Crosby Hops Account Manager - SE opening, no professional beer exp required. Combine passion & work.

Hey, homebrewers and craft beer enthusiasts! Christine here from Crosby Hops. We are expanding our team and looking for a passionate Account Manager to join us in serving the Southeast region. Professional brewing experience is not required, but a love for craft beer and hops is, so we are sharing to this community. In addition to love of all things lupulin, you'll need to have proven sales experience, a self-starting and competitive spirit to find opportunities even in a challenging market, and enjoyment of prospecting and opening new accounts.

Crosby Hops is a family-owned hop grower, processor, and merchant based in Woodburn, Oregon. We work with our own fifth-generation farm growing 750-acres of hops, and a group of select grower partners, to consistently source world-class hops to process into high-quality hop products and deliver best-in-class customer experience. Our modern and sophisticated pelleting facility produces Type 90 and CGX hop pellets that offer exceptional capabilities and flavor for craft brewers.

As the Account Manager - Southeast, you’ll work directly with breweries to provide the best hop varieties and products for their beers.

Requirements:

  • Live within the Southeast region (Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or business development roles with demonstrated ability to exceed sales quotas and build strong lasting relationships
  • Professional beer industry experience is not required, but a passion for craft beer and hops is a must! If you don't have beer industry experience, please share why you are interested.
  • Experience and enjoyment for prospecting to open new accounts, including cold calling
  • Work independently in home office 75% of the time, prospecting and communicating with existing clients
  • Ability to travel in region 25% of the time and to Oregon for harvest

Beer shop near Delray or Boynton Beach?

Heading down to visit some family in a couple of weeks and trying to find the closest/best place to buy some local beer.

Any good shops in the area that carry a lot of local stuff?

Beer to look for on shelves? Breweries? Best place to find said beers? Grayton/Santa Rosa/Seaside area. I could also theoretically set up a trade!

Hi kinda Florida bros! Staying into Grayton for our annual family trip. (RIP Red Bar)

If theres a sticky or wiki post, if someone could link I would be greatly appreciative. Having a hard time on mobile. So I wont have access to much transportation unfortunately so Pensacola and Destin are out the list. TIA

  • Breweries?

  • What are some of your favorite beers available either brewery only or retail.

  • Best stores to find said beers?

  • Florida have any shitty beer laws like Texas? (e.g. no more than one crowler fill or something along those lines)
