This is our first Halloween in Plattsburgh and we’re not quite sure where to take the kids. Is there a general area/radius that is a decent place for trick or treating?

So whenever the crossing guard is out, I get to listen to him yell at all the cars going fast by because people really do not understand what 20mph is on Broad and Oak st. I think we’re gonna need a cop to watch this because the speeding is crazy.

Looking to see if there are any trails that young kids can ride on. No big hills or mountain bikes or anything like that.

There is a fun run that encourages costumes in Champlain, NY. I heard that the money collected at the run will be donated to some form of recreation in the area.

I’m looking for a company that can grieve my taxes for me. I have a unique situation in that I knowingly grossly overpaid for property I recently purchased. What I did not anticipate was that my property would immediately be reassessed for the price I paid, which is more than it is worth and more than I could get if I tried to sell it.

Anyone willing to give lessons on this side of the lake? I took 2 lesson’s in VT last year but that school has only offered 1-2 lessons so far this year and I haven’t been available. I am also on an email list for lessons out of Montreal but so far that has been the same story as the VT school. I have several years of surfing experience and wetsuits for all conditions.
