What’s your strategy going into the run that should finally begin in December

Last run in 2021 I got in late, started in Early May buying L3’s off EBay for 2100-2300 each. Ended up getting 26..transitioned over to L7 9050 eventually getting up to 13 on a residential address by upgrading from 200 amps to 400 amps. I mined with L7’s from January 2022 till August 2024. Lots of drama and learning lessons learned. I’m currently transitioning my old units into LTC and sitting the sidelines till I cash out the coins I hold and begin purchasing L9’s to get hosted remotely (most likely with coastal crypto). I would like a full rack set up 60 units (figuring it will be about $400,000 in equipment). This should be close to 1 TeraHash or 1000 GigaHash of Scrypt.

Scrypt mining strategy

Contrary to popular believe, I’m not mining and holding doge with my L7’s, what I’m doing rn is mining to NiceHash and stacking sats.

However, I recently came across mining-dutch pool and was considering a strategy I would like to share here and get your thoughts on.

Simple strategy, 90/10 : BTC/DOGE. So I can still stack some sats, with getting some daily exposure to the potential upside of DOGE.

What are the community’s thoughts on this?

Dutch mining pool is new king

Was originally on litecoinpool, switched over to f2pool after merging with bells, and now dutch mining has merged alongside with lucky coin making an even bigger difference. Tested out 1 day with the l7 and the lazy miner feature allows you to convert the mined coins into a percentage of whatever coin you like (I switched to 100% doge) and clocked 140 doge. Try it out

Beware F2Pool - my experience indicates they might be skimming rewards

I have my miners spread across multiple pools and I compare each of them, and in the last 6 months or so I've discovered that F2Pool has been slowly reducing it's payouts compared to other miners.

I suspect they do this slowly over the life of you mining with them, it is very gradual so it's hard to detect, but at this point now I'm getting almost a full 25% LESS rewards from my F2Pool miners.

Extremely disappointed - this used to be my favourite mining pool and it's now become one I am withdrawing all my hashpower from.

Why I’m Bullish On Scrypt Mining

I think that out of all the algorithms and coins out there that you can mine, Kaspa, Bitcoin, ETH Classic, Alephium, etc. Scrypt mining is the only algorithm that I have seen that when you buy a unit like an L7 in the past it was on the pricier side but help its value for many years and was a pretty stable earner, even with a bit of of pricier electric rate it would still earn good money, there wasn’t new asic models coming out ever few weeks with the hashrate of them just doubling and tripling.

The L9 recently came out, yes it’s pricy but at $0.08kWh it’s earning just shy of $19 a day, which if we look at previous history of these units (L7) we know they tend to hold there value for some time and are in my opinion Scrypt is the most stable algorithm today, and on top of this we are now merge mining 3 coins instead of 2 so now you are mining Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Bells at the same time.

Sorry for my little rant here just want to share some of my info and knowledge of the crypto mining markets as it can help tough to navigate, if you are looking into purchasing any Scrypt miners like the L7 or L9, or any other ASIC miners send me a message and if you have any questions leave them below and I’ll be happy to answer them!

Is cryptominerbros.com legit?

They sponsor VoskCoin, and RedPandaMining, and are listed as real sellers on Nicehash, and ASIC Miner Value. Do any of you have experience with these guys? Thanks in advance!

Question about mining pool data

https://preview.redd.it/ppl015tskwsd1.png?width=1681&format=png&auto=webp&s=f87edb22cf4e63cac2ebce11f95aa8745d628bd7

Does anyone have any insight on who the unknown pool/pools are in this graph? I'm assuming it's actually composed of individual miners and if so that's pretty amazing but if not that's more than a little concerning for the future of the project.

Very high success rate on repairs

Highly recommended.. I have used these guys quite a bit.. they can fix about 95+% of what they work on. I have had several L7’s go down over the past 2.5 years and they get them back up and running. The cool thing is all their prices are in Canadian so when you pay with a card it’s like a 25% discount ( if that makes sense ).

LOKOTECH = SCAM!

There's no proof of anything—this is a huge scam! A computer program can say whatever it wants, but that doesn't make it true. Just look at Intel, a company that knows how to make chips, and even they failed in certain areas. Nvidia controls around 95% of the AI chip market, with AMD holding the remaining 5%. Yet, we're supposed to believe that a small company, with a balance sheet under $3-4 million USD, can outperform Nvidia and produce a better AI GPU? They don't even seem to understand the real power demands their product would require. After nearly seven years, there are still no real units. They’ve invested heavily but haven't recouped their initial 100 million NOK. This reeks of a scam!

They can’t deliver a product, and instead of addressing that, they try to distract by talking about unrelated things like Filecoin or purchasing a few datacenters. If you understand the power purchase agreements (PPA) and fees, the cost is around 7-8 cents per kWh, depending on factors like reselling heat, but even then, you’ll struggle to find anyone willing to buy 1 MW+ of power every hour, 24 hours a day.

Avoid this at all costs! They’re scamming you and everyone else. Think about it—if their chip were truly that good, Nvidia or AMD would have acquired the company long ago. Yet, they keep pushing out vague promises with no delivery dates in sight. They clearly have no clue about the complexities of running datacenters. None of them have any experience with mining operations, and trust me, I know this industry. Do you honestly believe Bitmain and other major ASIC manufacturers would let a small three-person team in Norway outperform them by 300-450%? Do you really think a billion-dollar company would overlook that? Please, use your common sense and reconsider where you're investing your money. This is a massive scam—if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

You'll start seeing many people praising the company—do you know why? They hold shares and don’t want to lose money by selling at a loss. Don’t trust those who vouch for them! Companies like Bitmain take 4 to 12 months to develop new designs, like the L9, and they’re up and running within months. LokoTech, on the other hand, is nothing like that. Trust me, steer clear of LokoTech!

Within a week after BEL merged mining went online, the hashrate of LTC’s entire network increased by 30T.

Welcome to mine DOGE, BEL, and LTC with f2🐟pool!

Nicehash SCAM? Add administrative fees and for inactive account fee

https://www.nicehash.com/support/general-help/service-fees/inactive-accounts

And others administrative fees https://www.nicehash.com/support/general-help/service-fees/administrative-costs

NH - Scam!?

I still remember the dirty story of them zeroing out balances and giving funds back for years.

Now on one of my old accounts I wanted to withdraw just these refunds and Nicehash won't let me do it, I did everything they asked and even KYC level 2.

They used my BTC on my account for years for free and now they won't let me withdraw them.

LTC Triple Merged Mining

The LTC miners are migrating from Binance to ViaBTC (and others pools) since they still don't implemented BEL coin to be merged mining together with Litecoin and Dogecoin. BEL is a supposed new memecoin created by the same original Dogecoin creator (can not verify if this is true).

Now ViaBTC owns around 31-33% of total hashrate.

BEL is probably one more scam coin, but miners are using it to increase their profits while this not rugpull. But are you guys mining it?

FutureBit miners

I purchased an Apollo LTC miner when they first came out. Ive ran it for about a year, and it has worked well.

I'm getting out of mining.. so it's available.

P.S. i started with a stack of Gridseed hockey puck miners, until the technology got better

BEL will undergo a hard fork and higher revenues will be achieved if merged mining with LTC and DOGE can be supported.

What’s the chance of a 3rd revenue stream with Scrypt

Mines LTC and DOGE along with PEPE ? I would definitely diverse the DOGE and PEPE. A third revenue stream would be just gravy. No one has really rocked the Scrypt world in the most recent upgrades. I’m wondering if the L9 will be the best or will have a contender in the next few months. I’m not sure if the algorithm is identical or slightly different and is a software engineering thing or just the pool.

My journey is coming to an end in home mining

Litecoinpool stats

Total work done 4,447 PH (rank 299) Blocks found 31 (rank 1457)

I started home mining in 2021 posting to Reddit under my actual name. For security reasons I have to change and delete a lot of good content in my Journey. I started with 1 then 3 L3++ in May 2021 only to get swept up and purchase 20 more by July 2021. I suddenly found out that my 200 amp service could only support 14 at once. The remaining 9 sat until I was able to replace my electricity cable with a new 400 amp service. During Covid this was no easy task because there was a severe shortage of electrical meter cans with 6-9 month back logs. My electrician was able to locate one 4 states away and drove to get it. It was 17,000 to replace the line provided that I hand dug 105 Ft 30 inches deep and 12” wide. That was no fun. I them had a custom stainless steel manifold built to vent out the heat with a 4200 CFM extraction fan sucking out the heat and a massive 7 by 8 foot evaporative fan by “ BIG ASS FAN “ to cool the air. This was one of many learning lessons as humidity is bad for your units. I fried 6 by placing too close to the L3’s and the evaporation fan literally spit water on them. I was about 3 months in and my 1st L7 arrived ( produced as much has as 15 L3++ over clocked). The following month I got an HOA LETTER for noise. I then had my Exhaust manifold cut from 8.5’ into 2 units and had 14 220 plugs re router 100 ft away to a bedroom on the far side of the house and ordered 3 more L7 9050 models ( they were 20,000 each at that time March 2022). I went on to reinvesting the profits and 100,000 into 13 L7 9050’s on top of my 60,000 previously invested in my journey. After a series of mistakes like 2 E9 miners ( 20,000 total ) and a 38,000 hack that was about the equivalent of 425 LTC on June 2 2023. All in all I made 120,000 of “ learning lessons “ a.k.a. Mistakes. Luckily I was able to survive the set backs. I recently sent 8 L7’s to D-Central (in Canada ) with the last 4 to be sent mid August as my electric goes from .1005 to .1567 per kWh. I plan on getting rid these off In consignment (12 total as the 13 was in operable and was traded for services to East Coast ASICS). I will convert all the proceeds into LTC and should be ready for the March to May 2025 BULL RUN / peak. I hope the have 1100-1200 LTC going into the run which is 1500 short of my initial calculations due to mistakes. These are mining mistakes you have to learn to understand how not to do again. In 2025-2026 my goal is tho have 30-49 L9’s being hosted at .07-.09 per kWh rates at reputable sites by

The stats on Litecoin pool are from October of 22 to now.. previously used ProHashing
