Any recommendations for native liquidity pools?

Trying to get away from Thorchain. Curious if anyone has a native liquidity project worth looking into. Trying to avoid ETH, POL, SOL and other centralized networks. If liquidity pools aren't your thing, what do you do with the coins you mine? Thanks in advance.

Antminer L7 with wrong firmware

I am currently looking into an L7+ with a firmware issue. The seller mentioned that it was originally on T19 model firmware when he bought it from someone else. He said he replaced the grills and cleaned it (and maybe something else, too) and then was able to get the firmware to L7 firmware. However, it is not hashing.

Has anyone heard or dealt with something similar before? He mentioned since it was used before that maybe the hashboards are set incorrectly when it was previously used and causing the issue. But the green light is on

Anybody has experience hosting here? Any insight as to what the cost is and what to expect on an L7 ? Any other more reputable affordable places?

Miner Investment

What is the best ASIC miner to invest in currently if one has access to free power (110 only) and internet. I was an avid GPU miner in the aught-teens and looking to dabble again. Not married to mining LTC, but have experience in that. Thanks for any suggestions!

What is the safe range of temps for the Antminer L9 on the inlet and outlet? How many hardware errors are expected per period of time(Ex: hours, days). Any after market firmware to improve efficiency yet? Thanks in advance!

Lokotech updates

Hey all, I’m lazy and rarely come on here anymore. I’ve been wondering about Lokotech’s hash blades and if anyone has them yet. It’s been ages since they promised a release and I haven’t kept up.

I’ve been quietly hashing, but haven’t been in the space much during the past year. My youngest daughter had a bunch of seizures last Feb and life changed a bit.

But I miss you degenerates and nut cases. Keep hashing.

Question about powerpool payouts..

Full discloser, i'm not mining to powerpool, but rather considering it for the reason that can be deduced from my question below..

The autoconvert feature to my knowledge in power pool allows you to choose which coin you get paid out in (i.e DOGE, BTC, LTC), and you choose percenatges for each coin. Will the percentages be based on the rewards at the time (per 2 hours / day) or based on the amount in my wallet at any given moment?

The reason i need this clarified is because i want to know if i have faster payouts for one coin over another, will it affect the percentages of each coin being paid out?

By now, you must be thinking, what is this guy on about, and i dont blame ya.

Let's take an example..

I choose to get paid out in DOGE (50%) and BTC (50%), and my payout threshold is set lower (i.e) faster on DOGE. So i get paid out once a day for doge, but once a week in BTC.. NOW, after the doge is paid out, will the pool always try to get to 50% DOGE on the wallet balance, where now there is only BTC (100%), so the pool keep converting trying to balance out DOGE and BTC at 50%, only for DOGE to be paid out again before BTC is paid out.. This makes it so i'm only mining DOGE after this point which would be extremely frustrating.

Hope someone can answer my question.. Would love any insight from people using the pool about it.

Help for New Miner

I have yet to purchase a mining rig. I know very little in regards to mining. I currently mine pools with my old 2080 Ti GPU from my desktop using unminable. I just started a few days ago to learn a bit about it.

Now, I understand what I'm currently using is crap. I'm not concerned with that.

Can one of you wonderful people help guide me to the proper equipment. My ideal is something around 1k or less that can do 400 MH or better with a decent power efficiency and something that isn't 70+ Db.

All help is welcome. Understand that I know very little and try not to be rude if my ideal isn't possible or likely just help guide me to what is possible and where to look.

Beginner miner (questions)

Hello! Hope I’m on the right sub for this question…

Quick note, I’m the IT administrator at a small community non profit in northern Alaska and lately I’ve been trying to find creative ways to raise funds for our organization. I wanted to think beyond the box and had the crazy idea of mining crypto and my director was very open to the idea! I had a small budget and so decided to start with 2x L3+ miners (I know they are legacy but thankfully we don’t pay for power so I calculated we should be in profit after about 5 months of mining).

My main question is, how can I maximize the earnings from these miners? In other words, what pool can I mine both DOGE & LITECOIN on? I was going to use Unminable but if I can somehow use a pool that would end up making more profits for the hash I would use that instead. If this ends up being somewhat successful I think we’d end up investing is more and better miners, but so far it’s something we are trying out and quite honestly it’s crazy that we are going to be doing this.

I’m new to the mining world (especially the LITECOIN world) so thank you for all the helpful information in advance!

Exploding difficulty.. I anticipate 95M by July

Here the million dollar question. How profitable will the L9’s be in the 2027 winter ? Currently difficulty is about 65M as opposed to the 7-9M it was in 2021 basically you need about 800% more computing or Hash power to mine the same amount. Seeing that DOGE Last cycle went to .74 and back to .048 in the winter period I’m carefully gauging what is an acceptable just based on .09 per kilowatt hour. I believe we see Doge Hit .85 to .98 this run but also .08 to .09 in the later winter. I think a safe entry point is 8600 or Less per L9 IMHO

Verified Sellers Like in r/BitcoinMining?

Have the mods considered allowing verified sellers to post ads here? Similar to the program r/BitcoinMining recently implemented? Maybe you can collaborate with u/MaiRufu and the other r/BitcoinMining mods this.

Getting Pepecoin ($PEP) while mining Litecoin

Do you know that when you mine Litecoin, you also get Pepecoin ? Do you know what Pepecoin is ?

Pepecoin ($PEP) is the only coin based on Pepe the Frog:

- Layer 1 blockchain (not just a token)

- No presale or premining (not even for the developers)

- Open-source project forked from Dogecoin

- A welcoming and active community (around 30,000 on social media)

- Litecoin, Dogecoin and Pepecoin can be mined simultaneously

- No risk of rug pull (the largest wallet holds only 1.4% of the coins)

- Market cap is $90M, with a current circulating supply of 90 billion, projected to reach 100 billion by the end of 2025

- Pepecoin's inflation rate will decrease yearly, starting at 5% in 2025

- Genuinely useful features, like tipping on all subreddits and Discord

You can verify everything on r/pepecoin or pepecoin.org!

Anyone know where I can get the connection bar, screws and cover for an L7 power supply

I had work done on 9 units the repair service used the PSU and I was assuming they only needed the actual PSU and were not going to butcher it for extra parts 🤦🏻‍♂️. I am waiting for a response to see if they just forgot to include when shipping back. Either way very frustrating

Intro?

So I'm interested I'm getting started. Right now the price of a Kw/h where I live is something north of 10 dollars. Has any had a viable solution to reducing either the power consumed or to generate it? Ive been looking and it just seems like the best one can do is get a home miner that draws 600w and use something like a solar battery backup method? Just curious. New to mining in general - HiveOS looked like the way to go, and I have a trezor coming to store it. But I'm open to pools, and ideas. Thanks

Completely dead L3+, what do I do?

So I actually have an L3+ that I originally started mining with but it's been dead for a couple years now and I just have it sitting around the house, is there anything I can do with it at all?

Or should I just go to an E-Waste recycler, should I keep the shell?

Getting back into mining

As the title says, I'm looking into getting back into mining. Im in talks currently with someone locally selling 2 used L7s for $2950 CAD each. Assuming I can go inspect them and make sure theyre hashing properly, would this be a good price point to buy these miners at?

I'd host them myself but Canada has a lack 220v plugs so I was planning on hosting them through d-central($75/M all included) or something similar depending on what is cheapest/best.
