Is anyone going to Dogfish Head Miami’s “Bosh Blonde” can release party on Sunday at noon? If not, know anyone in that area that may? I’d love to pay someone to pick up and ship and would even send local stuff (New Glarus etc) to them for their efforts. Just really want this rare release bc I love Dogfish Head and Chris Bosh but can’t make it to Miami from greater Chicago at the moment.
New to the area and was looking for interesting beer festivals. Really enjoy the unlimited sampler format of a beer festival. Will grovetoberfest be occurring this year? If not, any recommendations?
Hi all - my partner and I are both big into the craft beer world out in NYC, and because of the pandemic (and an especially rough winter), she has pushed hard for and gotten me to agree to do a short trip down south for a break. We'll be local in about a week and a half, and around for just under a week.
All of that said: What breweries in Miami (or in the Fort Lauderdale area, as we're doing a couple nights nearer to there at an AirBnB) are most worth a visit? I've checked the Thrillist list, cross-checked average scores for beers at some off their list on Untapp'd, and likely want to push for the ones we already knew of (J Wakefield + Tripping Animals), and maybe M.I.A. or Lincoln's Beard.
Are those 4 worth it? Would you push for anyplace else? We both love NEIPAs, stouts, lagers, etc. Basically into most-styles, except for barleywines.
Thank you!
Looking for a proxy to pick up beers at Wakefield and either hold til I can get back down there or ship to me. Will certainly compensate for your efforts.
What’s up everyone! Just found this sub, is it still active?
$130 for both, or $70 each. These are below the “Early Bird” ticket prices. Shoot me a message if you are interested or if you know anyone who might be interested. Would want to hand off the wristbands in person on either 2/13 or 2/14. Cheers!
I'm bringing 2 mixed 4pks of Monkish (8 different cans from the last month) and I'm looking for 3Sons bottle(s). Vanilla Face, Boysen the Hood, Broward County Reg/Scoop.
Anyone interested? I know it's a late post, but I'm bring these cans regardless...maybe a few of the bottles, though I don't know which ones yet.
DM Me, then we can talk on IG while I'm in Miami...easier, what with the notifications and all.
We can work out trade ratios later.
Staying in Coral Gables but I'll have a car. I'm flying home on New Year's Eve, so it needs to happen by end of day on the 30th.
Due to baggage weight I was only able to pack the Monkish cans, the Jester King bottle, and the Mumford bottle. The rest are staying home.
EDIT
Also, what's the best bottle shop?
Preferably somewhat close to Coral Gables.
Thanks!

Hey folks! Hanging out in your fair city of homestead and curious if there were any bottle-shops worth hitting up in Homestead? Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
Anyone know if Founders CBS will be available around Miami?
