Other Subreddits:
/r/subredditideas
A subreddit that, clearly and concisely, acts as a place for people to submit their stories.
I know that HFY and HumansAreSpaceOrks exist, but that's for stuff in space and I'm sitting on a couple of distinctly not-space stories... and none of them are writing-prompt based, so that subreddit won't work either.
I’m not sure if something like this already exists.. but the common saying when someone wants to complain about their lives is “everyone has things going on in their lives”. Sometimes it can feel like “yeah I know that, but my problems are significantly more difficult to deal with and extremely unfair”. This may or may not be true, but having a sub where people can read what’s going on in other peoples lives could give some really good perspective at their own lives. I mean I can go to r/depression… but that’s kind of different from what I’m talking about. I’m talking about everyday people, and what they are going through, and that they are getting through it.
This subreddit would be for when you’re going to buy something, and people post what sponsorships/discounts/rewards there are for it. So for example say you needed a VPN but you didn’t want to pay full price for it, you could look on the subreddit to see what deals there were- so maybe like 6 months free if you use a discount code from a YouTuber.
Additionally, Y’know how sometimes you’ll get points for buying XYZ item or you’ll get a free gift if you buy this and that, well you could also post those deals as well. So if you’re going to buy something, might as well get it with a free gift.
The opposite of r/petpeeves
If most people get pretty strong negative emotions from it, not just something like boredom, annoyance, or mild frustration, then that wouldn't belong in r/RedditTrash. That's more of an r/RedditHell kind of thing, but r/RedditHell probably shouldn't exist.
Edit: It should instead be called r/AhhTheyPuked, which is meant to be read as " "Ahh", they puked.", as if it's in an expressive book that's very against people using the word "ahh" like that.
People share their little brainfart moments, or some other tame situations where they were maybe outraged or something but then realized they were wrong- incorrect info, assumptions, etc.
One of the worst things I encounter is when I see a "People who know" meme and not knowing it. So this will be a subreddit where you can post the meme you didnt understand and people who know will answer you.
No matter what you think of the ubiquitous /s
tag, sometimes they're just overused.
Stay classy, Reddit! /s
(tagged as sarcasm because I don't actually want Reddit to retain high standards of taste and comportment)
place to look for any nsfw/nsfl and related stuff out of morbid curiosity since wikipedia is uncensored
r/ihadastroke is LONG overdue for a "true" version. It's plagued with reposts and obviously intentional "strokes," not to mention the "no politics" rule isn't remotely enforced.
1 r/ Handwritinggore , where people with shitty hand writeing can post their handwriting
2 i dont know what to call it but a subreddit where you can show your powerpoint/google slides presentation , no exact subject , just random presentations
Edit: Name based on the name of r/thomastheplankengine.
A subreddit to post your best Skyrim fights and kills.
Things like how it's scientifically proven that true perfect cloning is impossible.
Edit: The V in the name shouldn't be capitalized.
A subreddit that uses bots to remind you of how many subreddits you’re currently banned from.
I'm a big gamer and very excited for the future of video game adaptations. They're so much better now and tons of new games are being announced.
Most people think of metal and metalheads as just dark/brooding/angry/violent music and people, but then you got those who just wanna have fun. I think I remember a picture of Tom Araya (Slayer vocals/bass) wearing a Sponge Bob shirt. That is something unexpected, and something to not only entertain but dispell the prejudice the music brings. Some wear fashion not of the rock/punk/metal styles, including myself (not even tattoos; permanent art needs to be serious for me), while others just look like completely normal people you wouldn't expect, especially in a uniform (military, cop, nurse scrubs, janitors, etc.).
Overall, this should be fun. Sexy would be allowed, but not "sexual" (nudity mainly; maybe covered or unexposed).
Like with /r/ItRunsDoom, but with Windows 11
There are ways around Windows 11's stringent requirements. I've heard, maybe even seen cases of Windows 11 running on some very old or otherwise unlikely hardware.
It might not always perform the greatest, but if it at least boots, it should qualify.
I’ve wanted to make this for a little while and I’m just nervous about it flopping because it would be pretty lame since the idea is kind of vulnerable and having no one respond would be discouraging.
Anyways, the idea is that you post a short paragraph about yourself and your hobbies/personality or whatever, then maybe a picture of you and things you care about. Then the next person would do the same and say something kind about you. Would anyone join if I made this?
Like r/distressingmemes but for stuff like having to go to school on christmas while wearing itchy underwear instead of dying and going to heaven only to see that the devil rules the throne after he "killed god"
A sub where you get to ask the stupid or weird or embarrassing questions that you would only get in an intimate and private relationship. The replies would ideally be incredibly honest or earnestly explanatory or take on a persona that seems appropriate to the questioner, in an improvisational way. Could also include posts that are variations on the theme, flaired with AskMySO/Parent/Boss/Sibling/Child/Politician etc.
A subreddit for when you’re worried about something dumb and someone can either tell you what you need to do about the situation or that it’s not a big deal!
LEGO IDEAS - Wall Mountable Chessboard
This idea dawned on my son and I when we had to move our chess game, and a phenomenal game was ruined when one of the pieces fell to the floor. I promised him we could create a chessboard where this would not happen again, and was so excited when we did. We decided to create a wall mountable chessboard with LEGO pieces available within our home. The goal was to ensure the pieces stuck to the board, yet could easily be moved when needed.
This Wall Mountable Chessboard was built to meet various lifestyles and environments. It’s great for your home, parties, classrooms, workplaces and public spaces. It can be played with family, friends, colleagues or strangers. When two players have scheduling conflicts, they can play at their own schedules, while not worrying about impacts to the chessboard over time. During parties it's great to have the board at eye level, and in a coffee shop it creates a sense of mystery. Teaching enthusiasts how to play chess with a Wall Mounted Chessboard allows anyone and everyone to see it, instead of having to hover over the board on a table.
This Wall Mountable Chessboard LEGO set can attract international interest, as the game of chess remains one of the greatest tabletop games in the world. The simplicity of this build is suitable for all ages, and a great set for anyone to own.
My son and I would really appreciate your support in helping this idea become a reality.
We would love to reach 10,000 Supporters to have LEGO assist us in creating some of the pieces needed to make this a reality!
Support us now, if you like this idea.
Share this idea with anyone you believe would support it, along with any chess clubs, online chess boards or chess enthusiasts you are aware of.
Thank you!
