Are there any actually good fraternities left at ODU? I left back in 2020 and its seem to have gone downhill as hell coming back this semester.

I have been impatiently waiting for a response for my grad school application. It’s been over 4 weeks since the deadline and I’d applied early.

I wanted to reach out but didn’t want to say the wrong thing, make a bad impression, seem pushy, etc.

After seeing someone else’s Reddit post about touching base and getting accepted that day, I decided to send an email. Boy, am I glad I did. They responded quickly, got me to the right person, and we got the ball rolling. Apparently, even though the portal said everything was turned it, something was wrong with my transcripts and my application couldn’t be processed. I’ve sent them in again and get to resume my waiting.

All this to say, if you find yourself in a similar situation, send the email or make the phone call to follow up.

We pay how much to attend here, and they can’t keep toilet paper stocked in BAL for us ibs, period having girlies 😭

As the title suggests, I'm curious how I can go about setting up a table at the Webb. For more specifics, I'm trying to set up a project for a class that needs participants to interact. I'm not sponsored by any org or dept I'm just trying to get a final project done. I emailed SET scheduling and they told me I have to be sponsored and to get a professor/dept head to email them the date and time to reserve a table. Would I get in trouble if I just set up outside or inside of the Webb at a random table? How do I go about doing this project without having to go through multiple people? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, I am an international student planning to apply to ODU for MA Economics. Anyone currently studying the degree there, how is the curriculum and what are the assistantships provided to students? Is it possible to receive assistantship at the time of admissions?

I just got accepted. Can anyone describe the area? Would I need a car to be off-campus or go to a store or the beach? Is there anything to do besides being on campus? Are there lots of campus activities or do most commute? I’m trying to get an understanding of the surroundings before I plan a trip down to check it out. Thank you!!

So, I registered late for classes (I know, registering late for science-specific courses is dumb, but here we are). I really need Anatomy 240 or any class that counts toward a biology-specific major for Spring 2025, but everything is full right now.

From what I’ve heard, there’s still a chance to pick up a course during the first week of the term if someone drops, but is that my only hope? Should I just keep checking 2-3 times a day to see if something opens up?

I know it’s on me for waiting too long, but I’m hoping someone here has advice or experience with this kind of situation. Has anyone successfully snagged a science class this late, or am I pretty much stuck until next year?

Hi all, I’m graduating December 14th this year and was hoping anyone might have extra grad tickets I could buy , I’m trying to get as many as I can!

Recently got accepted into the MEM program. (I’m located in VB if relevant) I spoke to my advisor and she said I could switch to the MS route for engineering management if I found a professor to work with me within the first semester.

I’m working full time, but want to know how the time investment in the program would change if I did the MS option instead. Is there anyone who’s taken the program that could give me any advice?

For context; I’m doing this because I’m interested, not necessarily because I’m looking for a specific type of career progression.

I have to take stats in order to graduate but am planning to take it online bc I am a fully remote student. Has anyone taken this format and is it hard?
