus has only one stop, which is my neighborhood, and there’s like 60 little elementary school kids that pile onto the bus. Imagine how many kids there will be inside the schools once the project is done. I have seen news about new elementary schools like the one being built to replace Crestwood Intermediate and also the one for Culpepper Landing. But do they have any plans for the Grassfield High/Elementary school, and Cedar Road Elementary? And also for Great Bridge Middle and Hugo Owens Middle? I’m probably overthinking it a little but I just feel like it will be too much
I noticed construction at the old farm fresh on cedar next to TCC. Anyone know what's going in?
Is anyone accepting flags for proper disposal in Chesapeake?
Looking for a place near Elizabeth city that you don’t need a campsite to go camping at. Just moved here from Colorado and I know the rules there are you can camp at a national forest if you aren’t too close to a trail or another campsite. Any ideas on a spot?
Looking for recommendations for church based or Christian daycares in the area
Are there any churches in the area that: Have women in leadership Are LGBTQIA affirming Support social justice causes Do mission work directly in the community Encourage questioning beliefs Care about the environment Overall encourage love and acceptance?
I found your card at Chesapeake City park. Direct message me so I can return it.
Drove past it today and the line is LONG. Despite being here for most of my life, I have never been on the west side of Chesapeake much so I never seen this place. And the God dam drive through is twice as long as chick FLA a. Is it really worth the wait to get it?
I'm searching for a bookclub with some people my age in it? I'm a 23 year old female. Lover of thrillers and general fiction (with some romance and sci-fi sprinkled in). I know of a few but they all have older adults in them and it's just harder to relate to them in the way I can people my age. If there are none- who wants to make a book club with me? Lol TIA 🩵🩵 willing to go to any of the 7 cities!
In light of the recent vote; HERE IS A VIDEO OF TRASH BEING MIXED WITH RECYCLABLES.
https://youtu.be/88prVBRcdBg?si=gH6edsw7cUfJU8sR
About a year ago, I saw the recyclable truck mixing up the different types of recycling, which irritated me. Why was I sorting them if they’re mixing them all together?
My intention on this day was to be able to share my frustration with my mom, but instead I got them mixing trash into the recyclables.
I’m 24 and work at Amazon. I’ve been looking for a bit now for no experience construction jobs or apprenticeships to get my foot in the door to learn a trade and for a chance to start a career. I have some experience with hand tools and a small bit of training in framing from years ago but haven’t applied it in some time. Can anyone give me any advice or point me on how to start off in the industry? I have a driver’s license and car, with no felonies. I do smoke marijuana but will be quitting if it helps any chance. Looking in the Chesapeake/Suffolk areas; preferable pay is $17 and up, but willing to start somewhere.
My ac is having some issues, but i’ve been reading some people’s stories and i don’t want to go $1000 deep and still end up having to get it worked on.
Looking to get my 4 year old daughter back into a gymnastics (or similar program).
