Hello,
I have a dresser for sale, it’s a dark wood barn door style dresser.
It’s 20.5 inches deep, 5 feet tall, & 52.5 inches wide.
It will hold a lot of clothes and there is a shelf under it, that can hold either shoes or baskets.
It has three shelves. It is quite heavy but it’s sturdy. Where I am moving, it does not fit.
PM me if you are interested in pics.
I don’t have a car big enough to meet you anywhere with it, so you would have to come and pick it up. But I can help you move it into your car/truck.
Pretty last minute but if anyone needs an extra ticket, DM me.

The Philly Sober Summit and Upcoming Events:
We're using our social mixers to connect a variety of Philly demographics, and will hold events on the first Wednesday of each month. The next social mixer is our Philly Sober Summit which will be held on Wednesday, August 7th at 7:30 pm. The waitlist is currently open. Click here (link) to sign up. Our sober mixer and all of our events are open to everyone. However, the theme highlights our focus.
Here's our upcoming schedule for the rest of the year:
Our aim is to do one large experience a month and smaller "nights out" like our Fishtown Bar Crawl, Girls Night Out, and Queer Eye for the Philly Guy experiences in-between our larger events.
Our Pay-What-You-Can Sponsorship Program:
Our program is primarily funded by sponsorship (and sometimes ticket sales dependent on the theme and venue). Sponsors are acknowledged at our event, in our promotional materials, and receive a one-page ad in our magazine (link). In the spirit of inclusivity and for a limited time, we're offering a "Pay-What-You-Can" Sponsorship Program for individuals (creators, artisans, etc.) and organizations to participate. You can learn more by viewing our brochure (link).
Our comic book-esque series is announced and inspired by one of the events featured in Escape the Swipe Magazine (link).:
Through Escape the Swipe Magazine, I've created a comic book-esque version of myself based on one of the outdoor dance events (.xyz (link)) featured in the last issue of the magazine. You can read the story for free by clicking here (link).
Interested in meeting the comic book-esque version of yourself 🦸💥? How about meeting your Philly arch-nemesis for the first time 😈? Allow me to create your superhero story 💪💪 ! Using a questionnaire to capture your essence and interests, you'll receive a personalized story featuring your likeness set to the backdrop of a Philly location. You'll also receive a comic book-esque picture of yourself to help you visualize your inner superhero! (This is also a great gift idea 🎁💝!)
The price of this service is $125. The fee helps to support our overall mixer program. Email me with your interest: escapetheswipe@gmail.com (link). (P.S. - The next Subsurface event is this Sunday. Be sure to check it out.)
Married couple in our late 30s looking for a 1000+ sq ft apartment in the aforementioned areas. We are good tenants who pay on time, our credit scores are both 750+, no evictions, very quiet and clean people.
We're looking for a place that has some kind of natural light as where we live now is basically a dark hole that is untouched by the sun. We don't want to live underneath anyone unless the building is concrete and you can't really hear the people upstairs. We do like to cook so having a decent kitchen with pantry space is important to us.
Our budget caps out around $2200/month, and we're not opposed to big properties but would prefer a mom and pop landlord instead of some giant corporation.
This is an unintentionally phallic map of the area we're considering.
Edit: Our move-in timeframe is August up to mid-September.
Friends are moving into my 3 bed/2 bath rowhome in Cobbs Creek and looking for roommate(s) to take over the other two bedrooms/bathroom. Perfect for couples or someone who wants a separate office/studio/workspace from their bedroom. Pet friendly on condition- Dm me for details!
Hi! I'm looking for sublet available Aug 1st (or mid-late July if possible). I make a very comfortable wage, no pets, and a good records with previous land lords. I'm interested in places in South Philly, but am not super picky! I'll be leaving for a teach abroad program next year so I just need a place to stay from August through early next year. If anyone is available, or knows anyone that is, that'd be very helpful!
Thank you!

Two beach cruisers that have been in storage for four years, not ridden at all. They're both in great shape. Probably need new inner tubes, maybe need new bike chains. A bike "tune-up" would have them on the road immediately. Firm price, not willing to split them up. They're in Chestnut Hill. You'll have to pick them up. DM if interested.
I'm going to be completely honest because I don't have anything to lose. I'm a stay at home mom to 4 kids. 2 of them do online school and 2 of them are babies. I'm also married. My husband is a carpenter and can quite literally build a house from the ground up. We live in Bensalem in a very small, quite expensive apartment. It might sound good but in reality we are struggling. My husband worked for a company that paid him well, but that company has shut down and we've kind of struggled ever since. Naturally we got behind on rent, and yesterday we received an eviction notice telling us we have court soon. We made horrible decisions to survive when we were younger and ruined our credit. We have 2 evictions. We couldn't even open a bank account until recently due to being blacklisted by Chex system. My husband gets paid in cash so we don't have proof of income. I know that's not ideal but that's how we survive. I know the odds are completely stacked against us. But if there's anyone willing to rent to us, we just need an opportunity to redeem ourselves and rebuild. I've emailed and called multiple places to no avail. Like I said, I know everything is stacked against us, I don't need anyone to tell me to make better decisions or to get a job myself. I've had horrific experiences with daycare and I don't have friends or family to depend on for child care or any other help for that matter. I don't need my past thrown in my face, I'm well aware of it and I can't escape from it no matter how much I pray. We just need a lifeline. We're from Philly, we'd like to get back there. If anyone can help at all, I don't care which part of Philly, I'd be truly grateful beyond words. Thanks for reading.

Hey y’all,
I recently graduated college and received a job offer in Philly.
I’m moving to Philly on July 1st, 2024 for the new job and urgently need a private bedroom/private bathroom {Max: $900/month} in a shared house.
I’ll be bringing my car with me so finding a place with easy street parking is also top of my priority.
Please let me know if y’all have anything available.
Thanks!
Looking to sell this all as a set. Everything is in great shape. Asking for $400. Includes gym flooring and plywood underneath if desired.
So many people live here! I just want to be alone occasionally. like, 1 day a month where I can be outside in nature without constantly running into people.
I recently got access to a car. Where so I go outside of philly to be alone?

Hey all! I'm looking for a July/August apartment or sublet near Center City or in West Philly. My budget is 800-1000. I'm currently unemployed but still receiving UI and have savings that equal at least 3x yearly rent. I'm ideally looking for a private landlord who would be comfortable with that scenario. Please let me know if you have any leads.
